View 1 RepliesI use Outlook 2010 to process several email accounts. I noticed a few days ago that a couple of the email accounts had vanished from the list. I also noticed that one still present was not sending or receiving. I tried re-entering the password and when that didn't work I deleted and re-entered the account. It tests fine but the test message never shows up in my Outlook inbox. It does show up immediately on my phone when I check my mail there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner. They both use the same computer.hen the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it.Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly. His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 64-bit pro with Outlook 2010 installed on a Dell laptop. Is there a way to configure Outlook email to sync with my work email? Activesync works perfectly on my phone so that portion of the network is open at my work. I have been doing some reaserch and in order to get Outlook to sync with Exchange Server without VPN, RPC over HTTP or Outlook Anywhere must be enabled on the network. I know for a fact that our IT department have that portion disabled.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a way to use 'voice' in my email. We use Outlook 2010 if that helps. Instead of typing out a long email, I would like to 'say' it, then attach it to an email. Another route would be to record what I have to say and send an email with a link to the audio. This will help with upload/download of the emails. I know I could just use 'sound recorder' or Audacity, then attach it to my email, but I need something less 'techy' for a member of staff that is just a point and click type of person.

And i'm having <rx> Mail queued for delivery. on outlook log.I tried it with another computer with same setup, same email account, same email, same recipients and number of recipients. 1 BCC entry went through and was received ok and i was also able to send with 3 or more BCC entry and email was received properly.

View 7 Replies View Relatedhave researched this problem and found the remedy to make the browser and mail programs the defaults in the Control Panel>Default Programs.I have Windows 7 Professional and Windows Live Mail. I also went to the Options windows of Windows Live Mail to insure that it was set as the default. I then went to the Internet Explorer Internet Options window and found that "Internet Explorer (64-bit) cannot be the default browser."I know about using IE 32-bit - I have had to use it for some websitesWhat is the point of have 64-bit if it isn't usable in all situations?? I haven't noticed any difference between the 64-bit version and the 32-bit version. What is it??I guess I need to figure out how to have my internet connection icon open the 32-bit version instead of the 64-bit version.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just had Windows 7 put on my computer but have not purchased the copy of my Premium Home Edition yet. I have 3 more weeks and I don't know if THAT is my problem which is;
I've seen earlier posts about this quirk that MS should have never let out of the barn. I've found some "solutions" on these forums but when I go to change settings in the default menus, it doesn't "save".
I'm referring to changing default in INT Explorer. Some posters refer to IE8 but mine only says Internet Explorer. My computer guy also has me set up for Google with Google toolbar which comes up when I select the Internet Icon. I would rather have the good old Internet Explorer page come up and type Google into the address bar as I need it vs. Google everything.
I only have 3 buttons OK CANCEL HELP
after I make my adjustments. So I hit OK, but it doesn't save as I will recheck it after each time I try. I do NOT have an apply button which I find strange.
ALSO, for some reason after hopping around on websites or Internet, I can't open my Outlook Express to check email. The Icon just kind of "glows" when I click on it and there is no right click options other than to "unpin" it from the menu bar.
I have to restart/reboot to be able to get back into Outlook to get my email again.
I have been unable to forward or send emails for several days. I can receive and that's it.
The only error message I receive is "A problem has occurred, please try again".
That's it.
Suddenly I cannot send or receive mail with Outlook or Live Mail.
Account seetings are ok.My laptop has the same settings
and no problems.
With outlook I get error 0X800421008 and...9
With Live mail: 0x800CCC0E
Have Zonealarm and NOD32. Disabling does not help.
I installed Win 7 yesterday and at first I could send and receive.
I'm using IE8 and Windows live mail both set as default apps. I'm running ultimate 64 bit. Here's the thing: I press "alt" key to bring up file menu. Under file I choose "Send". The "send link by email" and "send page by email" are greyed out. IE8 is set to my default browser and Windows live mail is set as default for my mail client. This occurs on both the 32 and 64 bit browser..
