View 7 RepliesFor a last few weeks while playing some games i get my games run normaly on 60 fps for 15-20minutes, and than stuttering starts. It happens every 2 minutes, my fps goes down to 5-8, and it stays like that for 10 seconds, and than after 2 minutes again the same thing.
Also tryed SpeedFan and got these results(While playing APB relaoded):

i am running window 7 home premium 64 bit on my hp probook 4530s recently hp did all of the bios an other updatto my laptop and now whenever i watch a video, listen to music or try to play a game it stutters i've tried updating an downgrading my graphic card driver my sound card the video card is a intel HD graphics 3000.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy desktop keeps stuttering every few minutes or so. I have all of the drivers up to date and I cannot figure out what is wrong. The problem occurs the most while watching Netflix and playing games, but happens pretty regularly in general.
Specs:
Core i7 2600k
Asus p8p67 deluxe
Asus Engtx 570
Corsair 8 gb 1600 mhz ram
I have done a fresh install with hopes of it possibly being a driver error but I believe it may be an hardware issue as I just had another BSOD while playing a game. On a side note this is usually when I get the BSOD either playing a game or trying to livestream, which leaves me to believe it maybe is a RAM/GPU error.
Anyways I've attached the required rar/zip files from that program I ran from how to post BSOD thread
how to play videos and games in full screen I have bought a new lenovo g580 Os window 7
the problem is any kind of videos and games are not opeing in Full Screen, It's has Intel HD 4000 Graphics
my laptop started crashing every time i play games and watch videos on player.
Code: Windows 7 Ultimate x32 OEM I reformatted it a month ago so i thought it would be fix but its still not fixed... I also thought it would be the heat or the usage of memory but i still haven't found what the problem is i keep getting random BSOD's about usbport.sys and other but i get more error codes....
basically my old 6870 card died because of numerous BSODs it had over the 6 months throunh flash videos and it killed it with artifacts. I have recently received a brand new XFX 6870 and have been using it over a month and its been happening again with flash videos as occasionally get BSOD randomly like 30 mins or even over an hour. which is pointing out Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR file path: C:Windowssystem32driversatikmpag.sys
and
Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
file path: C:Windowssystem32driversdxgkrnl.sys
its even happened once last night on a game FIFA 12 which restarted and had this error
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: C:Windowssystem32
toskrnl.exe
How will I be able to eliminate these problems? my system specs are below and I have built this system over 8 months and nothing is overclocked.
Just installed Windows 7. and everytime i start up a game (like left 4 dead)
all screens go black(like when they do when you set a other resolution) and back to normal resolution. when game resolution isn't different from the desktop resolution. and cause i ussually have a series running on one of my other monitors i can't see them cause well desktop thinks it not on its desktop resolution(or for what ever other reason it is that video won't show on second monitor if there is a game up on your main monitor that is not on ur normal desktop resolution).
this doesn't happen with every game though and can't really figure it out. if u need any info, or have no idea what i'm talking about(don't really know how to explain this very wel) post for more details.
Whenever I go to a webpage and try to play games, view videos, or streaming content my system "freezes" every minute or two. I can never watch a video or play a game in its entirety without having to sit through numerous "freezes", or whatever it is. The little spinning icon just keeps going round and round.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe problem is that I will get a system lock up, or freeze when playing games like Portal 2 or FM2012. The freezes are very random however they occur the most when trying to play Co-op in Portal 2 (say about 80% of the time when trying to play it). However with the likes of FM2012 or other games, I can literally play for hours on end without a crash, but other times a crash could happen within about 5 mins.I also seem to randomly crash if I watch a HD video in full screen (1920x1080) however I cannot recall such a problem watching it minimized (using VLC). I also used to get random crashes while browsing the internet on certain websites, however I haven't had this issue since upgrading my RAM.
When the PC does crash, the monitor will just black out and if sound was playing at the time it will usually loop or repeat. The only thing I can do is a hard reboot and upon restarting the PC it will say about the unexpected shut down and to start windows normally however I don't seem to get any minidumps. I've had this problem now for quite awhile, and at first it was something I just overlooked as a random occurance but now its starting to drive me crazy! My system specs are as follows:[CODE]
I upgraded my graphics card driver 2-3 days ago with no problems until today when my laptop crashed couple of times when I was playing LeagueOfLegends, and again when playing a video (using VLC). When I disable my graphics card driver all is fine, but when I play a game with the graphics card enabled I get a blue screen.
