Recovering Windows 7 To Factory Settings Without Recovery Disk?

I am trying to recover my ASUS K52D Notebook PC to factory settings. I am currently running Windows 7 operating system. I do have the Driver & Utility Ver.1.0 disk, but I have lost the System recovery disk that was made by the store where I purchased my laptop from. I have tried recurring it using the partition file thing that's on my computer, but I received an error message. I am wondering, is there a way to recover my Notebook to factory settings without using the partition or the recovery DVD?
I have just recovered my laptop toshiba satellite L505 es5018 windows 7 home premium 64bit to factory settings successfully. After that system start up but keep configuring system continuously. How may I solve this problem?.
My wife reset our old laptop to factory settings before we gave it away. She has now discovered that she has not transferred 6 months off videos from our daughters lives which was stored on the laptop. These were not backed up as I was away working. Is there any way we can recover these videos? The operating system was vista.
I thought I had a virus on my Pc, so I wanted to return back to factory settings. I put my recovery disk in the Pc and followed the prompts. When the Pc restarted, It had the error message--BOOTMGR MISSING. I did the above operation several times and still received the same error message. The odd thing is I can view the recovery partition in the MY COMPUTER folder. How do I get the recovery partition to work again. I have restored the OS with the disk Dell gave me, but I would like to use the option to recovery the factory setting.
I would like to reformat my computer to speed it up again. Does reformatting slow down a computer after already being done? I want to keep some of my files, but I will not be using the windows reformat, I plan to use the "restore to factory settings" option. How would I do this? I have a "recovery" drive and I was wondering if I could store the files I want to keep onto that and when I reformat I could just transfer them over. How should I go about reformatting? I know there is a windows option for "restoring to factory settings." And I know that the last time I reformatted I used an hp tool to restore to factory settings.
I recently bought a netbook for use at University. My University recommended and supplied an antivirus software, which prevented my computer from accessing the internet. After phoning the anti virus support, they said it wasn't their problem and after phoning the university, they told me that they needed to restore the computer to factory setting (which I suspected all along)After booting the advanced boot menu on start up, I first tried starting in the last known good configuration, that didn't help, but then it told me to boot with the reset CD in the disk drive. I have the disk, however on my netbook, I don't have a disk drive!
I think my computer got a virus. It was working fine until i shut it down. I tried to turn it on the next day and it said something like "windows is trying to repair the problem" or something like that. I tried to restore it to an earlier date but the same thing kept happening, so I just decided to use the repair disks. I got a pretty bad virus on my Asus G72GX-A1, from which I could not get rid off.After backing up decided to run the Windows 7 Recovery Media Disc included with the computer.I booted up the computer from the recovery disc, selected the language and selected recover windows 7 at HD with 2 partitions. The program starts a counter, which goes to 100%, afterwards it prompts me to insert the support disc. After inserting the disc, a cmd windows opens up and apparently it runs a program calles AsCopy.exe.After some time, the computer restarts and, at the Setup is starting services screen, an error message pops up with the following message: "Windows could not complete the installation.To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."I did the same process over 10 times, tried the options of recovering just the windows partition and the entire HD, but I get the same problem over and over again.
My new laptop, after about 8 months of service, yesterday refused to be turned on again. No reaction to pressing the on button. The power supply seems to work. Before sending it for repair, I opened it and got the 2 HDs out in order to recodev some data using a SATA/USB adapter. Unfortunately, BOTH disks, when connected to another PC using the adapter, say that they need formatting. I tried to open a DOS window and typed : chkdsk e: /r It replied that the file system was RAW and chkdsk didn't work for it. When connected to a Linux PC, I can see the partitions but I could not mount them.
i have a copy of windows 7 and bought a custom made pc with an ASUS p5421-xl2/gb motherboard and i don't feel safe keeping whats on it currently. i want to start from scratch i don't really have files that i know i need to back up and haven't even really messed with with it much because i want it brand new. can someone help me? my computer is running on windows 7 i beleive currently.
Something went wrong when I was removing the Windows 8 Consumer Review partition and I lost my D: partition. I tried to recover it to no avail. My backups mistakenly only contained my C: partition but not the D: partition so I am preparing to reformat my C: drive and re-install Windows 7. My default profile had previously been relocated to an external disk drive (H:) and everything there is intact. Here is my question. When Windows 7 gets re-installed on my C: drive with both the C: and D: partitions, will it be possible to restore my applications from my C: partition backup or will it be necessary to download all of them again? At present the applications are on my C: partition but H:\users\richard\appdata is not.
I need to restore my laptop back to it's factory settings. I've looked at guides on the net and gone through the control panel to the system recovery < advanced recovery methods however the options that I see in the guides and on my laptop presently differ.
Before it had an option to "return your computer to factory condition" however now it says "Re-install windows)
So how can I restore it to factory settings? E: Laptop is a Dell Inspiron1545. OS is Windows 7 Home

I have forgotten my windows 7 logon password and have been told that the only way I can solve this problem is to restore my laptop to factory settings. I have been told by TechGuys that this is not possible with Windows 7 and that I have to pay around £80 to have HP do it for me.

I need to restore the windows 7 back to factory settings i dont have it backed up and i dont have a disk . i downloaded a dell webcam central upgrade and it wiped out drivers and i need them back. I have trouble shooted cleaned the computer corrected errors on it... iv done it all.
I went from browsers not working before resetting my 3 day old gateway, to crazy slow browser and download speed. So at least I'm moving up in life! How can I increase my browser speed and downloads? Am I missing a driver, need to configure/reset IP's or winsock? I'd like to refrain from changing too much I have to reset factory setting again.
I recently purchased an Asus Eee PC and its a great little machine...however it has a lot of bloat-ware on it and according to several system monitors i use the cpu and the ram are both nearing 95-100% at odd times. Now i dont want to restore the netbook to the Asus factory settings which will just add the unnecessary stuff again...but is there a way to reset the windows 7 started edition to just what windows includes? no asus extras that im never going to use?
i have reset my acer laptop back to factory settings but now windows 7 wont load, i can see that it is still there but cannot load it, iv tried system restore installing my recovery disc i made but still cannot get it to load
I recently had to take my computer in to the local computer shop to get it fixed because every time I logged in I was getting the blue screen of death (even in safe mode),Basically he just restored windows to factory settings. However I noticed a user folder called boinc_master and it just contains a bunch of empty folders. Apparently its some Berkeley program that uses your computer to run calculations and I assume that when you re install windows it asks if this is ok to do and he pressed ok or something. I don't want to use my CPU to run Berkeley calculations. As a result, I deleted the folder. I can't really find any other information on my computer about it (typing in boinc in the search brings up nothing now) so I just want to know if there a way to make sure that I know my computer is not being used for such calculations?
Also I have no idea how he re installed windows to factory settings on my VAIO laptop. I tried doing a search but can't figure out what did to get factory settings. I was planning on reinstalling to factory settings again to try to undo this. system restore only lets me restore to an earlier or time or reinstall windows (using a disk which I don't have). Any reccomendations or ideas on what he did to reinstall to factory settings?
my son forgot his password for his laptop. He has an Acer with Windows 7.how to restore the computer to factory settings? I was told that is what we needed to do in order to log back on.
the opening screen comes on that reads acer and then gose to a diffrent screen thats blue then black screen and reads the following no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key
