I have windows 7 and keep getting a error 80072efe code while trying to download my new printer, and it will not let me, every time I use a fix says not compatible or they want to charge me?

Then my printer stopped being recognized and Windows reported it was due to code 43. I've tried the normal options - unistall universal bus controllers, take laptop battery out etc but nothing fixes it.

I'm trying to set up a network printer, so I can print from my laptop using my desktop computeer printer. I've set up my wireless computer which uses Windows Xp just fine, and can print from that computer. But when I try to add a network printer on my laptop, as it's finishing installation, an error message pops up saying "cannot connect to printer" error code 0x0000000d. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Is it possible to set up a 64 bit with a 32 bit computer?

I am running Windows 7 and yesterday my wife bought an HP 3512 printer. It has wireless capabilities, so she thought it would be nice to be able to print from other computers or tablets or phones in our house.I originally had issues even getting it to connect via wireless but it is now connected to my router, has an IP address, and if I log into my router, I see its connection. The printer works fine if I have it plugged in via USB. But as soon as I unplug the cable, the printer goes offline. Now, I assumed that by wireless printer, that meant I would not even need it hooked up to my desktop. Maybe I am wrong on that though.But my main issue is I cannot get the printer shared with the homegroup. If I run the printer troubleshooting, it even tells me that the printer is not shared with the homegroup and I should try to have it shard as administrator. So I click that box then it tells me it found but could not fix the issue. It's still not shared. If I go to the printer, go to properties, then sharing, if I try to click share and apply changes, I get an error saying "printer settings could not be saved. error code (0x0000000001) or something. It simply will not go onto the homegroup. If I add it to the homegroup to be shared, would that allow me to move the printer off of my desk and unplug the USB and still be able to print?Also, still regarding Homegroups. My computer is connected via wire to my FIOS router. A laptop in the other room however, connects wireless. They somehow end up in different networks and cannot join the same Homegroup. Both run Windows 7. I have looked and cannot find why they would be on different networks. They were not always this way, I use to be able to see the laptop on my desktop but no longer can.

Ive tried several different files, and have also tried using firefox instead of IE8.
i recently got a computer from my aunt, and decided to put windows 7 on it. Before I installed it, I put in a Geforce 8800 graphics card and a (2nd) cd rom drive. After 20 failed attempts to install windows 7 (it kept freezing at the completing installation part) it worked after i disconnected the new graphics card and one of the hard drives. Now, however, i keep on getting periodic blue screens with the following error messages : Memory Management, and PFN_List Corrupt. I ran a memory diagnostic and it said that the memory is fine. What is wrong with my computer? I also ran a system repair thing from the windows 7 disk, and it came up with this error: System File Integrity Check and Repair Error Code 0X490

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing BSOD at random times. This is frustrating because I am pretty sure I eliminated all the possible reasons for my computer to Blue Screen. I changed my motherboard, I scanned my hard drive, got all the drivers for my video cards, etc. I also checked my ram one by one.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. The crash took place in the Windows kernel. I having a popular problem 643 and I have tryied several sugestions but the problem still exist.The first of many updates that fail was on 6-10-2012 Framework4 KB2656351 plus 8 or 9 more with different numbers.I got this information by clicking on display updates, I do not know if that is the right way to get the code name for the updates or if there is other way.
