I would like to know exactly how a boot Win-7 CD is to be created in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Also is there a way through which a 64 bit O.S can be run on a 32bit system??
I used NClauncher to download a game but when I started to download I encounter an error and got this message.
"The server does not support the necessary HTTP protocol. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) requires that the server support the Range protocol header." I try many about turn off firewall or antivirus but it doesn't work.
[URL] I try to use method 1 to solve the problem but when I type the command and enter it show message "Windows cannot find 'C:program' make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.. "
then I go look for osql.exe or ExecuteSQL.exe in my computer but they not be found. I think I dont even have them install in my computer and I dont even know what is WSUS and what version do I use.
I hold a window 7 64 bits pc. I would like to install a cd Adobe flash cs5 for 32 bits to my pc. I would like advise if this is a wise idea to do so..or there is other options that i can op for in order to run any of my 32 bits cd on a 64 bits pc.
which of the two versions of windows 7 is better, 32 bits or 64bit. I tried installing adobe suite but some of the programmes didn't install because the minimum system requirements (64bits) were not met. I have been using 32 bits all my life. should i or should i not pass to 64bit?
I was checking my mail when i get the blue screen of death and the following error: page_fault_in_nonpaged_areaSTOP: 0X00000050ndis.sysI am attaching the dump file to this post.By the way I had this blue screen before (with other message) I tried several times to update my drivers and I keep getting the error because there seems to be a problem between my video card and the driver. My video card has an nvidia chipset (is not a real nvidia card) and I had try to download the right drivers but the installation fails every time. Dumpcheck.rar Dumpcheck.rar
find attached the required files for diagnosing this issue. So far I have got 5 random BSoD while surfing net or doing other stuff on my laptop. I did a test with Memtest86 and it showed > 1 millions errors, but I am not sure if the RAM is the real cause.
Did anyone succeed in making this damn printer work properly (especially for the scan) on a fresh install of 7-64bits? Despite installing the latest driver from Canon for 7-64 bits (here: PIXMA MP520 /MP drivers 64 bits (1.01)) I can't get the scan working properly. For me it looks like only the generic driver from Seven is installed properly, allowing me to print but nothing else (the miniature picture from my printer indeed appears as a generic printer). Any idea?
When I install the program from Canon (MP Navigator), it says on launch that the driver is not setup...
I uninstall/reinstall several times, disabled UAC and close all apps including Kaspersky but still stuck there.
Well, I've been trying to install this for a long time and I don't seem to finnish it. The installation shows a "did not install" message. I've searched through the internet about solutions and found in my pc a ie9_main.log that shows everything about the installation.
If I had ONLY 4 gigs RAM, will I be better off with 32 or 64 bits? I'm leaning towards 64 bit to be more future-proof. But will this also make every application use twice as much memory as before? Something like registers using twice as much data? With 6+ gigs, 64 bit is the only choice, but with 4 gigs I don't have a clear answer.
I got a lot of BSOD on Windows 7 64 bits.I have updated the video cards drivers and all the others drivers windows update suggestI have run the Windows 7 mem test 2 times without any error. The weird thing is that the stop code change a lot. Here is the computer spec: HP Pavilion a6318f PC (GX769AA) specifications - HP Home & Home Office Products With a 8800 GT geforce 4 instead of the default card and 3 gigs instead of 2.For now, I'm thinking of trying another video card or doing a windows repair. But I would like if someone that know how to read dmp file could point me in the right direction.
My computer crashed while performing an update I think. I saw that it was performing updates so I went to do something else. When I came back computer was off. I tried to turn it on but it gets to the screen where I usually enter my password and stops there (before the login window appears)
Tried Launch startup repair but didn't work Tried Safe Launch but didn't work Tried booting from last known good configuration but didn't work Tried repair your computer but all I get is 'Windows is loading files' then it goes to the login screen but nothing appears. Can't find my install disk...
Sometimes before it crashes I see a blue error screen flicker but it's gone before I can read it.
Also ran a memory diagnostics tool. It says that no problems were detected but I can't see the actual results because they are displayed after I log on but I don't get there
I removed (?) all the bloatware and software I did not wanted to use that came with my Toshiba laptop! Ex: McAfee, Nero, I removed via Control Panel/Uninstall programs! But I know that almost all the time, there are still "bits" of those sw that remain in the computer! My question: how can I remove all those "bits"? For example I saw that somewhere in the Registry (via regedit) there was (still) some McAfee and Nero folders!!! Is it safe to delete those?
I installed my driver plc6 for Canon iR2018 but I cannot detect the scanner using word, i have win 7 64bits, I am looking for scangear, can some one help me?
I bought a new pc with Intel i3 2120 CPU, Asus P8B75-v mainboar and 8gb DDR3 2166mhz memory. I've installed windows 7 64bit but it's not starting after the fresh install. I tried starting the computer with onboard VGA but it's looping in restarts. After testing all the components, I managed to start the computer using a discret video card. It runs fine. When I switch to integrated GPU, the sistem enters the restarting loops. I've done some check up's in BIOS and selected video mode to AUTO or GPU but no succes. I installed the latest video driver for intel 2000hd but it;s still not starting with the onboard vga.