View 9 Replies View RelatedLooking for ways to solve stuttering while listening to streaming audio, discovered that when stuttering occurred, System CPU usage was above 20%. At 20 or below, no stutter, although DPC Latency Checker might show latency around 150-200.Checked all drivers, etc, as suggested by DPC info box. Finally, tried stopping all services related to WD. Western Digital's file management software seems to be the problem. I did stop every one of them and have had not stutter for approaching half an hour. Stuttering was occurring every minute or so, lasting a moment, or several. This may not be the only problem, but so far so good.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I play audio or video files located on my NAS (Q-NAP DS-210) in Mediaplayer (on my mediacenter) and streams the media over DLNA (Twonky) the audio / video stutters annoyingly. My Mediacenter pc is running windows 7 64 bit Professional edition. It is connected to my Q-Nap DS210 NAS server through a 1Gb ethernet network. View 1 Replies View Related360 slim, plays my mt2s files great, but I have these mp4 movies that when I start them (in the videos area, as movies section locks up the 360), they play for a few seconds, then black screen, and then audio for 30 seconds or so, then that starts to stutter. Sometimes I can play it, and if I FF to 1-1.5 minutes, it sometimes works. These are my blue ray rips.[CODE]

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3ghz
4GB of RAM
Windows 7 64-Bit OS
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+
I also run Dual Monitors, the monitors are the exact same model (which i do not have with me currently and don't think would matter, if needed i can get it)
(If need any more info let me know, I'll reply with it asap)
Now for the problem...
I have been using Windows 7 64-bit without a single problem on this machine since Windows 7 was released. Ever since then I have had no problems doing, well really anything until about 2 weeks ago. I usually play video games on my main screen whilst watching movies/streaming tv on the 2nd screen. The stuttering is constant when watching streaming videos in full screen mode, even when doing absolutely nothing else on my computer. If the video is not in full screen mode it plays fine. If I pop the streaming video out of the browser and F11 it to make it full screen that way it does not stutter at all this way either. I do not believe it to be a bandwidth/internet connection issue though as I also encounter problems when watching movies from my hard drive. The movies from hard drive issue is not exactly the same though. When watching a movie from my hard drive and playing a game the audio and video will skip about half a second every 4-5 seconds instead of a constant stutter. However if I am not playing a game or doing anything else on my computer the videos will play fine. I have updated my video card drivers and the audio drivers as well as bios on my computer but am still having the same issue.
I have a laptop running windows 7, connected to an external hard drive. I keep all of my .avi files on the external hard drive. I have set up sharing with the xbox - it picks up files in the following folders:
Downloads
Public Videos
Recorded TV
Videos in these folders can be played on the xbox. However, it doesn't pick up any of the shared folders in the external hard drive (G:Movies etc). The files on the external drive have been added to the WMP library and show up there no problem, and I have manually set the folders to be shared.
on my computer there are two accounts- an administrator and a standard account. everything works fine on the admin account, but the standard account is having some video problems. i can view Internet fine, but if i want to watch other streamed videos it won't let me. all i get is a black square where the player is or the black box with an 'x' in the corner. it also sometimes won't let me listen to streamed songs.
i got this windows 7 computer last year and i have had these problems from day one. every site i go to just talks about looking if there are parental controls on your account. i have checked and there are no controls placed on the standard account. there really isn't any difference between the two accounts except that one is called admin and the other is a normal account. i just tried to switch my standard account to an admin one and i still couldn't get the videos to work.

I recently had lots of bsod. At the beginning, it was only when I was playing Deus Ex so I supposed it was because of the graphic card that was too hot, but it's now happening for no reason. Actually, the last ones I got happened when I was just watching streaming videos. On Vimeo I think, but I don't believe it comes from the website. Is it possible that the graphic card reacts weirdly and makes my computer crash when I'm only using it to read videos on internet ? I'm not even sure this is the reason why it crashed. I watch lots of videos. It seems that this is all kind of BSODs. Last week, I had two irql_not_less_or_equal involving disk.sys andfilesys.dll. Today I had two other BSODs, notably one system service exception involving fltmgr.
In addition to that, my Windows doesn't save the minidumps anymore. The last one I got are from 9/14. I can send those to you if you want to, even though I'm not sure it's really useful since they are kind of outdated.I have Windows Ultimate x64 SP2, I mounted (is that the correct word ?) the computer myself approximatively one year and a half ago and didn't have any issue for a long time, I believe Windows 7 was the only OS on this computer and I don't recall re-installing it, but I'm not really sure, is there any way to verify this in the system ?
everytime i watch any online video the stream locks up on an arbitrary time (usually within a few seconds, but sometimes well into the video). refreshing the screen sometimes works, but more often than not, the video locks up at the exact same place. i've tried updating my video drivers. i've ran every scan i can think of, updated my flash player, cleaned my registry and i am totally at a loss as to why i'm having this issue. this issue happens with the vast majority of web videos i watch from netflix, hulu, Internet, you name it. this issue happens in ie and firefox. i have the latest versions of each. it was happening with previous versions as well.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Windows Home Server with a lot of movies on it and until now I have only watched them locally at home. I wanted to find out though how you can stream them whenever you are outside of your home network, just on public Wifi or something like that.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi recently bought a "hp pavilion g series" laptop. the problem is that whenever i stream music or videos from my music file or from Internet, it always makes a buzzing sound.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAcer ASPIRE M3802 (details to follow) starts making buzzing noises while I am playing videos, especially when buffering multiple videos at a time e.g. in multiple tabs of browser. This starts happening at irregular intervals, sometimes just after 10 mnts, sometimes after about an hour or so. The system actually freezes every few seconds. This continues till the system displays BSOD or I restart it. After restart, it is fine for quite a long time but eventually the problem starts again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been doing a lot of searching around and have found COUNTLESS forum threads about people having problems with their games.First let me say: this is NOT related to Hard Drive Hitching, this is related to stuttering. I find many people on those forms would reply with "defrag the hard drive", which is not related to stuttering.Ok, so reading thread after thread on this problem I have found something that is playing a huge roll into this. One of the biggest fixes I read about is "roll back to the older video drives . . ." and a lot of people said that worked, but it seemed for the majority this didn't work. It certainly didn't work for me.Alright, here is the deal. I too suffer these damn "micro" stutters. You notice them mostly when looking down on the ground in your games and moving forward as well walking forward and looking to the side at the same time. It's hella-annoying.
