I've Just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit from my friend's disk. But after few days windows started updating...after that I always get a message at the starting: This copy of Windows is not Genuine and at the bottom right corner it is written that:Windows 7 Build 7600 This copy of Windows is not Genuine (too bad i cannot set a wallpaper ) (removed by Cookiegal)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had windows vista 32 bit earlier. Then I got windows 7 professional upgrade in trial period. I didn't notice how it happened. Of course it must be my mistake. Now when i boot from windows 7 it shows 64 bit and in vista it shows 32 bit. The system asks before booting which one to choose. It's today only that I have installed but I am not facing any problem as such except that i need a product key within 30 days. Should i leave as it is or uninstall vista somehow. Would i be able to reboot my system using the 32 bit vista CD?

I had to re install so I used the key that is on the sticker under the laptop but after installation I got the message that it wasn't the right key. So i followed the prompts that led me to a phone call to activate by giving a bunch of numbers that were sent to Microsoft and it still says invalid key. Their is no OEM key that I can find and I cant get recovery to come up. I have a copy of a Win 7 Home that I used to install but its not the original. Is their a way to use the original key somehow?

The program is still running and stuck at 21% but after waiting 3 hours I shut power off and Vista was reinstated. Why can't I get past 21% Expanding Windows files? I have an Acer laptop 4551, got hit by nasty viruses and on top no restore intact.
I formatted the hard drive which gave me an error 83% and stopped. Today I turned on laptop to install fresh genuine Windows 7, I popped in the DVD and done everything in BIOS selected Boot from CD. Everything was Ok I hit enter to Continue then comes the Windows 7 logo and after that a blank black screen with Cursor, that's it! I done that some 5/6 times but no luck.
