Toshiba Card Reader Not Functioning - Can't Find Driver
Jul 26, 2010
I just recently changed / did format my OS from Vista to Windows 7. All drivers were working in Vista but When I had WIndows 7, My audio driver and Built in SD card/flash reader is not functioning. I was able to find the realtek driver for windows 7 for the audio problem and it worked fine. Now my SD/flash card reader is still not functioning.I tried to use automatic search using windows for the driver but I was not able to find it.I have Toshiba Satellite Pro M200 (core duo, 2G RAM, 32Bit)
I own Sony Vaio VGN CR123E.I've formated my computer which came with vista and installed 7, but I found some problems with drivers:Card reader isn't working, It seems I cannot find proper drivers. I had some before reformating but It wasn't working with 0.5G and 2G SD card, but It did work with my 1G card. I need help to find proper drivers for it.USB is working much slower than in vista/linuxIntegrated webcamera isn't working.
I have a "SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash" 4GB card and an internal card reader (HP desktop). When I insert the card into the reader, the green light above the slot turns on as if it recognizes the device, but it doesn't show up. Device Manager says that the driver is installed and working properly, and I have uninstalled it,reinstalled it, and restarted my computer. A system restore isn't really an option because it isn't my computer.
I have/had a HP Pavilion P6510f and the mobo died. I replaced it with a Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H and now I can't get my internal card reader to be recognized. It's a 5 pin and I have plugged it into the empty FUSB slot and still not being recognized. In device manager, it doesn't show and the only issue is an ethernet card.I can't seem to figure out what to do to get it to work...
I have an Acer Aspire 5051 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit... all drivers are installed apart from the 5-in-1 xD Card Reader...now I know theres a 64-Bit driver somewhere cos I had it on 64-Bit vista sometime ago.... I just never kept track of it?
i bought a multi card reader and tried using it on Winodws 64-bit sony vaio laptop but it does not work.which provided the driver software for windows 7 64-bit. It worked for me.
I have a 3.5" slot reader setup that after 2 years still wont load drivers. Supposedly this is a windows 7 PnP item but its never worked. EVERY tech I've ever talked to says its PnP so I replaced it with a new item thinking that'd fix it. Same thing. No update from the MOBO driver site either.
Up until now I've never used the SD Card reader in my laptop, but now I want to use it however it's not showing up under My Computer. I have downloaded the 'MS Hotfix MemoryCard' listed under Software (which only appears for WinXP) here: Support for NP-R519
But when I try to install (Running as Administrator), the command prompt flashes for a second then nothing happens. I've tried restarting anyway in case it had installed but my SD card is still not recognised. I've also tried running in compatibility mode with WinXP SP2 and Vista SP2 - no luck.
This card reader apparently is SDHC compatible, but my card is only 2GB anyway so its 100% compatible. I've done a google search and it seems a lot of people have problems with this one particular device/driver.
Also I've looked under Device Manager but I'm not sure where it would be listed, though I'm confident its actually not listed at all.
So what should I try next? I'd rather get it working than have to buy an adapter.
I am having trouble installing a card reader driver on my Acer Aspire 5050.The memory card reader is ENE CB714 Cardbus/MediaReader Controller. The ENE Technology website has no links or downloads for their drivers. After clicking Extract Here, there are no 'instructions'. I cannot seem to 'unzip the files. There is also no 'install file' that shows up. I have followed the steps and they are simply not working.I am trying to use my Sony CyberShot camera in my USB ports. I have gone to the Sony website and there was a driver available that would not install.I have tried a lot of methods and cannot seem to get this working!how I can download and install this driver?
Notebook model no : VGN-FZ24OE..After installing windows 7 the SD card reader slot is not working.Plz give me the link to download the SD card reader driver...
I just upgrade my comp.to windows 7 evrything it's working fine but the mass storage controller no drivers for it.Some one told me that the driver for win. vista were compatible with win.7 I try to load it but the comp don't let me.It said no compatible. It's anyone out there with the same problem?
I have a Toshiba A200 2B7, with Windows 7 32 bit OS. The problem is the SD card reader doesn't work, I suspect it's because of the driver and I can't get its driver. I've tried the official website of Toshiba but I can't seem to find it.
I am not really good with computers, I know something is wrong but not really sure how to fix it, I use Windows 7 Ultimate with a dedicated graphics card 2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 7970M and a intergrated graphics card Intel HD Graphics 4000 installed in my laptop, I used to be able to play Total War Shogun 2 (and other games) with my AMD Radeon Graphics Card, but for some reason my laptop decides to run on my Intel HD Graphics 4000 instead now. With my little knowledge that I have, when I go to device manager -> display adaptors, I can see both AMD Radeon 7970M and Intel HD Graphics 4000 there and my laptop shows that both graphics card are functioning properly (and up to date). But when I go to DxDiag, it only shows the Intel HD Graphics 4000, and when I disable my Intel HD Graphics 4000, my laptop cannot detect any graphics card.
I am running a Windows 7 x64 OS. My problem is that my CD/DVD reader reads CDs fine but when I insert a DVD, it makes weird sounds and doesn't detect the DVD at all. I already checked for that filters thing in Registry Edit but I had no filters. All drivers are up to date. Device Manager says that the Reader works fine.
