External Graphics Card Causing Slow Home Page Loads

I have a new HP Pavillion Slimline Model s5-1224 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on SP1 with Intel Pentium 2.8 Ghz processor, 6 GB Ram and and a 900 GB (800 GB free) HD. I have an external graphics card (Triton TRI-UV150) connected via USB to accomodate Dual HP 2010 Wide LCD monitors.
When the graphics card is connected to the CPU, it takes upwards of 1-2 minutes to load the homepage (Google). Without the graphics card connection, home page load is almost instantaneous.
I have uninstalled/re-installed the graphics card driver with the help of the manufacturers' tech support and the issue is still not resolved. Manufacturer states that "the driver cannot cause slow page loads" but it only happens when the card is connected to the CPU.
I recently bought an MSI Twin Frozr III 7850 OC and whenever I open any kind of Flash video (x64 BTW) the computer freezes and sound becomes distorted. The only way to regain control of the system is to reboot it. I have no other troubles with it, plays games great, runs quiet, etc. I am running AMD catalyst 10.4, reinstalled driver multiple times, to no effect.
My system specs, if they're relevant: Intel i5 2400 MSI Twin Frozr III 7850 OC Asus P8P67-M Pro Corsair GS 600W Hitachi CoolSpin 1.5TB Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit SP1
I have a broadcom 802.11g PCI wireless card but recently it is giving me a slow connection when on a full bar signal. I then randomly goes back to running at normal speed but then cut out again and goes slow. There is nothing wrong with the connection as it works totally fine on my laptop. I tried a USB wifi adapter at that works fine giving me a fast connection. I been inside the router to make sure all the setting are fine and searched for driver updates etc. I don't think the card is damaged in anyway. I really have no idea why it is giving me such slow internet speeds but then occasionally work fine
When there is also a lot of graphics intense pages open, scrolling via scroll wheel or touchpad is also very sluggish. It takes long time to scroll down, but using scroll bars, it is very good. Is that graphics related? Does it have to redraw differently when you use the scroll bar vs the scroll wheel/auto scroll?
The performance scores on my less than 2 year old computer are :- Processor & memory, both 7.3 Graphics 4.6 gaming 6.1 and hard disk 5.9. I have tried AMD fo poor graphics score, they suggested downloading their latest Catalyst driver suite. I followed their instructions to the letter and, no change. They now suggest that I upgrade to their Firepro range.As a pensioner, I never intend to play games on my computer, but do intend to try and record the family's life in photo slide shows and video, so only need the graphics side of the graphics card to work well.As I seem to have a slow card, I thought I'd go up on the internet and buy a faster one for £50 approx. (I want an AMD/ATI card, as I have an AMD Athlon quad core processor.) Trouble is all the review sites only deal with the gaming speeds of the cards, not the side I would use for video editing.So can anyone tell me, or guide me towards a web site that can, how to choose a reasonably good compatible graphics card that is geared towards video and photo editing
Running Windows 7 o/s. Internet Explorer now loads a "Blank Page". Have removed several malware which highjacked IE. Used Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Revouninstaller programs. Believed to have cleaned Registry correctly.
I have built them formatted them, fixed them added components many many times...This is my issue, Internet explore won't open....well it opens and I get a ap crash notification. I take out both of my different videos cards and use internal video and it does not crash. The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..
I am trialing Macrium Reflect because of its good reputation. I have a simple requirement. Backup to external hard drive (WD Passport), it is USB 2.0. Then use the Windows PE rescue CD to boot up and restore from external HDD. I have been researching this. I know about the lack of USB 3.0 support. But my drive is USB 2.0.
After I restart, or turn off-turn on my pc and go start -> all programs, Windows 7 seems to hang for 7-10 seconds sometimes, then the list appears. After that first "load" of the programs list, it opens normally. I have indexed the start menu, as well as the rest of my drive. Any ideas about what might be causing this?

