HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

HP Pavilion Dv6000 Wireless Card Problem
Since installing W7, my computer hasn't identified my wireless card. In the Device Manager, it doesn't list my Broadcom Wireless LAN card. I tried installing the driver from HP's website (I'm on an HP Pavilion dv6000) but it doesn't do anything. Thoughts?

Graphic Driver Hp Pavilion Dv9700 - BSOD
when I install the graphic driver for windows 7 it gives me the BSOD when I boot up the computer. The reason is the nvlddmkm.sys file that gives the BSOD. The only way to boot it up is to run it in safe mode. I got a hp pavilion dv9700 with nVidia GeForce 8600M GS with 512mb.

Adding An Alternate Display / Graphic Card Driver To Win 7 Setup / Image
is it possible to add an alternate graphic-card driver while/within the setup?Or to merge an alternate graphic-card driver to the image?I have a nVidia GeForce 6800 GT (256 MB) but after the last restart tofinishing the installation, the new win7 boots up (I can see the logo animation)and after a while it turns of the monitor : Can't do any input. And I have to do a cold reboot (CTRL+Alt+Del doesn't work)After a reboot (unclean shutdown or by prssing F8) I can choose a safe startup, but then the setup says that the setup can only be finished after a reboot and anormal startup. But then I have the behavior that I descirbed above.Perhaps a diplay driver replacing will fix this. But hwo can I do this?Perhaps I can merge this in the image? Have the image:"7000.0.081212-1400_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULFRE_EN_DVD.iso" Any help would be appreciate. btw: My Computer:Asus A8N Sli Deluxe (Socke939 with AMD Athlon64, 2GB Ram, SATA HDs)NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (GT) 256 MB ePCI, but Single and not using SLIIiyama S901GT VisionMaster 450 (CRT 19") Asus doesn't provide drivers for Windows 7 (only Vista) and from nVidia I downloaded a beta driver for my GeForce 6800 for windows 7 (181.71_geforce_win7_32bit_international_beta.exe) Vista Business (as 32bit version) works well with my computerand its a multi-os installation with FreeDOS (primary), Vista (primary),Win7 (primary, but not working) and Linux (ext/logic, debian 5.0)

Driver For Ralink Wireless LAN Card On HP Pavilion M9350F
For some reason, Windows 7 does not find any adapters on my computer. I have heard that Netgear does not support Windows 7 yet, (Aren't vista drivers supposed to work on Windows 7 anyway? I have a WPN111 adapter) so I'm using a built in pci-e Ralink for my adapter that came with my comp. I downloaded the most recent driver for it off of HP's site, but when I install it on Windows 7, it comes out saying that my system does not meet the miniumum requirements.

Dv6000 Webcam Driver
I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 in it. Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as ''HP Webcam 1000" and the manufacturer is "Micro Vision" and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen. I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop(HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6238ea Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)) but it is not able to install. It gives an error. There is no available driver for windows 7 for this laptop (or any dv6000 series i think) on hp.com Can anyone help in solving this?

Looking For A New Graphic Card
I would like to upgrade my geforce 7600 GS and was looking at the 9800Gt series, as my card is a silent version I would really like another silent card, Ive had a look around and the only silent one I think will fit my mobo is a Sparkle 9800GT Silent Cool-pipe : Model number : SF-PX98GT512D3-HPL Cool-pipe Graphics Processing : NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT Core Clock : 600MHz Memory Clock : 1800 MHz Memory Type : 512MB GDDR3 Memory Interface : 256-Bit Shader Clock : 1500 MHz Bus Type : PCI-Express 2.0 RAMDAC : 400 MHz This is the only one I think wil lfit the MSI neo FR board I have without obstructing the sata ports. Is this card worth moving to from the 7600GS ? I use windows 7 home premium and the only games I play at present are call of duty 4 and call of duty modern warefare 2. I was thinkig that if this card is a better card, I can donate my card ot my daughters pc instead of the 7300GS that she uses.

Graphic Card Recommendation
Currently I'm working on an rather old PC with an onboard graphic-chip. I just installed Win 7 and it works great - the only problem is, areo isn't working on this machine... and now I'm looking for an cheap graphic card that meets the necessary requirements for aero. I don't play games or use graphic programs, so I really don't need a good graphic card - all I want is areo to work. So, if there are any recommendations on which graphic card I can buy, I'd very much appreciate any hints!

