Do Not See Display Language In Keyboards Languages Tab
I recently purchased a laptop and it comes with Windows 7 Professional (64bit). However, in the control panel (language and region settings), in the Keyboards and Languages tab, I only see "Keyboards and other languages" sub-tab but not the "display language" one. How do I get it to appear?

Programs To Change Win7 Language Into Chinese
I'm looking for a program which translates the OS(programs etc) into chinese. I understand that language package is only available for windows 7 ultimate but the cost is too extreme. The computer is a present(dell inspiron 17) I want to give to a friend but they are not very literate in ENglish so I was hoping there were alternative programs I can install to change the language settings.

I'm also aware there are windows 7 chinese versions but that too costs alot to purchase.

Language Switching Details For Windows 7
Is Language Switching on the fly or do you have to reboot?

Are all components of the OS in the selected foreign language, including help screens, applets, error messages, and connections to the internet "suggested" by the OS  such as updates from Microsoft Update in the foreign language?.

Are third party software updates, such as Adobe Reader, running in the foreign language all done in dialog boxes running the foreign language?

I can't really find a good site that answers all the language questions I see all over the internet.  Where can I get all the details on exactly what is Language Switching.

Upgrade Vista Ultimate To Windows 7 - OS Language
My Notebook comes from the U.S. with Vista Ultimate. Now I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate here in Europe.

I heard that an in-place upgrade to Windows 7 is only possible within the same language (e.g. EN-US). Now I worry that I'll buy the wrong Win 7 version.

I know that my current Vista Ultimate is English, but how to find out which one (could be British as well)? Ist there a native OS language at all besides the language I set in the "regional and language options" in the control panel?

And is this important at all? As far as I know Windows 7 Ultimate supports 35 languages, so does it matter at all as long as I accept to install Win 7 in the same language like my Vista is?

Unable To Change Primary Display When Using Dual Monitors
I am running Windows 7 RC Build 7100 in VMWare 6.5. The host OS is Vista x64 Home Premium running on a Dell Studio 1535. I have a Dell monitor attached as a secondary monitor, and I am attempting to share the desktop across both monitors. While I can do that, Windows 7 insists on using the external monitor as the primary monitor, and if I attempt to change the main display to the laptop monitor I am greeted with 'Unable to save display settings.' when I attempt to save. This dialog is shown twice. Has anyone else experienced this or know of a workaround?

Unable To Change Text Size In Display Settings
Under Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> Display

When adjusting from "Smaller - 100% (default)" to "Medium - 125%" or "Larger - 150%", icon size changes, taskbar size changes, but the text size does not change. With this not working, it appears there is no way to adjust font size (at least when Aero is disabled).

Terminal Services Windows Won't Support A Second Display
Using build 7000, I've had the same result using the Citrix Web Interface to access a Server 2003 and the TS Web Access interface to access a Server 2008 box (no Citrix). In both scenarios, the session windows will only operate in the primary display.

They will not maximize to fill both displays and they cannot be dragged between displays (the edge disappears as though the app were being pulled off-screen). I have an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 135M adapter, and have had the same results with driver prerelease - WDDM 1.1 and the one before that.

If it's relevant, I'm using a Dell Latitude D630 with 4 GB RAM.On XP and Vista I didn't have this problem.I've tried a variety of settings in the nView Desktop Manager - including turning it off; no change. This is not a serious problem, but it would be nice to run my apps in my secondary display, which is much larger than the notebook's.

Display Driver Windows Kernel Mode Nvlddmkm Stopped Responding
I have just installed win7 and I'm getting problems with it.

Whenever I play games after 2-5mins I get a black screen and a pop up saying "display driver windows kernel mode nvlddmkm version 195.62 has stopped responding and has recovered"

This is very annoying because i never had any such issue with win XP

I have the latest Nvidia drivers 195.62 but i can't fix this, i also tried to reinstall drivers in safe mode but I'm still having this issue.

I also ran memtest86+, my RAM has no issues.

Can anyone help me?
