View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking for 64-bit Epson Twain Drivers for Win 7 and Win 8 for Epson Expression 10000XL scanners! Epson did not follow and give a 64-bit version, they stayed at 32-bit...
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe scanner is an Epson Perfection 1650 (some years old but OK with 32bit) but my searches have failed to finf a driver to work with Win 7 64bit.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am unable to get an Epson Perfection V600 Scanner working. I've tried the latest Epson 32- and 64-bit drivers, VueScan. I'm getting a message from both that the scanner can't be found. I have uninstalled and re installed many times.

View 2 Replies View RelatedW7 RC 64bit. Haven't been able to us my Epaon Prefection 2580 Scanner, either native or XP mode. Has anyone had success with this scanner? Are their generic W7 64 twain drivers.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't, after switching to 32-bit Windows 7, get my trusty, faithful Epson Perfection 640U to work. XP was fine, no problem, but it seems to me that Epson have (has?) abandoned this fine scanner as there is no 640U listed in the Microsoft Support section @ EpsonPerhaps there is a driver in the Microsoft Support section, intended for another Perfection scanner that would work? I'm this close to downgrading to XP or else grapple with a virtual XP installation inside Windows 7. Which is slightly less pleasant than having teeth pulled. W/o the benefit of anesthetic
View 9 Replies View RelatedHave been using Windows 7 RC 64bit system with no major problems except i cant get a driver for an Epson Photo Scanner. Epson have said no driver until the official release of Windows 7. Is there some way around this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWindows 7 Pro 64bit
Intel DP55WB
i5-750
4GB DDR3
Have installed XP mode, & V PC.
Have installed Epson Perfection 1250 Scanner in XP mode.
I am unable to access the scanner dfrom windows 7.
I have to restart XP mode, USB/Attach scanner. Then i can use the shortcut to the scanner from Win 7, but i then get error message;
Windows XP Mode - Windows Virtual PC
To open a virtual application, the virtual machine must be closed
Click Continue to open the virtual application. This will close the virtual machine and you will lose any unsaved data.
To avoid losing data, click Cancel and save any unsaved data. Then, log off from the virtual machine and try again.
[V] See details [Continue] [Cancel]
Once it has closed i can then use the Scanner. Which is fine for that session. Once i restart win 7, i have to go through the same again to be able to use the scanner.
Is this right.
I note that whenever i close XP mode, and then reopen i have to do a USB/Attach for the Scanner.
There are no 64bit win 7 drivers for the Scanner, hence XP mode.
Need to download a driver for my Epson 1250 scanner for my Windows 7 64-bit laptop
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to scan transparencies for the first time after connecting my Epson 1670 scanner to a Win7 PC. It takes a good preview scan of the whole assembly but not the individual slides as on my old PC (so the cables connecting to the PC and the scanner head still work OK).
I checked the Help, and the document cover's cable seems to be connected OK too (I never had an Auto Film Loader), but the options for transparencies don't appear in the menu.
Before I start testing with an XP laptop, which will need the driver installed, or fiddling with alcohol on the connections, does the Win7 driver for the Epson 1670 in fact support transparencies?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my new Kingston 128GB SSDNow V200 (SV200S37A/128G) and Asus M2N32-Sli Deluxe motherboard. The CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ and I also have connected a Palit 9500GT graphics card via the primary PCI-E slot, PSU is Enermax 485W.I have the whole setup with a traditional hard drive working just fine in Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3, what I am trying to do is switch over to using the new SSD with a fresh install of Win 7 Ult X64.The problem I am having is freezing/hanging when either on "Expanding WIndows Files" at 80% or usually on "Installing Features", either the cursor won't move or the dots next to "Installing Features" stop moving completely.. and I can just leave it for hours and nothing happens.
I have tried so far including combinations of each of these; Installing from DVD drive Installing from USB drive Installing from USB drive with slipstreamed SP1 Using PS/2 keyboard and mouse Installing with only one stick (2GB) of RAM, or two sticks (4GB) of RAM or four sticks (8GB) of RAM, or different pairs (4GB) of RAM Updated motherboard BIOS to latest beta version Swapped graphics card for another PCI-E card Swapped graphics card for a PCI card Installed on another PC.. worked fine on that PC (previous generation motherboard) then swapped to this machine but when Windows 7 has loaded it reboots the PC.. repair doesn't do anything just runs and runs finding nothing Installed Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3 and all fine.. why won't Windows 7 install? Checked firmware of the SSD which is completely up to date Tried all 6/6 SATA ports Tried 4 different SATA cables Tried the SATA RAID port but no luck as driver won't install on Windows 7 installation due to it being "unsigned" I am very confused because surely if the SSD was incompatible with my motherboard then Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3 wouldn't have installed and been working apparently flawlessly?
I just recieve an email from epson with alink to their site for drivers to quite a few of their all in ones, printers and scanners. Fabe www.epson.com/support/windows7
