This is because I am interested in buying an ACER Aspire Predator G3610 from Germany which would obviously come with german windows. I would have bought it from UK if it were not for the fact that all UK ACER Predator come with older and lower specs than the german ones.
In fact an ACER Aspire Predator G3610 from Germany will have the new generation i7 2600 sandy bridge cpu, 16GB ram, Nvidia GTX560Ti graphic card, etc while those in the UK are still using the older i7 CPU, have fewer ram and cost much more.

Aug 15, 2011The typical -go to control panel and keyboard language setting- instructions dont work on Home Premium 7 for some unknown reason. The OS seems to be in English, but the keyboard doesnt want to change to Spanish.
Recent reinstall from partition. Legit copy, came with the laptop. Was working before the reinstall OK. Iirc the default interface might have been showing spanish, which might explain why i didnt have this problem before in the keyboard.
I think I was given the option to choose language at reinstall, and that I chose English. But everyone else who-s had problems with interface language never complained about keyboard issues.

The original setting was in English but it has now changed to Spanish and I can't get it to switch back. I'm not sure how this happened. Usually, when I am prompted for my password, there is a button I can click to choose the keyboard language, so I can type it in. However, I restarted my computer and the button has vanished. This means that I cannot choose the Russian alphabet to type my password in, and my computer has become unusable. I do not have a password reset disk. Is there any way for me to fix this problem? If you need more information.
