Quote: When will Intel drivers be available to support the Windows 7* operating system (OS) that Microsoft will be releasing to manufacturing on October 22, 2009?
Updated and signed drivers for many of the wireless products will be available to download for the Windows 7 operating system October 22, 2009. Automatically detect wireless adapter and download drivers. That said;
Intel has discontinued support for the Intel ProSet/Wireless 2200BG Network Adapter. There might be some generic drivers capable of Windows 7 out there, but I can't find them on the Intel site.
I did find Vista drivers here.
Update: These drivers worked and this old lappy is now on-line!
I have bought an older notebook - HP Compaq nx6110 with PCMCIA WiFi card and want to replace it with Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG card. I have installed Windows 7 on it and put the Intel card into miniPCI slot, the problem is no driver works for me. I would be happy, if you could help me, really do not know, what to do with that.
Ok. so I'm trying to install this Intel 802.11bg driver on my Tosh lappy. (I am installing it from a USB Flash drive, since the machine has no network connections.)
I install in XP2 compatability mode, and the report is that the installation is correct. But on restart, "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter".
I have an Asus U56E which has an Intel Centrino 6150 Wireless N + Wimax network adapter on it. This card ran fine the first few months I had it. Then I installed Ubuntu 12.04 with my windows install and ran it dual boot. The card worked fine on Windows but I had to make some configuration changes on Ubuntu for it to run. I did that and it worked fine still. Then, naively, I installed a registry cleaner (wise registry cleaner to be exact), and some time after installing it and running it regularly (usually 2-3 times a week) something went wrong and I started getting this issue with my card. What happens is the wireless will be functioning for some time, perfectly normal, and then it will just lose internet connection. I will have to disable and re-enable the adapter through device manager to get it to work but that only works sometimes, most of the time the device just won't start again and I will get the device can not start error in device manager. Also, when this happens I usually restart my computer and sometimes when I do that (or even when I just turn my laptop on or come back from putting it to sleep) the adapter is not recognized at all, doesn't even show up in device manager. What's most odd about that is that the Wimax still shows up on the list of network adapters but the wireless doesn't show up.The steps I have taken to try and remedy this issue are, re-install the drivers (by uninstalling them first) from both the asus and intel websites, do a fresh install of Windows (didn't fix the problem but made it occur a little less) and open my laptop casing and unplug and replug the network adapter.I'm not sure what to do from here, I'm assuming its the card itself at this point that is messed up and my speculations with the registry cleaner causing the issue were just a time coincidence. However, I want to be certain that is the case instead of going out and spending time and money getting a new network adapter when the problem lies elsewhere.
My laptop is Dell Latitude D505, OS is WIndows 7 Ultimate. I can not install Wireless card.My wireless card is : Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A Mini PCI Adapter?
When i was installing the network connection driver in windows 7, it did not allow me to install the driver. And Intel i not release new driver for windows 7. My desktop board is DP965LT
I just installed Windows 7 Ent. (64) and can not connect to the internet due to the fact te system can not find a driver for my network adapter.I ran the DEVMGMT and it shows no network adapters BUt it shows two yellow.
windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter, you will need to reinstall the driver, i cannot get on to the net to reinstall the driver , ALSO TRIED THE DEVICE MANAGER,ethernet and network controller have got yellow warning sign and when you press any of them they cannot find the drivers, windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Okay so I have no clue how to do this. This message pops up every time I try to troubleshoot my internet connection. Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver. This is funny though because my network was working find but there was this issue with my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium OA 32 bits) and I repaired and now the problem is gone but now I have the problem with my network. What do I do?

I have a usb network adapter and the driver files are on a flash drive. On XP, I just selected search in this location and selected the driver folder. I cant figure out how to do that in 7. I have the flash drive plugged in and the adapter too but when it searches it can't find the driver folders and i can't find a way to direct it to them.
