I have a database called customers with their information (First Name, Last Name, street address etc) I have written a personalized letter and would like to send it to each customer in the database?What I want to do is, Replace "Joe Bloggs" with the name of each of the customers If I had Sue Rain as a customer the letter?

i have a big problem my drive is not opening.
This all happened 'coz of PERMISSIONS.
i Just have right clicked 1 drive & have gone to SECURITY TAB & then EDITED PERMISION in permission i TICKED DENY {FUll CONTROL} & THEN APPLIED.
So Now i just cant open my drive whenever is try to open that drive it is telling that ACCESS IS DENIED.
& whne i m going to try that same thing & give ACCESS, when i right click the SECURITY TAB is mising.
When attaching a flash drive:
1. The autoplay pop up doesn't appear;
2. The device does light up initially;
3. The device doesn't show up in "Computer"
4. The device doesn't show up in Disk Management - just Disk 0 (system reserved, C: and I and 0 (CD ROM)
5. The device appears in Device Manager under USB controllers as a storage device but I can't access it.
6. This happens with all memory sticks and occasionally with ipod etc.. but sometimes for no apparent reason they work! All devices works ok with other computers.
7. 9 times out of 10 plugging in a device or turning on the USB attached printer will cause the computer to BSOD, usually with IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL 0X0000000A
8. Devices are never allocated a drive letter.
The only thing I can think of is that I repartitioned the external hard drive (which I attach to back up) which may have confused the computer with driver numbers? Possibly?! And I did fiddle with the System Reserved drive as I had back up issues and one of the solutions was to rename it, then I renamed it back again (I think).I'm running Windows 7 Home 64-bit, Avira anti virus and the computer is about 6 months old, working ok until a month ago. Can't think that we downloaded anything about the same time as the problem started but possible. I've tried to update all drivers that I can think of but the only one that needed doing was the Nvidia GeForce 7025 which was outdated.
When ever I start a Microsoft Office 2010 application I always get an error. It's Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student.
Excel- "Not enough memory to start Excel. Please close other applications and try again" Word- Crashes as soon as I start it OneNote- "OneNote cannot start because the Microsoft Office installation is missing the required files. Run Office setup again to repair the installation" PowerPoint- Splash screen flashes and nothing else happens
I have also tried going to install and clicking repair but it still doesn't work.
According to what I've read, Access 2010 uses the same database format as Access 2007. So this should mean I can open and run a 2007 database (with a lot of VBA code) in Access 2010 with no trouble, yes?So why do I have the feeling that something is not going to work? Is it because I have been through to many Access upgrades?

As this Starter version does not give full use of the features within Excel, I wanted to install my Home and Student Office 2007. I installed Office 2007 alongside the Starter 2010, however this caused quite a few problems with File associations so I decided to uninstall Office 2010, unfortunately this meant that Office 2007 also did not work as I believe I hadn't installed and uninstalled things in the right order. I therefore did a system restore to when Office Starter 2010 was on the laptop without 2007. I uninstalled both the Office Starter 2010 file and the Office 2010 file from the Program files. I tried to also uninstall the Office 2010 Click to Run file, however this would not uninstall. It just comes up with an error message "this action cannot be completed. try action again. if problem continues, contact microsoft product support". I have now installed Home and Student Office 2007 and it seems to be working, despite the Office 2010 Click to Run file still being on the computer. Is it okay to leave the Click to Run file and the associated Q drive there and be running Office 2007? Or do I need to make sure I eradicate the Click to Run altogether?

I want each one to have their own google chrome browser and their own google drive accounts. I may in the future want to download programs on one or the other user account without them showing up on both accounts. I think I may have messed up when setting up and made the admin my account rather than having an admin account plus two other user accounts, one for me and one for my wife.

The computer had several problems with it so I did a system restore that is built into a recovery partition. The install went fine, but then when it was loading in the 2nd time... it locked on Personalized Settings: Microsoft Windows Media Player. The problem I am having is that the laptop does not have a CD drive so I cannot put in a Windows 7 disc and run a chkdsk /r. I can log in to the machine if I go into safemode with networking.
