HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Since installing W7, my computer hasn't identified my wireless card. In the Device Manager, it doesn't list my Broadcom Wireless LAN card. I tried installing the driver from HP's website (I'm on an HP Pavilion dv6000) but it doesn't do anything. Thoughts?

HP DV6000 Drivers Problem When Installed XP
I have a HP DV6000 I installed win 7 and but xp on after with a dual boot. I had to disable my sata native inorder to istall XP and have to keep it disabled in order to boot to XP or I get the blue screen of death and pc will reboot. my problem is I have no internet, sound and I think no video drivers. any suggestions?

HP Pavilion A810n Drivers
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto my HP Pavilion a810n, but cannot get the XP drivers to work with it. I really only need the network driver to work so I can access the internet. I have tried extracting the drivers to a folder and tried to add it using the "device manager" manually but that does not seem to work. It would also be great to get the motherboard audio/video drivers to work. Not that important since I have an external sound card and an ATI All in wonder Video Card.

My blue-tooth does not work with my HP dv6000 entertainment pc. has anyone else got HP laptops working blue-tooth in windows 7? when I click add new device nothing shows up...and it wont let me even click on the settings icon in the notification area. blue-tooth is turned on and enabled in device manager. anyone know how to fix this?

Dv6000 Webcam Driver
I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 in it. Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as ''HP Webcam 1000" and the manufacturer is "Micro Vision" and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen. I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop(HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6238ea Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)) but it is not able to install. It gives an error. There is no available driver for windows 7 for this laptop (or any dv6000 series i think) on hp.com Can anyone help in solving this?

Battery Driver Issues DV6000
I've recently installed windows 7 onto my laptop but have come up against a problem. I have tried to download the drivers for the battery from the HP site but they won't install. The battery dies in min's without power lead and I'm using a widget to keep an eye on my power.

HP PAVILION Built-in Webcam
Who knows how many people complained for following issue BUILT-IN WEBCAM WON'T WORK UNDER WINDOWS 7RC! All right, I have the same problem, but I just could't find similar thread on any forum. So, I installed win7 RC over win 7 beta (clean install not an update). Everything went smoothly, drivers all found and instaled, device manager showing no yellow exclamation triangles. Every bit of hardware is in place, everything works perfectly according to system diagnostic. BUT, webcam shows no picture. Driver is properly installed and has no collisions with other system resources. Interesting thing was, that camera was working excellent under win 7 beta. I don't know what has changed in win 7RC, but camera just won't start. If anyone has any solution or similar issue, please don't hesitate to post a reply. Oh yeah, my configuration: HP PAVILION dv 6670el Entertainment PC intel core2duo 2.0 GHz 2GB RAM 160GB HDD NVIDIA 8400gs video card HP built-in webcam (at least that's what system information says) 1.3Mpix

Win7 On HP Pavilion Dv9500t
It seems that HP, in their dubious wisdom, has decided not to provide driver support for the entire dv9xxx series of portables. The PC seems extremely capable so I'd like to keep it and upgrade to Windows 7. Has anyone got this combination working? If so, can you provide a source for the drivers?

I tried for several times the installation of Windows 7 RC in my PC Desktop Pavilion b2030br. However, in all of them the computer joined during the last phase of the procedure. Could anybody tell me what to do to heal that problem? I should increase that already tried to do a lot of things, in the different situations, such as: to turn off printer, scanner, joystick, sound boxes, etc.

All but 1 drivers were installed for the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr. The only driver that was missing was the ENE CIR infra-red received. Since it is a Microsoft e-home InfraRed received I think that the driver should be included by default. However, I managed to make it work by installing the Vista driver available.

I just installed Windows 7 Beta on my HP Pavilion dv5t and notice that my quick launch buttons don't work at all. The mute button does work, but does not turn orange when muted (like it did in Vista). I can only tell that it is muted because of the mute symbol that appears in the systray. The volume and WiFi buttons work correctly in Windows 7. I have tried installing some of the HP drivers, but no help. Anyone have any ideas?

if i install windows 7 on hp pavilion dv 1136, will it work? Answer:- It's a beta, so theres no guarantee that it will or wont work. I havent yet checked the specs of that hp machine so currently i cant even make a guess. To re-install XP SP3 you will have to format and re-install from your installation or recovery disks. However, if your looking at installing windows 7 make sure you have backups of all your files. just in case you have to do a full format at some point. Ive just had a quick search to try and find specs of this, and there are a few variations on the model, the graphics appears to be either a Geforce 9200m or intel 852/855 chipset. Install On HP Pavilion TX1420US
I installed Windows 7 completely on my HP Pavilion TX1420US, and it was successful. However, when I tried installing the drivers, there is one unknown device, and when I tried to automatically search and install drivers, Win 7 cannot find it. Is there a way I can know what that device is so that I can install the driver? Tried calling HP but I was told they can't help and call MS. I did and they told me that Support for Win 7 RC1 is not yet provided.

HP Pavilion M9350f Problems
I recently posted a problem relating to my pci-e wireless network card not being detectable at all by windows 7, while when i go back to vista, it works fine. This means I can't get Internet for Windows 7, leaving it useless in many ways. Now I tried every single driver that's listed on HP's website (Select software and drivers*), and whenever I try to install any of these drivers, it always comes saying that my system does not meet minimum requirements. My system is great, (I'll post stats below), so I know it has to do something with the drivers not being capable with windows 7. I tried running all of them in capability mode (Vista, XP, so on), with no luck. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get this Network Card: (Ralink Technology Corp Ralink Technology Corp pci-e network card) to work with windows seven? Maybe Im not using the right driver^^look at website above, so if Im not can someone lead me in the right direction? Overview: My computer's running windows vista and windows 7(on another partition), does not pick up my pci-e network card while running windows 7. I tried the drivers from the website listed above that has all of the latest drivers for my system on windows 7 itself, with each one saying my system is not compatible (9998) <<that must be error code. Tried running them in capability mode, didn't work. They all worked on vista. p.s. i tried driver wizard with no luck. Upgrade On HP Pavilion Dv6810us
I have a HP Pavilion laptop (dv6810us). It's about 1.5 years old, so it came w/Vista. I currently have it dual booted w/7 Premium, and everything works fine except for the display. In the Vista boot, i get 1280x1024, very clear. When i boot into 7, it says it displaying the same resolution, but it looks horribly fuzzy, and the icons are larger. I've tried all display/control panel options thus far, and i've ensured that i have all settings to their highest level. I've searched HP's website for compatible 7 display drivers, but nothing has been released. Is it that my laptop simply cannot handle 7?