Time after time, fresh install, tweaking the OS out, changing this changing that. Even latest and greatest drivers. Then I found out the most interesting thing about this problem: chipset drivers. Before I go into this I want to mention that in Windows XP Pro I do not have 'any' stuttering in my games whatsoever.Ok, the big find in Windows 7 that's causing these stutters (from what I have researched) thus far. Windows 7 is not allowing me to actually install the chipset drivers. After downloading the drivers either from Intel or Gigabytes webiste neither will install. (yes, I do "Run as Administrator" )However the chipset drivers for the SATA hardware 'does' install, but the PCI bus and everything else, Windows 7 refuses to use those drives and instead only uses the Microsoft drivers.I have NO doubt in my mind that this is why myself and thousands of others are having these stuttering problems due to the chipset drivers not being properly installed by the OS itself.lright, so what can I do to get Windows 7 to use/install my Chipset drivers, and has anyone ever heard of this? I run the inf installer (run as administrator) and sure enough as I watch it install it only goes off and installs the SATA drivers and turns around and tells me it's completed. Going into Device Manager the PCI Bus and other motherboard drivers are using Microsoft drivers only.
we just wanted to know how to report this problem of his where all of a sudden, he couldn't stream videos anymore without his laptop crashing.can i use the bsod reporting tool for this even though he doesn't encounter the bsod?he can view video files (with vlc for example), but when streaming videos like on Internet or dailymotion... his system freezes immediately as soon as the video loads and all he can do is restart.he's running windows 7 home basic 32-bit on a laptop with the following specs:cpu: intel(r) core(tm) i3 cpu m 370 @ 2.40ghzmobo: samsung electronics co., ltd. r439 bios: phoenix securecore(tm) nb version 03us.m004.20100605.leoram: total memory 2.00 gb usable 1.93 gbhdd: toshiba m3265gsxgpu: ati mobility radeon hd 545v audio: (1) ati high definition audio device (2) realtek high definition audio s: microsoft windows 7 home basic 32-bit 7601 multiprocessor free service pack 1
View 9 Replies View Relatedwhich is a toshiba l750-0dp. i have downloaded a program called latencymon which basically looks at what processes are causing the highest page fault resolution time. so the service thats causing the most pfr is ndis.sys, apparently this is related to the network drivers and also tcpip.sys causes the same issue. i have downloaded a few drivers from my manufacturer's website trying to fix the issue to no avail. it would come up every now and then after using my computer for a minutes. like 30 mins in to it, even if im just browsing the net watching Internet or that sort of type of things. i also noticed that there is a big spike of lag on modern warfare 3 now which never used to happen, as i have been using the computer for 7 months now this just suddenly came out of the blue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile either watching a video on the internet or playing games I get this sound crackling/popping, I think it's because the video itself is stuttering and causing the issues (but the stuttering is that noticeable) and while playing games the stuttering is much more noticeable and the popping sounds happen at the same time.I have no idea what is causing this issue, I had no idea where to post my problem either, I don't know if it's a video issue, sound, memory, windows, etc
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing mouse lag/stuttering in a few games recently, however this only occurs when looking around in a game. The two games that currently do this, are Borderlands 2 and BRINK, however I believe more do which I have not found. I know this does not occur in Skyrim and also Protype 2. This does not occur when "aiming down the sights" in these games, only when looking around normally. I have all drivers updated, tried different mouses, mouse acceleration, mouse smoothing, v-syncs, dropping all graphics to low, looking around for other issues, but nothing seems to be quite the same. I'm using a GTX 670 with a Razer Naga, complete specs in my profile.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had BSODS for the past 2 months or so. I have done everything from memtests to chkdsks to driver verifier. I only get crashes when im streaming BF3. I was getting crashes while playing it but i updated my video drivers a few times the driver sweeper way and it started to work. now i cant stream and play at the same time. I have played Skyrim for 4 hours straight and get no bsods what so everMemtest comes back with no errors, and driver verifier crashes while streaming it but just artifacts and feezes and doesnt restart so its not making mindumps.I have windbg x64 and i learned sorta kinda how to read and load drivers and analyze. i have tried updating everything. Do you think its a bad video card. i uploaded the minidump.rar it includes all bsods and my dxdiag inside.
