Why Won't Games Load On Windows 7

I have nevosoft games that worked when i installed them last year. did not play for a while and now will only give loading errors, tried changing compatibility to xp, vista etc to no avail. win 7 troubleshooting was to switch comapitlilty and then 2nd was user verify solution - veryify_no??? Publisher details and other notes were package version 1 and 1.5 not sure what that is. The error that pops up is as follows: Loading error: can't loadn delete.par Incompatible application I also found this: program+compatible+app+app+app+app+game+game+legacy+crash+crash+hangs+hangs

i cant get pop up games to load since the new window update on the 14th window pop up but then its just shows done its just a white screen now im getting all kinds of screen errors

i have been playing Open Beta-free-to-play, browser-based games with no problems until the other night i turned off the computer and it down loaded windows updates .Now no beta games will load and run on my laptop they just freeze the browser and all tabs open i have to shut them down using the small box at the bottom.it must be something to do with the downloads as i have another computer that they will load on but this is too old and slow to run them on.

I purchased a system with dual GTX580's about a year and a half ago. I have had issues with system crashes (lockups, no blue screen, and no alt-tabbing out of them) almost from the beginning. Since I am impressed with some of the technical responses I have seen on threads in this forum, thought I'd reach out for help before I pull what hair I have left out.....
I tried literally every different bios update available, every single driver release Nvidia has released, too many clean windows installs to count, MSI Afterburner/EVGA Precision (video voltage increases, clock decreases (removing EVGA superclocking), replaced the SLI bridge, different ram, different powersupply cables, different fan speeds, and so many other things over the past 1.5 years it's rediculous.
In preparation for trashing the cards, I pulled them out and put my old cards back in. These are also EVGA brand, 8800's, also can run them in SLI with the same bridge, and not a single problem. This is while running the same driver release (clean install though) as the 580's.
So I put one 580 back in, both slots 1 & 3, and to my surprise it worked just fine in either PCI slot. Tried the other 580, also works fine when alone. Put them both in, put the bridge on, and it crashes right after Bios loads, before it even makes it to the windows logo/login screen.
Seems to have gotten worse over time (was just during intense gaming, next it's when in windows but not gaiming, sometimes at the Windows loading Logo, and sometimes even at bios load.)
Overheating? Temps are fine..even when stress testing with Kombuster/Furmark/Prime95/MEMTest/etc. temps get warm, up to 85 on CPU cores, and 75 on video card, but all tests are fine.

I can access [URL], but most games will not load. This has been happening for over a week. I have latest version of java, use google chrome, 32 bit windows starter on a HP netbook. But wont work on my laptop either.

After installing W7 SP1 x64 through automatic updates, none of my games (CS: GO in Steam, Heroes of Newerth) will load. The first time I encountered this problem, I decided to format my SSD but the same issue again after installing SP1. Thinking it might be a video driver issue I've tried installing an older driver but the same thing happens. I decided to uninstall SP1 and all my games are working again.
I never had this issue when running on a HDD. I just installed a new SSD a couple of days ago, doing a clean install of OS.

I dont know if this is posted in the right area but I'm so desperate to get my laptop working its unreal. First it started off with my laptop crashing, I had totally forgot it needed to do a windows update and turned off my laptop in hopes that it would work properly. After that my laptop has not been working. The machine turns on and gives me two options. Start windows normally or do a repair. Upon starting windows normally, it loads so far before sending me back to the two options of start windows normally or repair. On the second time I clicked repair. My laptop then goes so far before presenting me with a blue screen that is usually the screen where my accounts are. The cursor still moves but it loads no further even after leaving it an hour. I decided to make a repair disk, hoping that the problem was because of windows. the disk loads, gives me a choice on the keyboard language then does nothing. I honestly have no idea what to do, I want to keep all the files safe on my computer as I havent backed them up and I have worked so hard on the projects.

Im having a couple problems with my computer, firstly when i boot up The icon for the LAN onnection has a red cross to say its not connected even though it is and it will recognise that it is after approx. 5 minutes and will only say network instead of the actual name if my connection (network99) secondly when i log on from booting up the desktop take a while to load and all the icon thumbnails load slowly one at a time and its really slow.

