Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits Recognise Only Larger Usb Ext Hdd
Nov 10, 2011I have two large USB (1Tb and 2 Tb) external drives running on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bts. But when I get my old 40 Gb ext hdd or my mate's similar unit but 60 Gb (both are generic) I can't see them. Yet if I plug them on my XP laptop, or Window 7 starter notebook they install automatically with no problem! I can see my own device in Management but it requires to initial...and it won't, as for my mate's nothing at all happens when I plug it on the usb port, but the unit's green light is on!.

Sep 30, 2011I brought two brand new Sabrent 6 Channel 5.1 Sound 3D PCI Sound Cards. Installed both on two exact systems except one is running windows XP and the other is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.
No problems installing card and driver in the XP machine, but the window 7 doesn't even pick up that's it's there. I tried to installed the driver hoping maybe this will cause windows to see the card but the installation starts and after a few seconds comes up with and error message that says "Do not support this platform 0" this is coming from the CD that came with the card.
I tried downloading and installing the driver from Sabrent, and C-Media and with each installation attempt same error message.

Feb 22, 2012I installed AutoCad 2012 in my Dell XPS 15 Laptop (Windows 7 64-bits), but it kept giving me problems with continuous crashes. I decided to format my system by performing a clean installation of Windows 7 32-bits (it is the configuration I have been working with in two other computers without those problems). To accomplish it I was able to get most of the drivers I needed for the new configuration. But there are several problems I could not get solved so far: one has to do with the title of this message. I went to Dell site but I could not find and download any driver for the PCIVEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&CC_0780 that Windows tells I need. And the other problem is that I cannot install the driver for my NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M because whenever I try to do it, the installer stops installation of the driver and shows a message telling me that there is an Intel component missing that I have to install prior to attempt installing the NVIDIA thing.

Windows 7 Genuinty Check Failed And No Longer Can Install OS?
Sep 30, 2011idn't use the Win7 Loader. It detected that my copy wasn't genuine and then it froze. After that regardless of how many times I tried, I cannot install an OS. I tried Hiren's Boot CD and that failed too. I've physically removed the HDD and formatted it on another system yet no good comes out of it. My HDD's health is fine.

So I made sure all update services / module were started, and even tried the "fix it update program" still same error.. This never happened to me before.. I'm stuck.
