Downgrade Windows 7 Home-premium 64bit From DX11 To DX10 For Compatibility?
Oct 12, 2010I want to use Dungeon&Dragons online in 3-Dimensional setup with IT3Z drivers on ATI RAdeon HD5870 graphic card.IT3Z gives a compatibel 3-D output for DX9 and beta DX10. First I got only error messages, but then installed DX9 in addition to DX11.And know I can use the DX9 ITZ� version with windows 7.But I want to use the DX10 beta version, too. But I cant find a DX10 for windows7?

Oct 4, 2011On my pc i can't run dx10 games. Maximum frame rate i can get is 2 fps. In BFBC2 when i switch to dx9 everything works fine. In Red Faction Armageddon too.My specs are:
-Windows 7 64bit
-Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 @ 2.5ghz
-2GB of ram
-Gigabyte GTS250 1GB
I can't run Bioshock in normal frame rate at all. And when i had Vista and 8800Gts i was running it fine.The games run like a sideshow even in menus/intros/made by etc.I tried installing newest drivers/beta drivers/oldest drivers i could find from Nvidia site. Drivers from Gigabyte site. Clean install after removing drivers with Drive sweeper didn't help. In most games i can switch to dx9 but with Battlefield 3 coming that has no dx9 support I can't even play beta.
GeForce 9600GT Full Screen DX10 Issue
Oct 19, 2009I cannot get fullscreen DX10 games to stay that way. DX9 versions of these games work fine, but when DX10 is used a single tray popup from any messenger that someone has signed in or out takes me out of fullscreen. Desktop composition visual themes compatibility mode and updating DirectX did not help. Does anyone have any ideas?
OS: Windows 7 RTM x64
Latest nVidia drivers though problem has persisted since installing Windows 7 through all driver updates.

Apr 13, 2010i use my old nvidia geforce 9600gt card and i am currently making it run with win vista sp1 x86 ultimate.with the superb reviews of windows7 floating,i am thinking of upgrading my OS to win 7.will i be able to run all my older applications and games requiring dx9 and dx10 on a dx11 based OS?...and will my GPU support dx11(since me not knowing the backward compatibilty)

I have tried system readiness tool, and also microsoft fixit program. neither have worked. Have checked in services that windows upate and base intelligence are running and on automatic. i have tried a clean boot to see if that would help. have deleted 7gigs worth of unnecessary files and still nothing.

I went to download software for my mouse and i get the run/save window and whether i click run or save as soon as i click it the window goes away as does the download progress window that was behind it. The file is never actually downloaded, i even tried the save option and then searched the computer for the file name. It isnt anywhere, all windows updates are completed. What is the reason i wouldnt be able to download from the internet.
How To Download IE8 For Windows 7
Apr 6, 2012Friend is having 2 relatively minor problems with his 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium laptop.
The first is that he was not able to access Windows Mail using IE9 which came preinstalled. I assumed it was a https problem, because the site is a secure one, but I was able to access other https sites with no problem. I did the whole reset IE without any change.
Then I downloaded Firefox, and was easily able to get to his Live Mail. So I figured the problem was IE9, which I dislike (MS is getting like WalMart - moving things like Favorites and History from one place to another. And who thought it was a good idea to use the address to search?).
I rather assumed that although IE9 came preinstalled, IE8 would pop up once I removed it. WRONG. It eliminated Internet Explorer from the taskbar, and rendered the executable unworkable. So I re-checkmarked IE9 and it was at least available, although the problem with Windows Mail remained.
Then I went to the MS site to get IE8. It is no longer available from them for Windows 7. Google searches brought up other sites, all of which eventually led me back to the original MS page.
Do you think the Windows Live mail problem is IE9 related? Is there an easy way to get IE8 for Windows 7?
