View 2 RepliesI have installed 8GB RAM, 2 TM HDD, AMD 3850 CPU, MSI 75 motherboard, but still I'm getting very low quality video, even the good quality videos which I used to play in my previous computer and same monitor, it was played well. But now it's too low? Why is it so?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed the OEM version of Windows 7, which came with all the basic drivers, but looking at the dxdiag box, my version of the graphics card I have is much older than the one on the ATI website.
I have the ATI Radeon HD 2400 - 1GB the version in dxdiag says 8.632
The latest is v9.9
But I cant seem to remove the old driver to update it, and I know this is incorrect, but should I just install the new one?
HP probook 4530S, running Windows 7 64-bit. I have an AMD Radeon HD 7470M installed. The computer isn't detecting the graphics card. Instead, it's resorting to integrated graphics, which doesn't quite cut it for gaming. [code]
View 2 Replies View RelatedIm using a Amd 6950 2gb. Anyways so i noticed after reinstalling windows that it would hang after the first set of program and driver installs (Anti virus, ccleaner, google chrome, etc etc.) And so I started to figure out where the problem was. Found out that windows will start when I uninstall the graphics drivers. Ive tried hotfixes old drivers.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI assembled this computer from parts bought about 6 weeks ago, have had no problems with it until yesterday. Suddenly, I was experiencing a multitude of graphic glitches and general lag when using the computer. Engaging the graphics processor in any way seems to provoke these glitches. From a fresh restart everything looks good, but if I try to play a video file in VLC I get flickering, flashing screen, freezing, weird purple noise appearing all over the Windows 7 interface. More often than not, the nVidia driver crashes, and it's not only when playing video, performing a "Windows Experience Index Assessment" also produces these errors. So far, I've gotten four blue screens. I'm on Win 7 Professional x64 (downloaded through MSDNAA), with an ASUS GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card. I've tried a few different things already, including:
- Restarting computer, obviously
- Upgrading to the latest beta graphics card drivers (290.36)
- Rolling back to latest stable graphics card drivers (285.62)
I think I noticed the same .dll mentioned in all the blue screens, but I never really had time to confirm this as they occurred. Also, please see the attached "example.png" for a demonstration of the "purple noise". It seems the screenshot was obsolete, since now that I view it on the computer, with no bugs present - it's unaffected by bugs. I don't know what this tells us, but either way, disregard the screenshot.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy comp keeps crashing on me. I've tried all of the trouble shooting i've found here from these forums and am still having problems. I've done about 30 fresh installs of windows in the past 6 months trying to get it to work properly. Doesn't matter if i'm running of my onboard video or my added vid cards. Doesn't matter if I run one or both RAM sticks. Doesn't matter if I run one or both vid cards. The pop up I get in the corner is what I've gone with for looking into trouble shooting. It refers to the graphics drivers crashing and then recovering. Doesn't matter if nothing is happening or not. Can sit fine for days, can turn it on and get 10 seconds out of it before it crashes. If i had any codes that it would give me I would help more on the situation. But when it crashes and doesn't recover I get no video; on either monitor. I'm getting very frustrated, this is the first time I've ever had this happen. This is the 4th computer I've built. First to involve any windows newer then XP. XP doesn't run my comp the way I would like it to. Some of the programs I use don't work with the 64-bit XP OS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed my ATI Radeon X1950 XT sapphire graphics card to my computer. I inserted it into the slot and plugged it in. Now when I turn on my computer the monitor keeps getting the Check Signal Cable error. I have it plugged in properly and everything not sure what is going on.
My computer is a HP Pavilion a1740n.
I am running a first gen Alienware M11x netbook:

Last night, for the first time since I performed a driver update for the graphics card, I switched to integrated graphics to watch a video (mp4) while I had it unplugged. Upon running the video I got the BSOD with the information below:

