I have added the quick launch to the taskbar on 1 pc but on the second one when I click on toolbars - new toolbar it opens with Libraries showing and I cannot get rid of it to insert the text for the quick launch bar. Does anyone know how to get it to open without the libraries bar showing?

I went to HP and downloaded the Vista 32 bit drivers hoping they would work on Windows 7 but they dont, at least not by simply installing them.

Im not talking about the Quick Play buttons, I dont care about those.
Any ideas?
This is my second day with Windows 7 and I'm very impressed with it. With Vista, I had the 'My ISP' icon in the Quick Launch bar which was very handy. Now that I've managed to enable the Windows 7 Quick Launch, can anyone tell me how to put the My ISP icon there so that I can connect with just one click as with Vista?
View 5 Replies View RelatedQuote: There is a reason Mozilla announces the release of a product days after uploading it to their servers. And that reason is that testing is still performed and that finding a serious issue would force the company from shipping the product to end-users (these can be viewed as release candidates).
And this is exactly what happened in the case of Firefox 8.0.1. The build was available for download from Mozillas FTP up until today, when it was deleted because of RoboForm-related issues.
One of the problems the development team was working in order to ready a Firefox 8.1.0 update was gathering information for blocklisting RoboForm DLL. It looks like trouble ran much deeper than that and a second build is now required.
You can still download the initial Firefox 8.0.1 release and it should not cause any trouble as long as you dont mix RoboForm in.
I upgraded my graphics card from GT 240 1GB GDDR5 to HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 in November 2012.But I am noticing a strange issue recently but have no idea whether the card has something to do with it.The problem occurs very rarely though it is annoying. During browsing using Mozilla Firefox, the Firefox freezes, then whole system freezes and returns to normal within seconds with a single beep sound from speakers/headphones. I have tried "turning off hardware acceleration" but still it occurs without that. There are no issues other this.Only freezes and returns to normal within seconds.
The driver version :Catalyst 12.8 {I have tried Catalyst 12.10 and even Beta version 12.11 but the problem exists in all drivers. But catalyst 12.8 seems to be stable with games and uses very low power while playing HD videos in my own benchmark. So I am using 12.8.} Mozilla Firefox version : 18.0 {The same issue was present in previous Firefox versions (17 series) and I haven't tried versions older than that due to security risk} Can anyone tell what the problem might be? Besides graphics card is stable and fur mark test run successfully with 65-70 degree C temp as highest.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe icons in the quick-launch bar (or whatever it's called now, since it works differently after all) frequently change image. For the first few days it was all normal, then the WMP and IE(32-bit) icons swapped image, and now the WMP image has turned into my C drive's image (and IE(32-bit)'s back to normal. The 64-bit icon hasn't changed yet, by the way). They still work normally though. How to stop them from switching image?Interestingly, this also happened on Windows XP (which was 32-bit, not the 64-bit unlike this Windows 7). However, this is a different HD, so it's definitely not a HD issue (well, unless both happen to have the same problem, but what's the chance?).

Windows 7-HPx64 offers easy changes from small to large icons in the Taskbar but QL icons seem to have one size only - small. In trying to set up / maintain Windows 7 for an older person I want to offer her a QL with large icons, just like the Taskbar.Do I ditch the QL and just pin apps to the Taskbar?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI still use the quick launch bar in Win 7 and I'm wondering something: is there a way to make a folder on that bar appear as a pull-down (or, pull-up) menu?I mean similar to the way Chrome allows you to make a folder on your bookmarks bar, in that clicking it brings a pull-down list of those bookmarksSo in this case, I'd like to click a "games" folder on my quick launch bar, and have it open a menu similarly, rather than just open a folder of links.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI managed to reactivate the 'Quick Launch' Folder under Windows 7. Disadvantage: I need to synchronize the content for every user. Means 'Quick Launch ' differs a lot from e.g. Start MenuPrograms or Autostart where I can place my content into the 'All Useres' branch and will see a combination of my personal folders and the 'All Useres' folders.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFriday night I had quick launch icons. Saturday morning I didn't. I also can't open the START menu and select "pin to start menu" on anything anymore. There are arrows next to certain programs as well (such as Word) that USED TO show recent documents but those don't even open anymore. All that exists there is an arrow with no functionality. What the heck? I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64. Why would all of my quick launch icons suddenly disappear and I can't drag and drop anything to the bar now? The bar isn't locked and nothing has changed in the system that I know of.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing Win 7 x64 and Firefox 4 with a Dell 23.5" LCD monitor, I randomly see Firefox bookmarks (1 or 2 bookmarks) appearing in the area at the bottom of the screen where the Firefox add-ons are shown (one add-on currently - "Ad Block Plus" - so the red stop sign shows) and blending into the taskbar/quick launch tool bar. These random bookmarks show up about centered on the width of the screen. If I click anywhere in the Taskbar/quick launch tool bar, the shown bookmarks vanish.

It came with vista installed and when i pressed the volume buttons on top of the keyboard a gray bar used to come indicating the volume, but when i installed Windows 7 the gray bar is not coming, even though the buttons function properly(that is volume goes up and down) (pressing the volume touch button increases the volume, but does not display the volume slider window on the screen)

I'm having a specific issue with the quick launch toolbar that I haven't seen described anywhere else. When I try to expand the quick launch toolbar to view the shortcuts, none of the 15-20 icons show up and instead it just displays a white rectangle where the icons should be. While I have seen a similar issue described, in every case the icons actually show up after a few to several seconds waiting for them to load. In my case, nothing shows up and the quick launch menu just stops responding.
