Windows 7 Won't Open Email Outlook Through Pdf Form
Aug 9, 2011
I have created an adobe form using acrobat pro x. It has an email submit button. When you click on it up comes the window for your email (Outlook) and then it automatically sends your form to "Joe". We currently have it on our intranet for all users to be able to access. If the user has Windows 7, the form will send without outlook opening, but if you have XP, it will open up Outlook and then the user hits 'send'.
I am using Outlook 10 and windows 7, but others have XP and Outlook 7 and they do not have the same issue, only windows 7 users
When I click to open the outlook on my windows 7 operating system it says loading profile for ages then and error message appears with "Can't open your default email folders. Express can't open. Your server may be down for maintenance."
When attempting to Forward an email, Outlook will open a recent message from the Sent Items folder, instead of opening the desired message in draft view to be forwarded. The message that Outlook decides to open is not related to the desired email thread.I have:
-Run the Microsoft Office Repair; -Removed and re-installed MS Office; -Run ScanPst on all Archives; -Disabled cached exchange mode, cleared the cache, re-enabled; -Removed additional personal IMAP email accounts from Outlook.
This PC is a Dell Optiplex 755 Small Form Factor with Core 2 Duo and 2GB RAM.About a month ago the Hard Drive was predicted to fail, so I created a Windows Image from the Windows backup utility, swapped in a new hard drive, and applied the Image.I tried searching the issue, but Google could not provide any help on such an obscure issue but with terms common to other problems.
My site is working properly, but lately I added a form to inter act with my clients but it seems that it does not work with people that have live mail set on their laptop with windows 7. Every time the click the submit button on my form, live mail starts & opens a new mail window instead of sending the form contents directly to my e-mail address. I am sure that my code is 100% correct in defining the form.
I have Windows 7 64-bit pro with Outlook 2010 installed on a Dell laptop. Is there a way to configure Outlook email to sync with my work email? Activesync works perfectly on my phone so that portion of the network is open at my work. I have been doing some reaserch and in order to get Outlook to sync with Exchange Server without VPN, RPC over HTTP or Outlook Anywhere must be enabled on the network. I know for a fact that our IT department have that portion disabled.
I have a new Dell Inspiron 14Z running windows 7 pro 64bit and i'm using Microsoft office 2010. I'm trying to retrieve archived emails that i backed up on an external hard drive from a previous computer, the files are .pst which is an outlook format but i keep on getting an error message saying the file is not an Outlook data file (.pst). i dont have any other way to retrieve these emails since they were deleted from the server and its about 1.5 years of work emails. Not sure what to do? should i move the files from the external driver to a different location on the computer and open them, or are they corrupted and need to be fixed?
I can get the pix attached to an email in outlook 2010, but it won't let me mail them. says they are unsafeThey are my pix and never been anywhere to get corrupted. How do I get past this problem?
trying to reinstall a old outlook email program on a new windows 7 machine ,I copied all files on computer before I renstalled the OS 7 operating system but didn't know about outlook export program,so all I have are what I coied in the windows mail folder not sure if this will retrieve email account, the account is on anther computer still up and going?
I have bought a new computer with Windows 7 preinstalled. Before setting it up I backed up all my outstanding emails (204 .dbx files) and email addresses (one .wab file size 176kb) from my old computer on to a memory stick. I now want to import them into Windows Live Mail. I have gone through the recommended procedure for the emails, but only some of them have come across. I have been totally unable to import the addresses. The only procedures I have found seem to relate to a different version of Live Mail because they tell me to click on things that don't appear on my screen! It occurs to me that maybe not all the messages are being imported because I haven't imported the relevant contact details. Could this be the case? By the way I can't go back to the old computer as it has completely died, which is why I replaced it.
I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I was forced to by a new cpu and have taken my old C: drive and hooked it up as a slave. Now I need to get the old emails to windows live messenger.
I also ordered another motherboard for the old computer and will at some point attempt to put the slave back in and hope it boots up normal so I may be able to work this that way.
I can't even find the outlook express emails, and Im not even sure if I could read them if I could find them. also, as most of you know, there is no outlook express for windows 7, so I don't know how common this problem is, but I can't find much that helps.
There are some forms that I fill out on line that when I hit the send button on the form it tries to open and send it via outlook but I don't use outlook. I may be using g mail or yahoo or some other provider for my e-mail. Is there a way to change that? Normal e-mail works fine, it's only when I try to respond to a form on the internet, and not all forms do it.
I clicked on a link from what I thought was a relaible souce, only to discover that once I clicked on it, all my contacts were sent the same email , obviously anyone who saw who the mail was from would assume it was me and if they clicked on the link the same would happen to them and so and so. how I can get rid of this bug as everytime I add a new contact the process is started all over again. I have done various deep scans using Norton and AVG but they find nothing.
I'm coming from XP (yeah, I'm late to the party) and looking for an email client that isn't too much different in feel from Outlook Express. Windows Live Mail ain't it. Thunderbird looks like a maybe, but there must be better.
Will all my current rules apply to the mail I receive at present from different people after they have updated there info with my new address? Or will I have to delete the rules and start again as and when I receive the mails? I am thinking probably the latter will apply though.