I tried it again to make sure it would still happen (it did, not a great idea) and tried with the discrete card active which let it run. I also noticed the laptop having some minor issues in other places as well.
i just bought a new video card (EVGA GTX260) yesterday and installed it and played with it with no problem....(one day later)......until now so basically here what happens now. when i boot up it goes through the "starting up" phase and when the window 7 says "Welcome" after that i just get a blue screen, no word no picture just blue!
So i press the reset button and i am only able to go to my desktop menu by safe mode! and if i try to go through "start up computer regular" it would just lead me to the blue plane screen....
The reason why i think it is the driver is because in safe mode i am able to uninstall my nvidia driver. Restart and WOW i am back to my "REGULAR" desktop menu but with no driver. SO as soon as i am on my screen Window 7 wants install the newly detected video card's drivers for me and i do. when i restart BAM! back to the blue screen..
I have really bad lag when running any application that requires full screen mode. I've got the latest AMD drivers that supports my GFX card (Asus Radeon 4850). I used to have a Nvidia card and I would just change one of the settings to get rid of the lag. I changed the Graphics card and reformatted the computer so it shouldn't be a driver issue. I have Service Pack 1 and all the updates for Windows installed. The lag is unbearable for games, so I can't play any games that require full screen, no issues when it's run in windowed mode. I've used FPS monitors while running games (Fraps and MSI afterburner) and the frame rates readings are normal (above 60 always) but it always looks like 20-ish no matter which game I play.
For videos there's always some kind of problem. Used various media players, and different browsers for flash videos but sometime the video skips to the end very quickly, or won't continue playing and halts immediately somewhere along the way. Used MSI Kombustor to stress out the GPU, and it maxes at 70 at 100% load. Directx 10 stress test seems to be blurry, every other test seems fine to run but would have the lag from being in full screen.
Windows 7 video graphics driver free download?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed Windows 7 just fine. The video card on that computer is old, a Radeon 8500. No drivers exist for Vista or Windows 7. Windows 7 used the default VGA drivers. I purchased a new video card, a GeForce 6600, which has Windows 7 driver support. I installed the new video card. The bios screen comes up and post, then it goes to the "starting windows screen", then the computer reboots back to the bios screen.
Any ideas what may be wrong?
I have an XFX motherboard (x58i), model # MD-X58I-CH09. It has three PCIe slots. I have an Nvidia GEForce GTX 260 graphics card in one of the PCIe slots (middle of the motherboard). This is running two 22" displays with no issues at all.
I also have a Asus ENGT430 video card with HDMI output that I want to load into one of the other PCIe slots. When I do this, the computer will not boot properly. It starts (displays the splash screen for windows7), but after that it appears as if there is some sort of conflict. Probably a driver conflict but I cannot even see anything or log in to the PC. Will the mother board support two different graphics cards? If so, what do I need to do to get it to work. I have not installed any drivers for the ASUS graphics card because the instructions have you do this after booting. With Windows7 I didn't think I would have to install anything.
Yesterday I got a PC from a colleague once I started up the PC everything works fine, but since there was a lot of random programs on the pc, I decided to install my own version of Windows, Windows 7 Enterprise on it.When the whole installation was finished the computer started, everything worked fine. BUT the PC did not recognize the Nvidea Geforce 560ti video card. Since It worked fine before I re-installed windows, I am sure that there is nothing wrong with the cables, however I think it is a problem with the Bios configuration. (because that is what changes after a reboot right?)So, I try to change the Bios configuration to, booting both display PCU (i think) and PCI E, but this did not fix the problem.
My suggestions are; either to update the bios, but I'm not sure witch version I need.
Also, I could disable the onboard VGA standard 14mb videocard, but I did not try this because I'm afraid I will get a black screen, and I also read in different posts that the PC will automaticly re-install the standard VGA.I have been lingering around sevenforums for a while, I have always found my solutions here, but this time I'm in really big sh*t.To make things easier I will also post some information about my new PC.
1. Motherboard is from Foxconn, Its a FlamingBlade.
2. The CPU is Intel i7 ( i think.) dual core aswell.
3. Western Digital WD Blue250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
4.550 Watt LC-Power Silent Giant-Green Power Edition Non-Modular 80+
5.Geforce GTX 560 ti oc 1gb ddr5 2xdvi mini-hmdi
6. Corsair DDR3 4GB PC 1333 CL9 KIT (2x2GB)
7. BENQ 2220 HD, 22
At the moment I'm at work thats why I dont have Exact information regarding the Motherboard and the CPU. I will provide this information once I can.how can i get my computer to recogize the video card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had an OEM version of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 installed, and one day my windows started hanging after the windows logo (when the login screen would appear). I hadn't installed or updated any drivers. After being unable to fix the problem through restoring to a system image, startup repair, etc. I reinstalled Windows 7 x64 from a clean iso (no OEM ware). This meant I was missing some drivers. I downloaded the drivers from the Lenovo website, and after installing the video driver, the problem occurred again. The system does however work fine on Ubuntu 12.10 (Linux).
Using:
Lenovo IdeaPad Y560
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730
So when I try to watch recorded TV programs or watch videos. I get an error what says: Video error files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly. Please restart Media Center and/or restart the computer. I have restart both. Not work. I have read several forums and update drivers and uninstall drivers and do everything what there has been. But nothing. I have Windows 7 (32-bit), Ati Radeon HD 5670 1gb video card, 4000gb ram, AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.1 ghz (maybe) 2 CPU's. Its been working before and im not do any big changes to my computer. Only thing what i do is that I installed Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas.

i have heard a lot of my friends saying that they are unable to play high resolution and high definition games on their pc and told that they are on a low budget to buy a graphics card.here is a solution for that:there is a software named 3-d analyzer available in the internet which acts as a virtual graphics card for playing games. you can enter the graphic card needed from the 4 available graphic cards available and then you can get the attributes of that graphic card..if fine tuned, you can play games at the range of a 128mb ram virutal graphic card on your non graphic card pc. note:graphic intensive games, that requires atleast 512mb of graphics memory can't be played through 3d analyzer if you don't have a graphic card, but you can try running it if you have a 256/128 mb card. steps for using the 3-d analyzer software, *first download the file from here, *then extract that software and open the software, *then, select the exe file of the game that you want to run, *choose the select option, *then you can choose the attributes the options you require to play the game,*the attributes may be pixel shader or disable rendering in the game or emulation or some other options specified, *then, enter the device id and the vendor id for the graphics card you need from the available graphics card on the right.*i would suggest the ati radeon 9800pro to run most of the games like fifa 08/09 or prince of persia two thrones/sands of time, *then choose the run option and then i assure that the game would run for you at a decent/playable speed. note:1.if it shows any error that a file is not found pls reinstall the software.2.if the screen turns black/blank then play with the options in the s/w, by trial and error method,if fortunate, may be,you'll be able to run your favorite game.3.if pixel shader/shader version x.x not found, then select the appropriate shader model and run the game. all the best..happy gaming..if any queries post it below.how to: use 3d analyzer video at Internet
