Graphic Driver Hp Pavilion Dv9700 - BSOD
when I install the graphic driver for windows 7 it gives me the BSOD when I boot up the computer. The reason is the nvlddmkm.sys file that gives the BSOD. The only way to boot it up is to run it in safe mode.
I got a hp pavilion dv9700 with nVidia GeForce 8600M GS with 512mb.

I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Graphic Or Driver Problems
I'm having a problem that appeared one morning. I didn't install/remove anyting before, it just happened. The problem : I see graphics problems when i'm playing games, when i'm surfing on the web or even watching a movie. It can go from the windows task bar going all pink to a complete black screen (for 1 second). I even have , sometimes, the blue screen and it automaticly reboots. I was using 185.xx driver and I thought updating that would fix my problems. So I've unistalled them , then reboot and my PC freeze when I'm trying to install the latest one. Forcing me to restart my computer (and it automaticly install some old driver 181.xx , I think). After a few try, I manage to install the latest drivers. Yet, I always have the same graphics problems and always this message appears: It says that the driver wasn't responding and it was "restore". I'm writing from the same OS but in safe mode with network and I don't see any graphic problem so far. If you have any idea what is the problem and how to fix it.

Graphic Driver Needs To Be Updated Every Time
My problem is that i needs to define my graphic card card ATI Asus EAH4890 every time i log on windows 7 and i can't launch any game before i install the ATI CCC ATI Catalyst Driver. This problem effects of the Aero and every time i log on windows it will be disabled.

Compaq Nc6000 Graphic Driver
I have a problem with my HP Compaq nc6000 laptop. everything is working fine with Windows 7 except the graphic driver. It seems HP has no drivers out for Win7 and all i tryed so far didnt work. Do anyone know how i can install a driver for my graphic card? Movies in full screen are very laggy so i would really appreciate if someone have a solution for this.

Graphic Driver For Compaq Nc6000
I've just installed Windows 7 on my HP Compaq nc6000, and i really like the result. Much better than XP if you ask me. Everything is working well except the video. When i watch videos in full screen it looks like its going on low FPS, very laggy. I guess its because of the missing video driver... but i'm not really sure. I got the newest DirectX, and everything is okay, except i cant find a driver for my graphics. i tried download the driver from HP's site, it just says that the driver isn't fitting to Win7..

I have recently installed Windows 7 RC 64 bit on my gigabyte GA-ma69gm-s2h, and so far did not have any problems with hardware or software. The only issue comes when I tried to install ATI WDM Integrated Driver and Catalyst Control Center download from: https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/9-3_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu.exe To be truly, this is a driver for Vista 64 which I have used before, but from the driver name it is clear that it could be for Win 7 64 bit. I could not install that driver, but instead Windows 7 is using its own version 8.56.1.13 from ATI. Is there a way to install a newer (9.3) version of catalyst software and driver?

64 Bit, Gigabyte - Nvidia Graphic Driver Problem
During games like Dofus and specially during Chess the display flickers for a few seconds (turns off the monitor). I have tried updating the Graphic driver from both windows and Nvidia, changed display resolution and performance without any luck.I have also tried to change the power management - also without luck. I can see on this forum that there are others that have problem with Windows 7 64-bit.I have Windows 7 RC 64-bit with Nvidia Geforce 9500GT 1GB Graphic adaptor and Gigabyte EP43-DS3L motherboard.Any suggestions ?

Dell Latitude D400 Graphic Driver Issue
i have a dell latitude d400, intel chipset onboard graphics 1g ram 1.4g processor the drivers install then after reboot they reinstall, i have started in safe mode and removed them so it can reinstall them and the sme loop occurs if i don't restart the display works fine i have plugged in a separate crt and both displays work fine this is the only problem im having i also tried installing drivers at setup but that didn't work either.

Audio Driver For HP Notebook Pavilion Dv2312us
It's not a huge problem, but just found out the WIN 7 audio driver for my HP notebook Pavilion dv2312us will not be available for another 2-3 months. Using the current driver, I get a POP sound when it goes into sleep mode or shuts down. I also don't have a mute function. I hope the POP sound is not damaging to the computer. I was on the driver page for this computer and the Win 7 audio driver is not listed. So then I went into a chat - he gave me a driver that wasn't compatible at all. Had to go back to my other generic IDT driver which causes problems above.

HP Pavilion Zt3000 Network Controller Driver
there is no way to get into the Internet. I tried almost everything like using XP drivers and stuff, even installing in the compatibility mode. But still there is no way - not wired and not wireless. I suppose that my computer doesn't provide any vista drivers because it's way to old. any suggestions to solve that problem apart from just using a different machine;)

Pavilion Zt3000 Notebook Internet / Driver Problem
I'm using windows 7 beta on an old hp pavilion zt3000 notebook built for XP and W2K. Now, I can't connect to the internet according to the device manager there is a "network controller" driver missing. I already tried to use the CD I have, I downloaded stuff from the internet, I tried to install it using the compatibility mode but nothing works. I still can't connect to the internet. It only says it can't get an IP which I think is because of the missing driver. I tried using cable and Wifi but neither of them seems to work. I can't get any vista drivers for my notebook cause it's simply way to old.

is it possible to add an alternate graphic-card driver while/within the setup?Or to merge an alternate graphic-card driver to the image?I have a nVidia GeForce 6800 GT (256 MB) but after the last restart tofinishing the installation, the new win7 boots up (I can see the logo animation)and after a while it turns of the monitor : Can't do any input. And I have to do a cold reboot (CTRL+Alt+Del doesn't work)After a reboot (unclean shutdown or by prssing F8) I can choose a safe startup,but then the setup says that the setup can only be finished after a reboot and anormal startup. But then I have the behavior that I descirbed above.Perhaps a diplay driver replacing will fix this. But hwo can I do this?Perhaps I can merge this in the image? For some reason, Windows 7 does not find any adapters on my computer. I have heard that Netgear does not support Windows 7 yet, (Aren't vista drivers supposed to work on Windows 7 anyway? I have a WPN111 adapter) so I'm using a built in pci-e Ralink for my adapter that came with my comp. I downloaded the most recent driver for it off of HP's site, but when I install it on Windows 7, it comes out saying that my system does not meet the miniumum requirements.

I just installed Windows 7 Beta on my HP Pavilion Dv9000 laptop and everything is working really well, but in device manager I have 2 items listed under Other Devices that say Base Sytem Device. I am assuming I need some kind of driver for them, but I am not sure how to tell what they are or what driver they will need. How do I figure this out? If I get the properties of these devices under the general tab I see Device type: Other device, Manufacturer: Unknown, and Location: PCI bus 9, device 9, function 3.
