DNS Service Isn't Responding
Aug 22, 2012my Internet connection has stop working and when I used thediagnose connection problems program it said "DNS server isn't responding". I've googled lots of forums like hewre trying many "solutions". I have tried rebooting my computer and router/modem , flush DNS, and various ipconfig command prompts ideas, virus/malware scans.

Dec 13, 2011I am trying to set up the wireless internet. I am not super tech savvy, however, over the last decade I have been able to research and fix all of my computer problems myself without posting such things. Until now.
I need to set up the wireless router; however, I cannot get the LAN connection to even work with the router.

Sep 19, 2011I've been getting this warning now for a few months and just can't seem to be able to find out how to fix this or get rid of the warning in my Event Viewer. I own a Acer 8943g Notebook running Windows 7 x64/4gb RAM/Core i5 430M processor. My drivers all seem to be up to date. The services are running and I'm just at a loss.I'm an above average user so I'm not lost when it comes to troubleshooting, but this problem seems to have a lot of different solutions and I can't seem to pin one down, so hopefully I've come to the right place.

Now when I start the computer up it says "the user profile service service failed the login, user profile cannot be loaded". The computer starts up in safe mode and won't let me do a system restore because it says it is shut off.When I look at User Profiles in Windows 7, it states that the users profile is as backup and the default profile is the local profile. How can I fix my computer to get my user profile back up and working?

Jan 1, 2013See, I have a AM3+ motherboard, and currently a FX 6200 clocked at 4.2GHz, thing is, I feel when I try to play say BF3 on a 32 man server, My pc run's smooth, yet come to a 64 man server, My PC feels sluggish and well fails. Now I know Its going to effect my FPS and CPU usage with what settings in game am I running, well Ultra I don't use I mainly use a mix of medium and high, to Me its all about performance before eye candy, but BF3 seems to have no performance boost the lower I turn the settings down, I mean with one card I get 98-99% usage but in SLI I get 50% on each card with v sync disabled and on ultra I have even tried with settings on low and enabling v sync, lol that is just worse! I have been told the higher the settings, the higher the usage, and my cpu seems to be lagging behind.I know there is things to take into consideration like the Ram, Graphics, Hard drives, Lag ect, But I'm running two GTX 480's, 2 Velociraptor Hdd, 16GB Corsair Dominator Ram, a Corsair HX 1050w psu and Windows 8.Come January I'm planning a upgrade, but what My dilemma is should I move to Intel has I feel my issue is a major bottleneck with the 480's and my CPU, I don't want to buy a 200 cpu (8350) and a few months down the line have to invest in a Intel because the Pile driver has failed like the Bulldozer did! Or just upgrade to a Intel i5 or i7, I mainly game but do video work as well, even considering getting a i7 2600k or 2700k,

Nov 17, 2012when i try to create a new user profile ~ with or without a password, it shows up on the main login page, but when i click on it to open, the message "UserProfileService_service failed the logon_user profile cannot be loaded". i have searched microsoft support with little solutions listed. and the ones that are listed seem too technical for me to be trying on my own. there are many posts there with this problem, but they all seem to be several years old.
i am using windows 7. i have never been able to create any accounts other than my administrator account & the one account i use for all my general computer use. i have been using norton 360 with no problems. i have resorted to just using any "log in/log out' links on all the sites my husband wants to use.i am really not all that confident doing anything super technical to fix this, since i don't have a real understanding of different extensions or types of files. i am afraid i could really mess everything up really bad. but, it would just be SO MUCH EASIER & FASTER if i had my account & my husband had his own account.

But then that not responds and then I can't to anything and have to force restart by holding the power button.e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Task Manager are open. Chrome freezes, then task manager and firefox would be fine until i open up a new tab or affect it in anyway.

when i connect to the wireless internet, my laptop seems to be connecting, but taking longer than usual.
i have flushed the dns cache, and disabled IPv6
