Usb Wireless Adaptor To Connect External HD To Laptop?

I was wondering if there was a device I could plug into the male usb lead on my hard drive and connect it to my computer over wifi or through another usb dongle on my laptop, this would allow me to watch movies without having to go to where my HD is stored and moving them to my laptop manually. I have a lot of files on my external hard drive, it is not portable and it needs to be plugged into a wall socket so I cant just carry it around with my laptop. My hard drive is a western digital 1TB external hard drive and I am using windows 7.

Driver For Azurewave Gu210 Wireless Adaptor

I have just installed windows 7 on second partition, first partition being vista which works fine with the above adaptor. The vista driver gives an error message when trying to install on Windows 7. Nothing on azurewave website for drivers for Windows 7. Microsoft do not show it in the list of windows 7 compatible. Does anyone know where to get the driver for azurewave gu210 wireless adaptor.

Can't Find Network Adaptor After Hd Replacement

HD crashed on Dell Inspiron 580 desktop. Replaced with a new one. No back-ups discs available. Installed Windows 7 Starter from Notebook backup disc to boot it up.

Now it will not connect to the internet. Message is that it can't find a network adapter.

Is it because of the Starter version of Windows? Will installing a new copy of Home Premium fix it

Sony Vaio No Longer Recognizes Keyboard After Use Of Ps/2 To USB Adaptor?

Our Sony Vaio laptop has several user accounts on it. Today I got an older keyboard with a ps/2 connector at a garage sale and connected it to the vaio with a ps/2 to USB adaptor. It worked for a few minutes, then suddenly the (new) keyboard stopped being recognized. I unplugged the keyboard, and now the vaio laptop keyboard no longer works - it's not recognized. I tried the vaio keyboard troubleshooting software without success.The curious thing is that this problem only exists on this one user account. Other accounts on the vaio work fine and recognize the keyboard, so I've messed up only one account's settings somehow. Other than nuking that account (with lots of personal settings and customizing)

Belkin Or Retail Plus+ Wireless N USB Adaptor

Trying to install a Belkin Wireless or Retail Plus+ N USB Adapter, which the microsoft page says is compatible with Windows 7 (for the Belkin) and receiving an error basically saying the driver is not compatible with this operating system.

This is a brand new computer that came with Windows 7 installed and has 0 internet access right now....what can you suggest?

Also, I do have a wired internet access point in my house I can move it to, if there is something I need to download I can probably do this.

It's been hours, and I feel like I may have to take the whole thing back.

I would prefer to use the Retail Plus+ USB adapter for this system if given the choice, since the Belkin is in use on another computer in the house, but I'll take whatever is out there.

Will Not Run Off Ac Adaptor / Laptop Wont Run Off AC

the laptop wont run off AC theres a little light by the ac adaptor port that lights up when the charger is plugged in, win 7 also says "plugged in" and i believe even says charging when its plugged in (so it IS detecting the cord being plugged in) but it will not run off of the ac adaptor. i even tried starting the computer with JUST the AC adaptor (rather than pullin the battery while the machine is running)when i plug the machine in i also noticed the lightening bolt (battery?) light just blinks.the light does howeever stay solid once the machine is turned on.the machine will not charge period (machine on or off)will not run off the ac adaptor will only detect that the ac adaptor is plugged in, and thats all. any suggestions anyone? i cant think of anything but needing a new motherboard.

I had no problem finding my drivers on the ASUS website, except for the Wifi drivers.

I moved my computer to another room a couple of months ago, and the old room has since changed into something else.

Running an Ethernet cable along 50' isn't really an option.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS30E/W, on which I am running Windows 7.Some days ago, I have installed a new driver for the Sony Visual Communication Camera (Motion Eye) webcam and the device worked fine. However, today the device has stopped working (Code 43) and it now states that it is using the older version of the driver.Can anyone tell me where I can find the new driver files on my laptop, so I can manually locate them? I have installed them via DriverMax, so am not quite sure where the driver is located.
