RAM Change In MSI 890FXA-GD70?

I was wondering about replacing my RAM on the motherboard MSI 890FXA-GD70. I have OCZ Gold 1600 2GB at the moment. Today I got some rather unknown to me ADATA DDR3 1333 2x2GB modules. As soon as i take out the OCZ module and put the ADATA into my computer, the motherboard does not let me go past the CPU loading phase, and nothing shows up on the screen. Is there something I could do about this, upgrade my BIOS, reset it's settings? On MSI's website it says "Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600*/1800*/2133* (OC) DRAM, 32GB Max", that's the reason I purchased these RAM Modules.

my notebook desktop icon all change to Microsoft word icon also the extensions change to LNK file (.lnk) except my computer and recycle bin icon, I used windows 7 ultimate x64?

In Windows 7, all the good icons are in %SystemRoot%system32imageres.dll, but we're still taken to the old SHELL32.dll when it comes time to change an icon.
Is there a registry key or something that we can change to remedy this?

I installed 7 on D: because of the Ultimate disappointment on C:. How can I swap partitions? I don't care about the Vista anymore. If I 'quick format' C:, can I just copy D: to it? If I delete C: will D: become C:? I just bought Easeus Pro and I don't want to reinstall everythig again.

Just downloaded the Home Premium Upgrade 64 bit ISO file from MS and want to replace my 32 bit OS. I know I have to do a Custom install, and somewhere at the beginning of the install is the option to format my C: partition. I missed it a few weeks ago when I installed the 32 bit.

my son in law has bought an acer micro system with windows 7 home premium on it. i have downloaded an app that allows me to change the log on screen & have done so successfully on my own laptop (toshiba) my desktop, & my daughters netbook. I need to change permissions so I can delete my default "Dropbox" folder from my C drive. I can't figure this out; the "objects" menus and all that are beyond me. If I try to delete it says I have to change permissions....I tried, but I don't get it at all. Can someone just give me a step-by-step? I know it's complicated, because you can't see the way it was set up originally by the guy who built my computer....I just need to delete that folder so I can start over fresh!

I setup my win 7 machine and during the network setup I accidently added a character on the end of the name of my network. It now will only show the network by this name so I am unable to see or access my home server or the other 4 Vista machines. I can access the internet but not the other resources on the network. I have went into properties and changed workgroup name, deleted connections and the wireless connection is called the same as my network name but it still shows the network as the wrong name. In vista you could merge networks to get rid of this problem but not here that I can find.

I use Google chrome for my normal browsing but since I am a forum moderator,I must use IE(the reason is that IE shows the preview of what you've done in a topic(e.g Hyper linking , importing an image and etc)but other browsers will show the html based topic(when you are writing one I mean)and since IE8 is so junk!!! I decided to move to IE9.But the point is I really don't like it's icon.Is there a way to change IE9's icon? Or are there any other browsers that show the preview of a topic when you are writing one?

I sign into an emulator for work and have to use my F keys a lot.I hate having to hold down the FN key at the bottom of the keyboard just to use my keys. Does anyone know how to turn off the settings of the F keys and use them as they are mapped on my emulator? My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6

I tried everything I can think of to change the desk top back ground but it just stays the same- Windows 7- picture. So not sure what to do now or if it is a fix from microsoft that has to be done? I did follow all the right instructions to do the change but with no change. The Theme will change when I click on it but not the back ground. Read tutials and treads and made sure I was doing it right and all settings were right but still no good!! It really isn't that big of a deal but if it's suppose to work why not on my brand new computer and operating system?

I have a friend who is studying abroad from Japan and their laptop broke and they want to get a new one. However, they would really prefer it if the OS language was in Japanese (eg when you press the Windows key instead of 'Computer' it's 'コンピュータ'). I've tried fiddling around with mine, but changing the language seems to only change it for my clock, not the entire OS. I've heard with Enterprise one can freely change the languages in such a manner, but I would like confirmation before I recommend my friend a laptop and buying another OS if it's unnecessary and changeable through some other means.
