Does anyone know of a plugin that would allow me to make a reflection of an object on photoshop instead of manually doing it? Suppose if I have an item, I want it to look like its sitting on a glass table (hence thats where the reflection would come in), any suggestions?
I have searched high and low for a solution to this problem. I am running Windows 7. This error pops up in a window titled "fatal error" - "Unable to create an instance of required object". It happens in Firefox (14.0.1) and Word (Office 2010) usually when I'm trying to save or download a file. It then crashes the program and sometimes my entire computer.I've found tons of old references to problems relating to Allaire Homesite, but the page that windows support sends you to a Macromedia page that no longer exists as they were purchased by Adobe. At one point in the last year, I had started to install Homesite 5 but wasn't successful as I could not find my serial number. But that was long ago and this error just started happening now.
The computer is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit edition version 6.1 Build 7601 service pack 1. The computer is not in a domain environment. I believe this may be a security issue however I completed an in-place windows 7 upgrade to try and fix the problem but after all of the windows updates, etc the error remains and appears every time the computer is rebooted..[CODE]

WMIDiag.vbs is reporting 30 errors which are all similar (0x80041002 - (WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND) Object cannot be found).Sample; Root/CIMV2, MSFT_NetInvalidDriverDependency, 0x80041002 - (WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND) Object cannot be found.MOF Registration: 'WMI information not available (This could be the case for an external application or a third party WMI provider).I checked several of these missing items using the wbemtest tool and they are missing.Search is set to search document contents. I searched the WBEM folder, all of Windows 7 and the registry for this item but no joy!Question: What is telling the vbs script that this item (MSFT_NetInvalidDriverDependency) should be there?
I have a Dell Inspiron 14 that I bought last April. The hard drive crashed before Christmas and I had to send it to Dell of replacement. Obviously all other software applications on the computer were gone when we got the computer back from Dell. I have since reinstalled all software using my last license to do so. Now I am having major issues with internet explorer giving me an "Object Error" on some websites. All indications I have to reinstall windows 7. How do I do this and not loose all of my other applications that are on this computer?

i recently installed Windows 7 pro 64bit on my machine. i ve installed latest flash player plugin but its too slow. audio goes fast out of syncro and video is quite laggy.
ofc my pc is not "old" so obviously there is some sort of problem in my Windows 7
my computer is about a month old. i am running windows7 (64 bit) and my browser if firefox. whenever i view a Internet video, once it's over, it hangs up for about a minute. i get the message "adobe flash plugin has crashed".
I recently bought a new laptop with windows 7 home premium pre-installed. My former laptop had been hibernating whenever I seemed to use more than two or three programs at once. While trying to add to my music library I found that I couldn't playback some tracks without a license for those tracks. When I tried to get a license i was told that i didn't have the 'windows media services plugin' installed. I went to Microsoft and tried to find it and I couldn't. I tried to find a way to contact them directly and couldn't. From where I can get this plugin?
I used to play video/x-msvideo with the quicktime plugin but I did a fresh install and I finally got rid of Quicktime (needed for iPhone with iTunes).
I have installed VLC with the Mozilla Plugin trusting that it would play since I <3 VLC.
But the following Video didn't: Transformers 2: revenge of the fallen spoof (2009) - Stagevu: Your View
I don't know if it's my problem or the sites problem but it only shows the VLC Logo and doesn't do anything else. I don't like heavy packages or big packages that polute my system so I refuse to install DIVX codec junk. Does anyone have a way to fix this or does anyone know a lightweight DIVX alternative?
I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64 ... I dont know totally system specs. It's a custom rig that I purchased about 6 months ago. I dont think the specs matter anyway because I don't believe this is a hadware problem, but a windows problem. So about a month ago I was unlucky enough to pick up a virus infection somewhere ... those fake antivirus ones that totally destroy your system . It started this whole chain of events that lasted two weeks and ended up with me running in safe mode for more than a week trying to fix the problem. I tried restoring my computer via system restore a few times and got an error every time - (which in turn 'damaged' my restore points so I no longer can use this option)
So, I figured I would reinstall windows and fix it. Sadly, whatever was on my comp as turned my CD drives (DVD and bruner) into dead weight - they won't read a thing. So I got Dlite and mounted the CD to a virtual drive and tried to install it that way, but for whatever reason it gives me an error and reboot and wont finish the install. It does however take me too the new log in screen, which gives me an error when I try to create a new log in for the new windows.