Change Of Graphic Card
I know that to change the Graphics Card, we have to remove(uninstall) the previous drivers, replace the Card, and re-install the new drivers. My (silly) question is: If I replace a Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX with a GeForce GTX285, using the same drivers, do I need to follow the uninstall/re-install sequence?

Eco Friendly Graphic Card
I have M2A-VM motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. with built-in graphic card: Radeon x1250. This card is OK for me since I very very rare play in PC games, but I was wondering if I can improve my Windows 7 experience. As far as I know, Windows 7 uses DirectX v10, my built-in card uses only v9. Also what I want to achieve is less CPU usage (when my x1250 unable to meet certain challenges in Windows 7 then for this calculations is uses CPU) I don't want to buy powerful GPU like the newest graphic cards on the market, what I need is Eco-friendly (uses not too much Watt) better than currently mine graphic card. I was thinking about, for example: Radeon 4670 or GeForce 9500GS but I'm not really sure if they are eco-friendly. What else can you suggest?

PCI Graphic Card - OK For Aero ?
I would like buying a graphic card with a H.264 hardware support for my Pentium 4. This card will be useful for the next version of Adobe Flash Player (10.1) too. Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't have a PCI-E slot : only AGP 4x and PCI 2.2. It can boot with a PCI card as primary VGA and it also supports PCI 2.1 card. As Flash 10.1 is more optimized for Nvidia products and the ATI support of their AGP HD cards is very bad in Windows 7, Vista and even XP (there is no WHQL driver), I prefer buying a DirectX 10 card from Nvidia. But there is no AGP DirectX 10 Nvidia. So, I has to choose a PCI (not PCI-E) graphic card. My current graphic card is a Gigabyte GeForce 6200 AGP 8x. Windows Aero runs but, for example, "Flip 3D" is pretty slow with a lot of windows. My next graphic will probably be a EVGA/Sparkle GeForce 9400GT or Albatron 8600GT. Note : what is the best manufacturer ==> EVGA, Sparkle or Albatron ? But I wonder about Windows Aero : Isn't a PCI bus too slow for Windows Aero ? Compared to my GeForce 6200 AGP 8x (running at 4x due to my motherboard), will 3D Windows GUI (called Aero) be faster or slower with a GeForce 9400GT PCI ? What about GeForce 8600GT PCI ? I worry because PCI bus is slower than AGP bus. In short, will there be performance issues with Windows Aero ? Or not ? Could I sell my GeForce 6200 instead of leaving on my computing (with a PCI card) ?

Dual Graphic Card On Win 7 = Possible?
I was wondering if anyone was able to get 2 different model graphic cards to work on Windows 7. I have an Asus EN9600GT Silent PCIE card and 1 PNY FX5200 PCI. They work by themselves, but as soon as boot the system with both installed, one shows (fx5200) an error saying that the hardware could not start: error code 43. I read somewhere that Microsoft had decided to disable the dual video card on Windows 7 but am not sure how much of it is true? Dual Monitor Graphic Card Suggestions
Currently have FireGL V3350 which there are no ATI-provided Windows 7 drivers. It does seem to work OK though with the automatically installed drivers. Thinking to upgrade to something a bit more up to date, what would the team suggest? This is for basic office/development work with 2 19" viewsonics so need 2xDVI. No gaming and would prefer something with passive cooling. Any thoughts?

Lenovo X300 And X301 - Graphic Card
On the X300 Nearly everything works fine. WWan, fingerprint and HSDPA can be used. The following problems can be reported: - After suspend mode the graphic card driver restarts after flickering a few times (Intel 965 Express Chipset Family, Released WDDM 1.1) - Access Connections reports an error (could not run on this platform), but works fine after pressing OK. On the X301: - No idea how to get the fingerprint reader working. I've downloaded the software from lenovo: no success in any way.   Downloaded the software from AuthenTec (Beta Version), no sign of a connection between soft- and hardware. - No function of the UltraNAV touchpad. Works as a touchpad but i have no scrolling functionality. Any ideas?

Detects ATI Instead Of Nvidia Graphic Card
So I installed Windows 7 32bit a couple of days ago and I have tried to install the drivers for my NVIDIA 8600 GTS ever since without success. I downloaded several versions from nvidia and none of them work. The weird thing is is that according to device manager I've an ATI X1200 installed. I tried uninstalling it and installing nvidia drivers but it still doesn't work. Im clueless, since I have no experience in solving problems with my graphic card. So, if anybody got some tips and things for me to try, I'd be grateful.
