When i play gunbound everything is fine, no lag at all because its kinda a kiddie 3d game.
but when i play combat arms and rakion i lag REALLY BADLY!
i just ordered a 1gb stick of ram and web pages and applications work great.
so i want to know what graphics card i need. ( i also need to know witch one will fit my pc and will work with windows 7 transparency mode, or aero? is it called, im not sure. )
Please send me links to graphics cards for 50$ or less because that's all i have right now =/

Feb 19, 2012how to tweak and disabled transparency, now, my task bar it white and everything looks old. The main thing is when I go to personaization, there is no option to enable transparancy and aero themes are greyed out. I followed some advice on microsoft sites, did some enabling services and registry things, but it is still not there. I cannot even restore to an earlier time because it says a restore piint hasn't been set. I actually JUST upgraded to professional right before I did this.

Oct 18, 2009I am currently looking a way to enable Aero in my machine. (as note, currently I am missing the Aero Glass, Aero Peek, and Aero Flip.
I did a clean install of Windows 7 on the machine. Because my screen is WideScreen, at first the graphics are all large and mushy. But at this point I HAVE AERO!
Then, I installed the driver for the gfx card, which was SIS UniVGA3 v.3.85. After installing and restarting, I get the normal resolution (1280x800) but NO AERO.
I thought this was driver problem, so I downloaded UniVGA5 v5.07, UniVGA5 v5.20 (which is the driver for Windows7, according to the site), and the SiS driver update from Windows Update, all of which didn't enable Aero for me.
I am completely stumped on this. I just don't get why the heck I get Aero WITHOUT driver, but no Aero with drivers.

Fluctuating Internet Speed Through Glass-fiber Connection?
Jan 1, 2013i have officially 100mb/sec speed, however sometimes i am unable to load pages, and download Internet clips etc. the information gets stopped in someway. other times things run fast and smoothly.a speed check was done - its normally over 100mb/sec. but when things are going wrong the test is unable to complete and the test seems to pause for some seconds then speed-up to perhaps 300mb/sec before getting stuck again when it goes to test upload speed.the computer uses no modem, or router - cable runs straight from the computer to the wall contact as instructed.

Jan 8, 2012I'm having issues with new themes, probably just glass themes, when I open a folder, the rectangle where files should show up is blackened instead of transparent. In Gchrome the search field is black, but the start menu works fine.

Everything would be ok if the taskbar would be more transparent. Even thought the transparency is set to max in the window color settings, the taskbar is not that transparent. I think it's because of the theme file. My question is - how to edit the theme file so the taskbar is more transparent?

It displays correctly in XP, when I have Aero turned off and when I have clicked "Disable Desktop Composition" in compatibility, but not when Aero is running.
I'd like to disable aero (or just the titlebar transparency) for only this program but keep Aero running for everything else, is that possible?

Jun 11, 2012I am on a Gateway SX2370.I know i should try a system restore, but i have no restore points and i've had this computer since around last christmas-ish.
This is how it all went down: I was playing a game and since my internet was disconnected, i unplugged my router and replugged it.It connected, but now the windows glass color changed to complete silver.I feared the worst and tried replugging some things fully in since some were loose. My computer automatically shut off, even though nothing completely essential to keeping the system on was plugged out.I turned it back on, only to see HIM, the message of Non-Genuine windows.Here is the MSDiag:

So theres all the technical information. Also, my computer came with windows installed, so i looked that up as well. There is apparently some card on the front of my system that has the Activation code,. All i see on the Front of my computer is a small windows 7 sticker, an AMD Vision sticker, and a Quad Core sticker
After Installing Firefox 18, Firefox 15 Still Shows In "Uninstall"
Jan 10, 2013I recently updated to Firefox 18. If I go to Windows' Control Panel and then click on "Uninstall a program", both Firefox 18 and Firefox 15 show up in the list of programs. Should I just leave it as it is, or should I uninstall Firefox 15?
By the way, I updated to Firefox 18 through Firefox's update feature, if that helps.
