Touch Pad, Point Mouse Stuck
Dec 3, 2009I have installed WIndows7 in my Laptop dell xps 1330 about one and half months ago. It was running perfect and was not a trial version for one month.
However, still I can update my windows and so forth as original. The fact was, I installed some programmes and softwares which I used before, in Windows Vista! Now-a-days, I experience having problem with the touch pad, CD Rom hardware and Volume...
1. touch pad stucks, pointer doesn't move sometimes.
2. CD Rom start functioning automatically without having a CD inside.. sounds like CD is ejecting from rom.
3. volume button starts increasing automatically and sometimes mutes !
what I guess, it's a virus. I installed a scroll pad driver, I thought the problem was due to the driver. After uninstalling that driver, the touch pad was functioning normally (without the scroll functioning though) and the error was removed. But after two days, I see the same problem again..

Jul 13, 2012when i playing games like dota sometimes my computer beeps once and cause my keyboard and mouse to stuck so im forced to restart my comp . Sometimes once beep then stuck keyboard and mouse but after a few seconds the keyboard and mouse will work again without restarting my comp.

Dec 16, 2009When I assign one of the mouse buttons to "Close" or to a keystroke combination (Ctrl-F4, Alt-F4, Ctrl-W etc.), after using the mouse buttons the Ctrl (or Alt) key behaves erratically as if it were stuck on the keyboard.
This is not a hardware fault of the keyboard, I tried different types and makes. I have Vista64 but I read on various forums people have this on Win7 as well, both 32 and 64. Worst of all it happens both with Microsoft Explorer (MiniMouse in my case) with Intellipoint and Logitech VX Revoution and their Setpoint. (Newest versions were installed). Other people report it with further mice.
Nothing is turned on regarding Accessibility and Sticky keys. As to date I found no evasion to this frustrating issue except not assigning mouse buttons the way I want. Is there some merciful soul out here who will share a solution ? Logitech know of this but their newer versions did not solve this, same goes for MS.
Laptop Gets Stuck Randomly And None Of The Keys Or Mouse Works
Jul 24, 2011I have a HP dv6000 with a 4 GB RAM and Intel Core2 Duo @ 1.50 GHz processor. I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit operating system.
Sometimes the laptop gets stuck and then none of the keys or the mouse works. Yesterday I was watching a movie and the same thing happened but the movie didn't stop.
Today morning the laptop wasn't booting and then later I took out the battery and reinserted it and it worked. Are these two problems somehow related?

Sep 19, 2012Lately I have been having an annoying problem with my wireless mouse. For some reason the pointer will lag, and be very sluggish and jumpy. I've had this mouse on this computer for about a year and I've had no problem. Out of nowhere this problem is happening. I've tried re installing drivers with no luck. I tried uninstalling intellipoint and re-installing it, but when I tried I got the BSOD, and then it completely disabled my mouse and keyboard so I had to use wired peripherals to go in to safe mode and do a system restore. Now everything is working again, except my mouse is still jumpy.

Sep 18, 2011I probably spilled some coffee on the keyboard and now I can not inactivate the mouse pad in favor of the external mouse. The only way I can eliminate the conflict is to uninstall the mouse pad. That works fine but every time I reboot for something I have to uninstall it again. The problem is that since its reading two mice the one i have been using forever has stopped working right.ouble Click is disabled and it moves extremely fast. I go to disable the HID Mouse and everything is working fine again. But when the computer restarts it seems to reinitalize the HID Mouse. So i uninstalled the driver for it. Aug 28, 2012My computer recently broke, would stop on a blue screen saying UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME, if I ran safe mode it would stop at classpnp.sys however now after switching SATA to compatability mode it allowed me to use startup repair and after about 2 hours of startup repair the computer has managed to boot. It got to the login screen but I could not click on my profiles, then after 10 minutes the profiles disappeared and after another 10 minutes they reappeared and I could click on them. Aug 28, 2010Somehow at MicroCenter when I picked up a handful of spinpoint drives I accidentally grabbed 4 spinpoint f3 drives series "J" and a 5th one which in the same pile, was one of the ecogreen drives. I'm using clonezilla to get my OS from the green drive to one of the F3 drives, but Clonezilla (partclone) is stuck at 100%. Does this mean there are bad parts on the source drive? If so, should I check the option in clonezilla to keep scanning if it encounters a bad sector? Is the computer waiting for me to just restart it?

Dec 5, 2009I got my ****ing windows 7 upgrade disc in the mail, got it working, waited for like 3 hours, an now its stuck on the last ****ing step at 41%. It's been stuck for about 2 hours. Its not the inconvenience of having to fix an issue, if microsoft can't give me an upgrade cd that works, thats fine, I'll just find a work around, but its in the MIDDLE OF INSTALLATION. What happens when I turn off my computer? Will I be able to boot?

Oct 10, 2012I am having a problem with my new HP desktop Win 7 pro, 3.3 ghz i5 sandy bridge, 8gb ram. I own the machine since about 3 month, in the beginning I was delighted with the speed, then gradually performance decreased (as with it has with all widosw machines I have owned) the last couple of days it has been getting stuck hopelessly while I was working with lightroom and photoshop (things I need for my job) and today I finally had enough and started scanning for malware. All scans returned negative so I thought I'll get rid of some of the software I don't need, I deinstalled an expired trial for Acrobat, after that the machine di not want to start up properly anymore (It would not load all programs on start up and never get to load the sidebar apps) so I went into a software I have called ccleaner and deactivated some start up programs I thought could be the cause (can't remember exactly which ones but mainly adobe updtaer and alike) It only made things worth, nowmost of the times I start up after entering the user password the screen stays black, sometimes it loads the desktop but many of the software icons in the start mennu are not loaded, If I use shortcuts like ctrl+Alt+shift to bring up the task manager it returns an erros message(this has actually been happening for a while in a couple of occasions, just now I tried to bring up the control panel.