I cant see available network on my network list. Troubleshooting says "There might be problem with your driver". In device manager, it say"Your driver is working properly"..
im about to pull my hair out i have win7 x 64 and i can't find the driver that will work for a wusb54g ver.4 if i could get a link that would be awsome and not cisco because theirs does not work
When i trouble shoot, the problem found is windows could not find a driver for your network adapter.I go into device manager and I can't even see network adapter. ( is that a problem already?) But i do see ethernet controller under other devices that has an exclamation mark. I can't update the driver because i can't get onlineWhen i click on ethernet controller properties it says the location is PCI bus 2. It also says ( the drivers for this device are not installed code 28)
I recently installed Windows 7 x64 onto my PC where I run my internet to it via an ethernet cord. Trouble being, the PC doesn't read a network adapter and I cannot connect to the internet to do a DriverTuner search for updates, etc. I've got a CPU of AMD Phenom II X6. Would their website best to check? I've browsed it and cannot find anything on it, and anything I can burn to a disk to try to run from this laptop I'm on over to my PC requires internet connection to scan for the necessary missing devices.
And I have a problem with my laptop because I cant find the proper driver
for my network adapter. Im using Windows 7 as OS.
I dont know where the problem is in the software or in the hardware, but Im pretty sure that the network adapter worked on my previous OS - XP - with no problem . So I think the problem is the driver I have to find.
I tried to find the proper driver, but I didnt succed.
So I need professional help - help from you.
If anyone can help, I would be pleased.
I know the name of the unknown device is Ethernal Controller, but Im not sure if the network adapter is attached to my mainboard ( Sorry, I dont know the expression ). Anyone can tell how I can see that ?
And BTW my mainboards name is ASUSTeK Computer Inc. A4GA .
"Problem with the driver for Wireless Adapter".I have an HP-Pavilion 2009f with Windows 7 home premium 64-bit. All has been fine with my internet connection, except for a few drops here and there, but all in all it has been tolerable. When I went to bed last night it worked, when I woke up, it didn't. When I troubleshoot I get the message, "There might be a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network Connection Adapter", to which Windows cannot fix. I get this same error message, respectively, for both wired and wireless connections. After troubleshooting without success, I decided to try and do system update.I am only connected with "Limited Access".What's even weirder is when I open a cmd window and enter ipconfig /all.
As you can see today when I got on my laptop I wasn't able to connect to the Internet and after attempting to troubleshoot I got this error message along with one saying a network cable is not properly plugged in or is broken. We recently switched Internet service providers and the Internet has been running fine. The only proble I had was sometimes it would randomly drop in speed but I don't think that has anything to do with the issue. Last night it was working perfectly, but then it went slow so I unplugged our router and then disabled the wireless network then reeanbled it. Anyways I've been using this network for a few months now without issues but I think the issue lies within my computer. I checked for windows updates and installed them but no luck. Then I checked for driver updates for my adapters but they were up to date. I don't have any screenshots and I'm on a tablet. Also please use the simplest terms possible because while I have a basic understanding of these things, I'm no expert and I don't want to miss anything
Computer is telling me my network adapter driver is missing/not installed. Where do I get this? Can I download it on my other laptop and transfer it via disc?
Few days back I tried to connect internet in my PC, said that "windows cannot found driver for your network adapter? Please install or upgrade your driver".
Windows 7 is not detecting a Network Adapter/Driver So i just got done installing windows 7 from vista 64 bit and i noticed i had no internet. I did a troubleshoot and it told me that i have no network adapter/driver.
After a clean install on a new ssd I'm trying to get my network adapter to work. I put the driver files from the site onto a USB stick, went to devices> properties and then tried to install the drivers fro a file. Unfortunately, Win7 says there are no drivers found. On my laptop, WinZip keeps failing to extract the drivers from the ZIP. I downloaded it here:EDIT: I also tried downloading the file again in case the first got corrupted, but I get the same error each time.I also tried another driver from a product that looked very similair
