View 1 Replies View RelatedThis problem is 2 years old and no-where have I found a solution. I am pretty good with pcs and in fact I had another one with Vista which I upgraded to Win 7 and the drivers worked instantly! Yet on this Hewitt Packard with the 64 bit Win 7 it has refused for 2 years to recognise the same drivers. I have un-installed dozen times and re-installed. And yes I have the 64bit drivers in the correct file ie cjq3500-4500Win7en.exe but every install says drivers not found. Wireless connection also won't work, and trying to update drivers is impossible as it's greyed out by windows and not selectable. Under general tab, it even says Manufacturer unknown! I believe this is a problem with 64bit Win 7, where as 32 bit installed (on the other pc) with no trouble. It could be time to throw something away, but there's nothing wrong with the printer

View 7 Replies View RelatedSee, I have a AM3+ motherboard, and currently a FX 6200 clocked at 4.2GHz, thing is, I feel when I try to play say BF3 on a 32 man server, My pc run's smooth, yet come to a 64 man server, My PC feels sluggish and well fails. Now I know Its going to effect my FPS and CPU usage with what settings in game am I running, well Ultra I don't use I mainly use a mix of medium and high, to Me its all about performance before eye candy, but BF3 seems to have no performance boost the lower I turn the settings down, I mean with one card I get 98-99% usage but in SLI I get 50% on each card with v sync disabled and on ultra I have even tried with settings on low and enabling v sync, lol that is just worse! I have been told the higher the settings, the higher the usage, and my cpu seems to be lagging behind.I know there is things to take into consideration like the Ram, Graphics, Hard drives, Lag ect, But I'm running two GTX 480's, 2 Velociraptor Hdd, 16GB Corsair Dominator Ram, a Corsair HX 1050w psu and Windows 8.Come January I'm planning a upgrade, but what My dilemma is should I move to Intel has I feel my issue is a major bottleneck with the 480's and my CPU, I don't want to buy a 200 cpu (8350) and a few months down the line have to invest in a Intel because the Pile driver has failed like the Bulldozer did! Or just upgrade to a Intel i5 or i7, I mainly game but do video work as well, even considering getting a i7 2600k or 2700k,

With the old discontinued Intel drivers, which were only made for XP.
(The only one I'm sure works, since it's the only one I have tested, is the 845G Series chipset drivers, mine is the 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV rubbish.)
just installed Windows 7 today! It looks great and functions really well, but I have a big problem that if I don't solve it I have to install Vista again. The problem is that all the USB inputs on the computer aren't working ... I can't use my mouse I can't use anything that connects with USB. In the Device Manager it tell me I have Code 19, which is a problem with the registry files. Can anyone please help me solve this problem? if not I have no choice and need to go back to Vista .

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HP dv2890nr that was pre-installed with Windows Vista August 2008. I upgraded to Windows 7 today (finally successfully after using a flash drive, effin' Digital Rivers). Every time was nice and dandy until I realized Aero was not working. I checked out my graphics card, and it says Standard VGA Graphics Accelerator. I checked HP site, and there are NO updates for drivers. I checked Intel site, got the driver update .exe but it finishes with " Computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software. Setup will Exit".
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently installed an Intel X-25 M 120GB SSD in my VAIO SR290 notebook. The notebook has a Core2Duo T9600 cpu, 6 GB of RAM and is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.Everything seems to be working fine, but the Intel Solid State Drive Toolbox app (version 2.01.00) is a bit flaky. Sometimes it won't "see" the SSD when I run it (I fire it up every week or so to run the TRIM function even though I shouldn't need to with Win 7). A reboot usually (but not always) fixes the issue.

Dont use Intel ethernet drivers if your adapter is working, Intel has still outdated 8.3.1.5 drivers on their page, stick with Windows 7 drivers for now 8.4.1.0.

A new Intel driver for GMA 500 graphics has been released for the Sony Vaio P with noticeable improvements in video viewing, Aero performance (enables 3D acceleration) and web browsing. I have been advised that it Works only under Vista and Windows 7, no XP.
Apparently you have to install under Windows 7, use compatibility mode and select Vista as OS. Can someone please guide me on how to install using compatibility mode ?

I have tried hunting one down but cannot find one anywere.
So far I have installed all the drivers here but Im wondering if there are any more drivers I should be installing from this site.
The reason Im asking is because I have tried DriverMax and it reports that some of my drivers are out of date and need updating. I am loathe to use programs such as DriverMax to actually install drivers in case they get them wrong.
But its reporting the following as out of date:
Should I be concerned with this and try and locate the right drivers or just leave them as they are?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
My computer has the ancient Intel GMA 900 videocard series. The 32 bit RC1 install includes the driver, and works fine. However when I tried installing 64 bit RC1, there wasn't any driver included and it showed up in device manager as "Standard VGA adapter". I've been looking around but the only 64 bit driver I found for this card only works for XP, and 7 refuses to install it. Any help?
View 8 Replies View Relatedi've had this new gtx 560 (previously had gt 240) I have seen a small fps increase in games such as Call of Duty Mw3, Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Team Fortress 2. However smaller games such as Payday the Heist, CSS and Magicka have increased a lot. What im asking is if I upgrade to a decent intel i3 or i5, will I see a big fps different. Also to mention in BF3, no matter how low the graphics are the resolution, i still remain with the same fps. I can play on high settings and low settings and see no fps difference. [code] I feel the fps i get at the moment is extremely low for a gtx 560 and i was worried that my q8300 was bottlenecking but when i upgraded I was not expecting to see such as huge bottleneck and low fps in games.
