I have bought an older notebook - HP Compaq nx6110 with PCMCIA WiFi card and want to replace it with Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG card. I have installed Windows 7 on it and put the Intel card into miniPCI slot, the problem is no driver works for me. I would be happy, if you could help me, really do not know, what to do with that.
Quote: When will Intel drivers be available to support the Windows 7* operating system (OS) that Microsoft will be releasing to manufacturing on October 22, 2009?
Updated and signed drivers for many of the wireless products will be available to download for the Windows 7 operating system October 22, 2009. Automatically detect wireless adapter and download drivers. That said;
Intel has discontinued support for the Intel ProSet/Wireless 2200BG Network Adapter. There might be some generic drivers capable of Windows 7 out there, but I can't find them on the Intel site.
I did find Vista drivers here.
Update: These drivers worked and this old lappy is now on-line!
I bought a new laptop now and I am not so well with the technology it says: Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Management Engine Interface so what do I need to do now?
i changed the OS of my laptop from windows7 starter to windows ultimate x64. but i cant connect my laptop to the internet. some drivers are missing. {2 BASE SYSTEM DEVICE DRIVER missing, ETHERNET CONTROLLER DRIVER missing, NETWORK CONTROLLER and VIDEO CONTROLLER DRIVER is also missing.} solve this?i tried to install the ethermet driver i downloaded. but it always shows this error " error:failed to install, no device driver is present to your computer"
I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?
I recently installed a WD 500GB Scorpio Black (Sata II).
I am using a Advent 9117, running Windows 7 32-bit. The drives works fine but was just wondering if i need to install the Intel Rapid Storage Manager/ Intel Matrix Storage Manager program and driver. Will i gain any benefits from doing so? Or is the Windows 7 driver currently installed for the hard-drive fine?
I dont use RAID array, but want to use and enable all the features on the harddrive like AHCI etc. Is this already enabled and used with the current Windows 7 driver?
Dont use Intel ethernet drivers if your adapter is working, Intel has still outdated 8.3.1.5 drivers on their page, stick with Windows 7 drivers for now 8.4.1.0.
i installed windows 7 build 7100 RC 32bit build on a desktop. Its a custom build pc so i don't have much info about it. I ran Intel chipset identification and go this:
I need to download the chipset driver. Can anyone help me please?
I have a standard vga graphics driver and it won't let me play a lot of games like WoW and etc. I have a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Family Chipset I have tried to download the correct driver I need but all it does is load for like 10 minutes then it says Unknown error has occurred then it closes.
When I download the driver off the website it says it supports my chipset but when I look at the read me file that tells you what kind of chipset you need to install the driver mine isn't supported.
A new Intel driver for GMA 500 graphics has been released for the Sony Vaio P with noticeable improvements in video viewing, Aero performance (enables 3D acceleration) and web browsing. I have been advised that it Works only under Vista and Windows 7, no XP.
Apparently you have to install under Windows 7, use compatibility mode and select Vista as OS. Can someone please guide me on how to install using compatibility mode ?
does anyone know where to get a windows 7 extreme pci driver for a gateway gm5632e with an intel g33 chipset. windows says it can't find a driver for my pci simple communications controler and i cant use my pci slot for my sound card and my on board sound card won't work so i have no sound at all.
May I know can I disable Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor & Intel® Management Engine Components or not? If I disable both of them will cause any bad effect?
I've been getting this warning now for a few months and just can't seem to be able to find out how to fix this or get rid of the warning in my Event Viewer. I own a Acer 8943g Notebook running Windows 7 x64/4gb RAM/Core i5 430M processor. My drivers all seem to be up to date. The services are running and I'm just at a loss.I'm an above average user so I'm not lost when it comes to troubleshooting, but this problem seems to have a lot of different solutions and I can't seem to pin one down, so hopefully I've come to the right place.
Every 5-10 minutes my screen turns black, sort of flashes a bit, and then comes back on in different colours and the windows are all different sizes, but then it changes a bit and goes back to normal. Then I get a balloon message from the task bar saying "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows Vista® stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (screenshot below) For some reason it says "for Windows Vista® but I am on Windows 7. When it has come back to normal again, Chrome goes all funny and the tabs won't switch. So if I try to switch tabs, the top thing is on the tab that I have switched to, but the main screen below stays on what the previous tab was. Also, sometimes the tab becomes unresponsive and I have to either restart Chrome or refresh the tab.
I know Intel isn't supporting the old Intel Play QX3 microscope. Does anybody know if someone created a driver for the microscope that will work with Windows 7-64 bit.
I've been having problems updating my Intel Graphics Media Accelerator driver, 8.15.10.2119. It is the version that prevents Win 7 SP1 from showing up in WU. I read a thread about this very issue from 2011, but the link provided to go to Intel to get the latest driver leads to nowhere. I cannot find a place to go to update the driver. I manually downloaded SP1 and installed it and it is working fine. My question is: do I still need to update the driver, and if so, where do I get it from? Neither HP nor Intel is any help here. And would this driver cause IE9 to crash? The computer came with IE8 on it, but I installed IE9 in Nov. 2011. Shortly after, I was getting a message like "Internet Explorer has stopped working". I uninstalled IE9 and went back to IE8, but I had the same problem there as well. IE8 worked fine until I upgraded to IE9. Then I uninstalled IE8 and changed to IE9, where I still have problems. I have contacted MS Support about this, and one option given was to reformat the hard drive, which I really don't want to do. They were concerned about the fact that SP1 was not offered and hinted that the computer would be more vulnerable to problems without it installed. My firewall and anti-virus have turned up nothing. I use Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security.
When i was installing the network connection driver in windows 7, it did not allow me to install the driver. And Intel i not release new driver for windows 7. My desktop board is DP965LT
So I hooked up an external monitor to my laptop and after playing a movie graphical glitches on the windows appeared. I know this is probably a problem with Intel's drivers for Windows 7, but does anyone else have this problem?
Also does anyone know how to have the external monitor on when the laptop is closed?
I'm not exactly sure where to download Intel's graphics drivers, but a new one was pushed out today through Windows Update. Windows seems a lot more responsive after this update. I will test out multi monitor at work later.
