I currently have the ATi card but found the 9800GT and a 9800GTX on ebay. Wanted to know if I would notice any graphic enhancements.
Currently I play Battlefield 2 but want to get into more games down the road after I upgrade some other parts of my system (Mobo & Ram).

Nov 2, 2009installed windows 7 the other day everything went fine . pc monitor conected using vga to vga i then conected my dvi to hdmi cable from my pc to my lcd tv in dual screen mode and eveything worked good . my desktop monitor was 1680x1050 and my tv was 1280x720 all good .
now only 4 days since it worked i had to format again and now i get no picture on my lcd tv everything is conected the same and all the same drivers etc but there is no picture. in the screen resolution control pannel i can see the two monitors my dell and my sony tv i can drag a page from my desktop over to my tv but i dont see nothing on the tv its self.

Oct 19, 2009i tried to install windows 7 32bit from a usb key, i got to the installation but i couldn't proceed because i got a message saying 512MB is the minimum required and i have 360MB.
i saw some people on the web installed it on 128Mb and less so i'm guessing there's a work around for this issue..

Jul 24, 2009Someone is giving me their older computer, with pretty unimpressive specs. The only thing I'm concerned about is the 512MB of memory. On the other hand, I'm only planning on using the computer to act as a torrent and backup "server."
Will I have any issues running Windows 7? How about 64-bit, which allegedly requires 2GB of memory minimum? If I can't run it, it's not a big deal, but I was hoping to have all my systems running Windows 7.

Feb 16, 2012I am running Windows 7 (x86) on a desktop and have 2 gigs of Corsair DDR2 RAM (800mhz) installed. I also have a spare 2 gigs of cheaper DDR2 RAM running at only 667mhz. If I add the extra RAM am I right in thinking the faster RAM will run at 667mhz? Is the performance boost of double RAM going to outweigh the loss in speed from 800mhz to 667mhz? Do you think it is worth adding the extra 2 gigs?

So 8gb in total.At first no problem, the motherboard recognize all 8gb with the Memory remap function 'on'The problem is that it recognizes it has PC-5300 and not PC-6400 (as it should cause they are)- So is there a way in the bios to make it that my motherboard recognize them has PC-6400 (800mhz) ? Other thing, Even though i am sure i bought exactly the same memory, in the sandra report, the 2 pairs are different.

Jul 7, 2012I have four identical 1GB sticks of G.Skill PC2-8500 memory, and I cannot seem to get Windows 7 to boot with all of them installed. I am using a ASUS Rampage Formula board in which I have successfully used 4GB of PC2-6400 memory in the past. I've done a BIOS update to the latest version and still Windows will not boot. I know the RAM sticks are good and I can use any of them in a 2 to 3GB configuration, and load Windows fine, but once 4GB installed it will hang at the loading screen and throw a quick BSOD (much to quick to read any info); then just restart.This is a 64-bit OS so I have no idea why this isn't working, but it's obviously a Windows side issue. The hardware is good and no BIOS settings affect the hang or crash.
Safe Mode does not work with 4GB installed either and I cannot seem to set any maximum memory settings using MSCONFIG. Windows also states that only 2.00GB is usable which isn't right either... I installed the OS several months ago with only 2GB installed, but I figured adding another 2GB, using identical modules, would work just fine. Jun 4, 2009I was having a problem with dual monitor using 7127 build. But only when I use newest NVIDIA drivers. My tv just flashes a few times, and I can see that fish a couple of times, but then it just goes to like no signal. If I use default drivers which are installed on windows install, then it works fine, but then I dont have NVIDIA control panel and some other features.
My video card is GF 8800GTS 650M 512MB DDR3 DUAL DVI TV PCIE. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem and If it has been fixed in the newest build, so I could be arsed to do a clean install.

Jan 7, 2013Okay so, my laptop's system is unable to boot, so I just tried to format it since I have to do that for a very long time, and when it asked me in which partition I want to install windows there was nothing, although when I clicked "Load Driver" I could access the hard disk's files, the hard disk IS listed in the bios normally but windows does not recognize it, I tried using Kaspersky Rescue disk(the only CD I had along with the recovery disk)and when I used the File Manager, the hard disk still didn't show, are there any drivers I have to install?I have burned both fujitsu9that's my laptop) and Seagate's websites and can't find anything, I have searched forums but the only answers were "check if your hd is listen in bios".So, i IS listed in bios but I can't reinstall windows nor access it

Sep 22, 2012I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens.
