Jan 17, 2013ive reinstalled Windows 7 Premium, but i can't find wirelless connection. So when i go to Computer/Device manager i can see That i missing some drivers for Network Controller and PCI Simple communications controllers. So i supose this is it what i need to be able to acess wireless connections. So ive searched for those drivers like a 2 hours but couldnt find it on internet.like it used to be! Ive changed resolution to max , but still resolution is kinda of cheap , like to much brightness , i dunno it just seems that is not like it used to be before! Ive googled about this and maybe im missing video drivers?

Apr 29, 2012I use my tosh laptop for looking at netflix on my two TV.One is a LG other is a Sammy. Since I have had the laptop about 4 to 6 weeks it has (HDMI out) worked on both tvs no problem! The last week The LG just will not recognise the signal Like the Samsung works ok no probs there... The LG do no matter what HDMI port I use nada (No signal is what it says) there are 4 HDMI ports and none are working, I have tried about 5 different HDMI cables and still nothing?

I went to plug a usb hub into it and thats when it stopped working . it is on the right side where there are 2 ports. the one on the left side still works but this is annoying that I am always having to use a hub for everything and it slows things down . I love this laptop for it is the only one out there that I found that has a lock for the touchpad.

Apr 30, 2012I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6965. I have an issue with my keyboard and trackpad not working after windows loads. Keyboard will work in BIOS but when windows loads it stops working and isn't even in Device manager unless the PS/2 keyboard is the keyboard on this laptop (not sure). I've tried taking battery out and holding the power button for 5-15 secs then booting back up with out success. I've tried putting the BIOS to default settings with out success. I've tried looking for the drivers but there seems to be nothing for the keyboard and the trackpad drivers are downloaded and installed but still doesn't show up in device manager nor work.
Everything that has happened up to this point

Downloaded Game Booster
Took laptop to my dad house turned it on keyboard and trackpad stopped working
If the trackpad isn't hooked up with the keyboard not work as well? I noticed a wire bent on the trackpad ribbion tried to fix it fell off. But even after it fell off trackpad and keyboard worked. What all can cause the keyboard and trackpad to stop working?

Jan 3, 2010I recently installed windows 7 on my toshiba qosmio f25-av205 with a the geforce go 6600 graphic card and I tried to attach a 2nd monitor to the laptop (sceptre 22") but the 2nd monitor does not display anything when connected and remains black and in standby mode. If I restart the computer with the 2nd monitor plugged in, the laptop's primary screen goes black and the 2nd monitor then displays the regular windows screen.
When i go to the nvidia control panel, it recognizes that two monitors are available and it will even show that the two monitors are on duplicate screen or extended screen, however only one monitor will actually be working.
I've updated my nvidia driver first by using windows update, then by getting updated drivers from laptopvideo2go, but none of the drivers i've used seem to give me two screens working at the same time.
I've tried pressing the windows symbol+p, and it will show that the screens should be duplicated or extended, but only one screen will work. Once the 2nd monitor is working I cannot get the main laptop screen working until I unplug the 2nd monitor and restart my computer.

Feb 12, 2013I was playing League of Legends when this happened and when the game loaded into the world the mouse just stopped responding and never kicked back on. I've restarted the computer, pulled the battery for a few minutes, turned legacy usb on/off, right click and uninstalled all universal USB controllers (then restarted to get windows to reinstall them), tried different mice on the problem computer, tried the mouse on a different computer (it worked), pretty much every solution i've found on the internet so far from people with similar issues of usb mice/keyboards suddenly stopping and never coming back using windows 7.I'm actually going to go to toshiba's website and check if they have any drivers that I could download/update.
