View 9 Replies View RelatedIn the past week i have had problem staying connected through WLM. When i first boot up computer and log into WLM Ver:14.0.8117.416 it tells me if i have any emails and i go to the inbox and check them. After about 1/2 mins windows Live Messenger signd itself out. If i go to sign in the sign in window pops up and i enter detais but the WLM icon on the taskbar says i am logged in but then if i click on inbox a window opens but it wont connect to hotmail its just a blank IE page. The only way i have kept logged in is when i first log on i open hotmail and then i have to keep that webpage open all the time if not WLM logs off. A few days before this happened i lost connection to my Sky broadband for 2/3 hours and i rebooted the router and all was good. I have done Spybot, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and Microsoft Security and they all came back ok.

View 2 Replies View Related1/28/2012 -Running Win 7 ultimate 64 bit: I cant log in to any windows Live pages especially hotmail using IE-9. I can go to "My MSN" page that works just fine until I click on the Hotmail window. The hotmail window shows emails in the window but when I click on the underlined HOTMAIL link it then attempts to sign in and it just flickers on the page and then after some time it brings up a page that says that it is having problems signing in. It says:This site may be experiencing a problem,The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network, You can: You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.
I tried going to www.hotmail.com in IE-9 to sign in and is dose the same thing. I also tired login.live.com and it lets me enter my username and password. it takes me to my information page but as soon as I select hotmail it goes right back to the same page that says:This site may be experiencing a problem,The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network, You can: You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.
I'm looking to block a specific network both wired and wirelessly and wondering if there is a way to do this. I spend to much time on the internet when at home. I can now lock the computers so that during specific times I can't access the home network. HOWEVER I would like to configure one laptop computer so that it can't hook up to the home network at all. Not being able to connect with the network either hard wire or wirelessly. I want to be able to take that computer to other locations though and be able to hook up wirelessly to them. So in other words I couldn't connect to the home network but can connect to other networks.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently created shortcut desktop 'sign-in' links on my two laptops to take me straight to the place where I enter my email address and password so I can look at my mail. That's fine, but somehow on the older machine I managed to create s shortcut straight to my actual hotmail inbox, meaning I did not have to go through the signing in process. I would like to do that on my other machine as it saves a few seconds and I am on and off email all day. If it sktop link which takes me direct to my account is the miscrosoft windows logo, whereas the one on my other laptop which takes me to the signing in station has a little orange envelope and 'hotmail sign in' on it.