The autostart function is not working properly. When introduced a CD Rom into the drive, it has all the autostart functions for movies, pics, documents, but instead of starting the games directly, It allways ask me to open the file, movies or pics, but the game never starts automatically as It used to do in the past Windows versions, and in Windows 7 BEFORE SP1. It's imposible to play games that require the insertion of the disc into the CD Rom Drive, for the same reason.Im running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have a LG Super Multi RwDVD +R DL Light scribe multirecorder.

ok so i have a problem thats been driving me insane. my toshiba F50 was working totally fine until suddenly during games my GPU started overheating quickly during games (Was not doing this before) i noticed that my fan didnt seem to be spinning as fast as before. i cleaned it still no avail, tried riva tuner and ntune and all of that jazz and all of them have the fan control options greyed out? (cannot use them)i noticed that when i start the laptop the POST test on the fans guns the fan to 100% speed so i know its capable of doing it. it seems like the fan doesnt know to speed up when it gets hot and it keeps shutting my system down and i reallllly dont feel like damaging my GPU. i tried rolling back my drivers and running the latest drivers.

When I click on games in my start menu only the games on my c drive show. I ran out of space on the c drive practically the day I bought it (SSD), so now I install games to my D drive. I tried dragging the .exe start file over to the games window and it did copy the icon over but I get a message that the game has stopped working when I click it, followed by automatic error reporting to Microsoft after.

my daughter has a two year old Toshiba Satellite laptop, AMD, Windows 7 64 bit. (I don't know all the specs to her machine) Windows will not load.Gives me two options at start up, normal or Repair start up, I have tried.both, normal brings me back to the same menu, so then I check repair, itruns through to the windows loading, then goes to a blank screen with the cursor.When she got this pc I created 4 recovery discs from the start menu the.4th one I have labelled Recovery Environment 64 bit. the thing is, after some usual Microsoft updates on my Windows 7 Home premium, it refuses to load, stuck at "windows loading" right after bios loads, i have to shut down the PC and restart, and it loads, but then it installs the updates again, and the same thing happens, how do i solve this

windows 7 32| installed by the manufacturer so I don't have any discs to reload it..I'm sending this on my mac because I cannot start windows on my laptop Yesterday it went into some sort of thing where I tried to restore it the way it came from the manufacturer but it's in some sort of loop.I started in SAFE mode and used the restore setting but now it starts trying to load but I get this error message: "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error, windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows click OK to restart then restart the installation"... [setup is preparing your computer for first use]

I have tried 5 times to load Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and each time it fails. I have made sure there is enough disk space, updated the drivers & run cCleaner registry check - all to no avail.I have also explored the Microsoft suggestions for the failure to load. It would appear that it might be caused by the Background Intelligent Transfer Service as this doesn't start. It won't start if you access it manually through the control panel either.

my computer its not loading it just stopped. I tried the doing the factory default recovery it went through the process but their was an error and could not complete it said to turn off the computer. My Windows 7 DVD will not load on my PC. My DVD drive is fine (it will read or load any other DVD that I care to throw at it)
My disc is OK as it can be read on any other PC that I care to put it in.
The PC that I am trying to load it on to is running Vista Home Premium at the moment.

I'm in the process of acquiring the parts to build a new PC and was kicking around the idea of how I want to load windows 7, my programs and files and such? I was thinking about buying two different hard drives, one smaller one (250GB or smaller) and one bigger (maybe 2TB). I would use the smaller hard drive to only load the operating system on and the other hard drive would be used to load all my programs, files, emails and such on.I'm thinking that by having the OS only on one drive it would be easier to recover from should I have another hard drive failure on the drive the OS is loaded on. Same for the programs, files etc.. should that disk develop a problem down the road it would make it much easier to recover from if everything was on a separate disk than the OS?I eventually plan on building a small server for my home network that would be used to run a network that consists of 1 server, 2 Pc's , 1 laptop, 2 Netbooks, several smart phones and 1 centralized laser printer that everyone can print from.

My computer i tried changing the boot drive to my ssd but decided not to mess with it till windows 8 because i dont have the time to reinstall all my stuff right now and now HDD is showing when i boot my computer up to pick to load either Win 7 or Win 7 and the top one will not work it says its corrupted but the bottom works perfectly fine any ideas on how i could get rid of the corrupted one?