I was able to get back into the old windows install and managed to delete the new one. Anyway .. I eventually was able to get spyware docter and a few other programs to run in safe mode and I cleaned the comp of all virus's BUT when I tried to run windows normally it would barely run at all. Start up was slow, browers would either not open at all of freeze when they did, and eventually windows explorer would just crash and I would have to reset to computer.
Eventually I just gave up and ran the comp in safe mode to do the things I needed to do. two weeks ago I decided to give it another go and try and fix it and when I loaded windows normally it ran fine - absolutely no problems what so ever. Then 2 days later it started the freezing and crashing again. I would run it in safe mode and run spyware doctor (thinking I am infected again) and it would remove minor stuff like tracking cookies and such, when I would restart it would run fine for about a day and do the same thing again.
I've figured out how to create desktop shortcuts to launch Windows Media Center (WMC), WMC + TV Guide, WMC + My Movies. Now I'm looking for help on how to create a desktop shortcut for WMC - Extras - Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 . . . which is a WMC plug-in I'm using to play my Blu-ray & DVDs via my HTPC. how to create this shortcut?
I am looking to create a bat file that will launch straight into the Powerdvd 12 plugin within Media Centre. I have seen posts where people have done this with the Netflix plugin but can't find anything for Powerdvd.
I am starting to think strongly in encrypting my email. I am already encrypting data using true crypt. Now it is time for mail for me and my correspondents.
I am using Outlook 2010 (32 bit) on Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and I would like to use GnuPG for encryption. The problem is that I need a plugin that works with Outlook 2010
I was wondering is there any plugin for Windows 7 that allows you to expand a folder without actually clicking into the folder?
Basically the functionality that is in the navigation pane but not for the main explorer window. OS X and Ubuntu both have this feature, anyone know of a plugin for explorer or a registry tweak to add this functionality (for the main window)???
Here are the screenshots of OS X and Ubuntu so you know exactly of what I'm talking about.
In all browsers this plug-in is running at extremely high percentages and slowing down my whole computer. Videos are all playing very slow and choppy as well.
I am trying to get the XM Radio Online plugin to work within Windows Media Center 7. I am following the widely published instructions, but when I click on the plugin it navigates me straight to the SiriusXM site. I do not get a popup to login or start a 7 day trial. I have tried this on multiple machines and I experience the same thing. When I click on "Listen Online" link it wont open up the XM player, it appears popup windows do not function in the browser within WMC.
Yesterday my computer "crashed" right after updating the windows media player pulgin via firefox. Since then I have got the infamous startup loop.
I have tried the following: - Startup repair - Safe mode - Last known good configuration - Startup repair disk - Sfc scannow(running for the 4th time right now) - Chkdisk - Rebuilt the boot directories - Unplugged everything but the drive windows is on
After rebuild the boot drives is the only time any prgoress was made, now it actually attempts to startup and hits the startup repair following the windows animated logo. I cannot locate my actual windows 7 disk otherwise at this point I would have just ran the repair from there or fresh installed.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and have recently encountered a few problems. First (and I'm not sure if this is related), the computer would easily overheat and then cpu usage would skyrocket to 100%, and I wouldn't be able to do anything. After running a virus scan (TrendMicro) and Malwarebytes, I got nothing, and I figured it was just my computer(a DELL Latitude E6400, which usually has overheating problems). This might still be the case. The new problem is that when using Netflix, Microsoft Silverlight plugin crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all of my browsers, cleared the caches and done everything suggested to me.
i'm trying to install Photoshop CS4 extended version on my newly installed Windows 7 x64 OS, but the CD doesn't run, it just does nothing, the ODD does however play DVDs? Might this be because its a 64 bit OS ? Previously had Vista installed on the laptop, and it doesn't state anywhere on the PS box whether its a x86 or x64 software version.
I've been trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.The problem is installation fails , because the installer does not have permissions to install files into the windows folder. It cannot install the Microsoft VC80_ATL and VC90_ATL . I've runned as Administrator , Tried to manually install the VC.msi installers , I've turned off AV,AS,Defender,Firewall and so on, I've tried installing through Command Prompt running as administrator and writing msiexec /a "file destination". Still no luck, Tried installing from desktop , tried safe mode , nothing works
