1/28/2012 -Running Win 7 ultimate 64 bit: I cant log in to any windows Live pages especially hotmail using IE-9. I can go to "My MSN" page that works just fine until I click on the Hotmail window. The hotmail window shows emails in the window but when I click on the underlined HOTMAIL link it then attempts to sign in and it just flickers on the page and then after some time it brings up a page that says that it is having problems signing in. It says:This site may be experiencing a problem,The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network, You can: You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.
I tried going to www.hotmail.com in IE-9 to sign in and is dose the same thing. I also tired login.live.com and it lets me enter my username and password. it takes me to my information page but as soon as I select hotmail it goes right back to the same page that says:This site may be experiencing a problem,The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network, You can: You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.
Windows 7 Pro.What is the important difference between Windows 7 Live Mail (came with the PC- Sony VAIO) and Hotmail (I had to sign up on a cruise ship). Whatever I do on Livemail appears in Hot mail as well, like all incoming e-mails are entered in both except when I clear the Live mail account like the Inbox, it doesn't delete the content of the Hotmail Inbox. Also the Hotmail Inbox collects all incoming e-mails even the Junk mails, so when I occasionally check Hotmail?
I can view other sites in IE8, and I can view hotmail and live.com in firefox, but keep getting this error on hotmail and live.com in IE8 (final) "cannot dispaly web page".
Every time I send an email from my windows live mail account to a hotmail account it shows as sent but the person is not receiving it I can send to gmail and i can send any other emails but just not hotmail
I have found the methods to uninstall and remove Windows Live Mail, but I want to ensure my Hotmail becomes the default email app.I have tried to assign mail to Hotmail, but the only option is WLM.My problem is clicking an email link and WLM automatically opens. [eventually]I want my Hotmail to open, but have never figured out how.
On my Hotmail inbox on Windows Live Hotmail, when I press New to send mail, It goes to new e-mail and then displays ,Ïnternet Explorer has stopped working."
Ever since purchasing a new Dell PC with Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail, I am being driven around the bend with mail problems.Previously with XP and Vista my mail through my ISP worked almost flawlessly. Now it seems that not only is my email is being wrecked by Windows Live Mail, but Microsoft is monitoring my private mail! Why am I receiving messages (below) from Microsoft re Live Mail and Hotmail? In effect it seems that Windows Live Mail is duplicating AND storing incoming mail on my ISP's server.
I there a way to stop driver signing completely instead of having to disable it at boot with the F8 key I have tried several suggestions of cmd prompt commands but nothing has worked. I have a Twinhan TV Card the vista drivers work fine but are not signed. Please advise as I feel that we should be able to use drivers even if they are not signed its not our fault if the hardware manufacturer didn't pay for driver signing.
I'm trying to install the driver for an old electronic piano. Windows couldn't install the driver automatically, so I inserted the driver disc. But there are just a few .drv and .sys files that I can't open. I placed them in windows/system32/drivers which didn't help. In the manual it says:
1. For XP(no guide for Vista/7) go to control panel->system->hardware and click driver signing button. Click the ignore button on the dialog box, then click ok.
2. Place the CD-ROM
3. Connect the instrument to the computer and turn it on.
4. This displays found new hardware wizard. Select install the software automatically. (recommended)
So I looked for the driver signing button all over the control panel to no avail. Does it even exist in windows 7?
Well I'm thinking to make Win Seven my primary OS on my system by today and I want to know if there is anyway possible to turn the annoyance of the Driver Signing Enforcement on 64bit systems since that is the only way I tried and managed to get the internet on my netgear PCI card working.
I haven't signed on to my laptop that I bought from former co-worker of mine (really savvy with computers) in a few months and I've forgotten the password to log-in. There was no animosity between us after the purchase - he ended up quitting and getting a job elsewhere. I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 with Windows 7 Professional. All though, as evidenced from the bottom of the laptop, he did upgrade the OS at one point from Windows Visa but I am not sure which edition it was. I downloaded the Password Reset Wizard via from my parents home computer on to a new/unused USB flash drive. I clicked on the appropriate drive, typed in a new password, typed it again to confirm and typed in the password hint. After doing all of that, this error message came up "An error occurred while the wizard was attempting to set the password for this user account." Did I do something wrong? And at this point, I am stumped. I haven't been able to get in touch with the former co-worker. Should I call Microsoft and ask for them to send me a Windows 7 disk, buy it online (saw the cheapest price on Newegg for $139.99) or should I try a Windows password recovery tool?
I need to disable driver signing on win 7 ultimate. The easiest way to do this I am told is push f8 on startup and disable from that menu. This doesn't work for me. During startup, I've tried pressing f8, holding f8, pressing f8 really fast, at any and all times, I was restarting my comp for like a half hour straight. Yes I am pushing it before windows loads. I have also tried opening cmd.exe in admin, and tried to turn on test mode or test signing.
This also does nothing. When I restart there is no watermark that says test mode and I cannot run an unsigned driver. I have also tried to run Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b. I am aware of the risks of disabling driver signature enforcement so don't bother.
I love outlook, but I need to keep signing back in, even tho I check save password. I need to do this three times before I can send/receive. Seems that using it, everything works fine, but if I do not check mail for about 15 minutes, it automatically signs me off, then I have to sign back in...all my info is always saved, (screen name, password). Any ideas?
I've been using my Ps3 controller as an alternative to an Xbox 360 controller on my PC (to play games with a gamepad) but in order to use my Ps3 controller as a makeshift 360 controller, I need test signing enabled.
Unfortunately with test signing enabled I get a big ugly watermark at the bottom right of my screen, as far as I know the only way to disable this is to disable test signing, otherwise it just won't leave! Is there any way I can get past this and somehow keep driver test signing enabled but get rid of that horrid watermark ruining my gorgeous wallpaper?
When I log into hotmail on my computer everything good but when I want to logout it will not let me. It states that signing out isn't complete and Mobile - Windows Live mobile.msn.com text_mobileare not closedI do not know how they got opened in the first place I need to fix..
refresh your browser window. When you access your Hotmail account from more than one computer, we ask you to sign in again to help keep your account private and secure.
In the past week i have had problem staying connected through WLM. When i first boot up computer and log into WLM Ver:14.0.8117.416 it tells me if i have any emails and i go to the inbox and check them. After about 1/2 mins windows Live Messenger signd itself out. If i go to sign in the sign in window pops up and i enter detais but the WLM icon on the taskbar says i am logged in but then if i click on inbox a window opens but it wont connect to hotmail its just a blank IE page. The only way i have kept logged in is when i first log on i open hotmail and then i have to keep that webpage open all the time if not WLM logs off. A few days before this happened i lost connection to my Sky broadband for 2/3 hours and i rebooted the router and all was good. I have done Spybot, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and Microsoft Security and they all came back ok.
Anyone else experiencing a problem with Hotmail? I cannot sign in, tried to access Hotmail (via Outlook) at 16:39 GMT. Hotmail message was "Sorry Hotmail has a problem." Downer, have to email several people today.
I have windows 7, Hotmail, Internet Explorer. When typing in a new email message on say font size 12, after typing the 3rd or 4th lines, the next line font size decreases to 10. How can I stop this happening.
My OS is win 7 32bit and I'm using office outlook 2007. I've been using yahoo and Google accounts through outlook 2007 without any problems. But for hotmail account, I found out that I had no choice but to use outlook connector, so I downloaded and installed it and added my hotmail account. But when I click inbox, nothing happens.