Stop running this script? check yes or noThis is happening (or at least the only place I have seen it) just on Facebook. I honestly dont understand what it means, and is there anything I can do about it?
I am currently running Windows 7 64 bit on a new Dell Precision machine. I bought this machine with the sole purpose of running SolidWorks. The machine has some serious hardware in it and I know it can handle SolidWorks, but it seems to run slow. Boot up times on the machine are quite long, and occasionally it will just freeze on bootup or ask me to log in multiple times. Things seemed to be slowly getting faster until a few days ago when i installed service pack 1. Since then the speed has been terribly slow. Just to provide more information, most of the files I use in my models are stored on our server locally. I have a 1 Gigabit connection from the computer to our server, but when I access files on the server it takes forever. Every time i want to open a new part or do some interaction between the server it goes terrible slow. Once i have the part opened the computer seems to run fine. We just installed new infrastructure so i know all the wires are good. Like I said, the speeds were slow, but getting better, but as soon as i installed service pack 1 the slow speeds have become unbearable. Anyone have any thoughts? Is this a network problem or a computer problem? It seems weird that service pack 1 would cause it to become so slow. The server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit.
So after I got my stuff all installed and things are working well, I hooked up my router to the new computer and the connection is significantly slower that it was before.
(Sony Vaio) has been extremely slow lately, which I am assuming because the physical memory is constantly high (up to 95% at times) even when I am not doing anything. Below are some screenshots for information. I have tried killing some processes but cannot find one process that is a major problem. 52 Processes are currently running which doesnt seem so excessive. Is it normal to have so much memory reserved for hardware?
First I want to say that the drive works without problems at the correct speed. The problems come upon disconnect. I also want to to stress that USB 2.0 discs are working flawlessly. If I use safe eject and the look in the device manager I get an error 47 saying that it has been shut down but not disconnected, it also says I can rectify it by disconnecting and reconnecting but this does not work. If I do so the drive will not be recognized. The enclosure has a power switch. After a safe eject I have tried both pulling the USB cable while power is still on and also going the other way by first shutting the power down. In both cases the error 47 shows in device manager. When this happens the CPU load goes up to about 20% and stays that way when it before was around 0 at idle. If I reboot the drive reconnects and I have no problem with it unless I try to safely eject it again.
I have a toshiba laptop and I think there may be background programs running because it is very slow. I have window xp and also need to get rid of that and install windows 7?

I use Windows 7 HP and have up to 35gb FIOS download. For the past few days downloading of graphics is really running slow on web pages. Is there something I can do to increase speed.
I recently purchased a new Graphic Card (Nvidia Geforce 670) and ever since I've experienced random freezes and moments where it's drivers stopped working.When the freeze happens It'll remain frozen until I reset the PC and if I've speakers on it'll blow out a nasty BZZZZZZ sound.the freezes appear to occur randomly. It can go days without them and sometimes (like now, I had less then an hour inbetween)In addition to that I quite frequently (daily at least) have my monitors go black and I get the "Nvidia Drivers stopped working" message. If I'm lucky it'll revert back to a previous stage where it worked fine and all I've to do is reboot the programs i'm running. If I'm unlucky, it doesn't stop until i've pushed the reset button.I don't know for sure that it's the new card causing it but considering the circumstances and the issues I'd say it is. Before this card I ran AMD's 6970 without any issues.
I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?
Earlier yesterday I was having an issue where sound was both playing through my laptop's speakers as well as the headphones I had plugged in. Not really knowing an exact way to fix this I went to the device and disabled it hoping that could temporarily solve my problem. Now, I am assuming because of this whenever I boot into Windows 7 I get to the "please wait" screen then instantly get a blue screen every time and I can only boot into safe mode. I found this thread (one or more audio service isnt running) through Google and found that this user had the same issues I was having (I am also getting the audio service error when I run the troubleshooterI believer my speakers are Realtek and when I run dxdiag I get the hardware ID of DAUDIOFUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0272&SUBSYS_1025028D&REV_1000 (I ran this dxdiag in the copy of the Windows 8 dev preview I have also installed to my hard drive)I do have the results from Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 attached but when I ran perfmon /report I got: "An error occurred while attempting to generate the report.The system cannot find the path specified."My copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit came pre-installed on my machine which I got either 2 or 3 years ago, don't remember exactly
I'm using Firefox ver 4.0.1 and my home page is set to "blank". The problem started today. Whenever I click on "Home" on the toolbar I get redirected to a site called "Global Classified--Pasar". I checked my options settings and it is still listed as "blank" for my home page.
just installed two new Windows 7 computers with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.When opening Internet Explorer the home page displays instantly but then if i try and visit other pages (even something as simple as Google) the pages take an age to display.I thought it might have just been the connection but if i try the same pages on a Windows XP machine or on my Mac, they display a lot quicker.
sometimes, and I don't know what causes it, but I don't have the blue ribbon accros the top. I can get the back arrow and :X" by bumping the curser off the top of the screen ,but that is a pain, can I fix that permanently?
When I initially open IE9 instead of opening the home page, opens Microsoft Support Fix it, however, once open clicking the home button brings me back to the correct home page.
Evening all, A search engine home.sweetim.com opens up every time I boot up. I use google as my home page and I don't use emoticons, as an answer on PCA to someone else with the same problem seems to suggest. I have done a virus scan and scanned with SAS, MAM and Spybot S&D but it doesn't show in any of the scans.
