Dv6000 Webcam Driver
I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 in it.

Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as ''HP Webcam 1000" and the manufacturer is "Micro Vision" and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen.

I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop(HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6238ea Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)) but it is not able to install. It gives an error.

There is no available driver for windows 7 for this laptop (or any dv6000 series i think) on hp.com

Can anyone help in solving this?

Bluetooth Works, But Not Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000
Thinkpad X200s (most recent model) RC x64 installed. The Microsoft BT Mouse 5000 connects but does not move. It previously worked under Vista. My Blackberry 8330 does connect and work via Bluetooth (but there are two Bluetooth Peripheral Devices under other devices that are not found).

In device manager under Bluetooth radio is two drivers:

1. Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
2. Thinkpad Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate

When I move the mouse, the Bluetooth Icon and bubble comes active "A Bluetooth Device is trying to connect" and asks me for the connection code (there is none and it was already connected) -- since there is no code I try to pass it up but it wants a code.

At any rate, I'm not certain why the Bluetooth Mouse does not move.

Any ideas?

Also, what can I do about the two Bluetooth Peripheral device drivers that are not found? The same thing happened under Vista and did not seem to affect anything.

HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Bluetooth Not Supported In RC?
i mean for headsets.  i can pair them together but it's kinda useless without drivers.  the betas worked, but the RC doesn't find drivers.

wiki says (in the bluetooth article) - Windows 7: Not supported natively but in the same manner as Windows Vista. Native support was present in the Windows 7 beta but removed in the RC version.

was it too convenient to have it work straight away or something?  worse thing is, the bluesoleil drivers i have dont install under win7. i get err 183 and the install rolls back - even using "recommended settings"

am i going to have to go back to vista, or a win7 beta to get this working?

Cant Connect Bluetooth Headset
I have inbuilt bluetooth in my laptop (running Windows 7 ultimate) with HP/widcomm drivers installed. I have Sony HBH-DS980 A2DP capable stereo bluetooth headset. I want to use it with my laptop as stereo headphones (listening music) + internet telephony headset (voice chats, skype etc). First of all it was pain to connect the this headphones with laptop. It took me many many many tries to pair this correctly. Now that its connected, I cant get it to make a connection between laptop and headphones.

I tried pressing the button on headphone to initiate a connection, and also tried to make connection by pressing the connect button in headset's bluetooth control window with no results. However it does connect once in a while (I would say less than 10% of the times). The same setup used to work fine when I had vista. What is wrong with Windows 7? I tried going back to a previous version of drivers that HP released before current ones, and even tried formatting/reinstalling windows 7, but same result.

I checked headset's properties; under services I tried selecting/deselecting Audio Sink, Handsfree telephony, Headset, Remote Control, Remotely Controllable Device, but same result. I Any ideas or tips? I am just so frustrated I cant think of anything else to try..

Bluetooth Headset Issue
Hopefully someone will be able to help solve this, because I am stumped. I bought a rocketfish USB bluetooth adapter almost a year ago now. I also got a Motorola H15 bluetooth headset at the same time. Everything worked fine in XP and even when I had Windows 7 RC, I used the headset as a mic for ventrillo, teamspeak, etc.

I recently built a new rig a month ago and have Windows 7 ultimate x64 installed.

The USB adapter was installed fine by windows itself and I updated to the newest driver online. I turned the headset on and the adapter found the device. Windows 7 is now asking for a driver in order for the headset to work though. I don't remember it ever doing that before in XP or Windows 7 RC.

Windows 7 can not find a driver for the headset, even if I tell it to look online. I don't think there is even a "driver" for this, because it works off the adapter by pairing it.

Bluetooth Keyboard Keeps Disconnecting
This is my first Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and although it looks as though it was designed by an art student, you are totally fudged if you are left handed because Logitech decided, the entire world are right handed. It is a well designed keyboard and mouse that cups your hand like a well fitted glove, but it has a major flaw...

Or it's Windows 7? The problem I have is the keyboard keeps disconnecting all the time which is really annoying when you are typing and half the words are not there. Windows 7 has Bluetooth already set as standard, but I am now wondering if the problems I am getting is Logitech SetPoint clashing with Windows 7 Bluetooth...? Which could be causing the keyboard to disconnect?

I must be honest I love the keyboard and the mouse is just amazing.... But the disconnection of the Bluetooth is so irratating, you just feel like throwing in the towel and returning back to your wireless keyboard which kept a steady connection. It never stopped working, you never had to search for your keyboard via Bluetooth Central. Does anybody have an idea what is causing the dissconnection of the keyboard. The mouse is fine it's just the keyboard which drops the connection and you have to press the red button on the keyboard and reconnect again, it was fine to start off with, then it started disconnecting.

Other than that Windows 7 seems to be a very good operating system and look forward to the release.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset
Seems like I'm having similar issues to others here after a quick search. The one page I've found that said it had answers has a link that comes back saying I cannot access it.

I have a Jawbone Prime that I wish to use with vent and skype but cannot get the bluetooth device peripheral driver to install. I have attempted using the Broadcom software linked in most posts but it does not do anything but remain on the searching for devices page. I've also attempted to use the Asus software that is recommended in some posts but although it installs only provides me with a small window saying there is no bluetooth device present.

The computer finds the headset, but I cannot get it working. Can someone help me?

Problem With Bluetooth Headset
I recently purchased a bluetooth headset from blue ant, model z9i, and it works great on my phones. I decided I also wanted to use it n my windows 7 RC, so I bought a bluetooth dongle and everything with the set up went well. It found it and installed it without a hitch. Now, the problem is, when I tried to use it, it says a problem was dectected and I needed a driver.

It then directed me to the broadcom drivers page, where i downloaded the software update it said i needed, but when I run it, it gets stuck on the "Validate Blue tooth device" part. Tried it multiple times through out the week and still no dice. I even left it running all night but that didnt wor'k either. Is there any other place I could get the drivers?

Bluetooth Headphones Under Win 7
I'm considering the purchase of a Windows 7 Laptop to use for studying  while away from home. I would like to know whether or not it is possible to redirect the sound output through Bluetooth Headphones. Although the laptop has a headphone jack, I would prefer to have cordless headphones.

Additionally, do Bluetooth Headphones all use the same drivers, or does each make/model require it's own specific driver? Could anyone recommend me some Windows 7 Compatible Headphones?

Bluetooth Headset Over RDP
I have a Win2008 Server R2 workstation that connects to a Win7 workstation via RDP (RDS?). I would like to know if it's possible to connect a bluetooth adapter to the Win2008 system and use a bluetooth headset for VOIP purposes in the Win7 system over RDP.

Whew!

I don't have a hard-wire mic to test the new audio redirection capabilities in Win7/Win2008 and what I'm really hoping for is a good bluetooth VOIP redirection scenario.
