I have a UAD Quad PCIe card (A card for music making, not a soundcard tho), which my computer can't find.It has a LED light that indictates that it's getting power from the computer and so on.

I am looking for a radio tuner card that is windows 7 compatable that can tune or record AM radio bandwidth also if it can detect other bandwidth that would be an added bonus

I tried to start the computer with the video card in the second PCIe slot (PCIe 3.0, 8x), but I got no video signal to my screen with both the motherboard output and the video card output. Is it actually possible to run a single graphics card out of a PCIe slot which isn't the primary one?

USB 3.0 card do not want to work (system do not find it - no USB 3.0 controller). Other PC Ie cards (modem ...) work with this adapter and USB 3.0 card works in other notebooks with PC Ie bus (without adapter). Is it possible that the card and adapter (from the same producer) are not compatible?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Foxconn A7DA-S motherboard that has 2 PCIE x16 slots. They each run at x8 if I use Crossfire.
My question is, does it matter which slot I put my single radeon 5770 card in? If I install the card in 2nd slot instead of the 1st slot, will it still run at x16 as long as I don't use crossfire?
I ask this because I am trying to make room for a PCIE x1 tv tuner card.
I'm trying to install the Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 XT graphics card, however, when I place it in the PCIe slot, I don't get any video. The card only has two DVI outputs. The mother board is a Gigabyte ga-k8n51gmf-9 with an Nvidia 6100 integrated graphics. I can get a signal with VGA off the on board graphics, and I disable it, then try and install the new card and I don't get any signal from either the card, or the VGA output (Integrated). When I take the card out, I get a signal from the VGA again...Also, the CMOS battery had to be replaced. I'm wondering what settings need to be changed. Its an Award BIOS F7.

On my test box which currently runs the RC build of windows 7. I decided to install the latest stable version of the nvidia drivers, since my production pc also uses nvidia I wanted to test it prior to installing windows 7 on my production pc.
The driver that was shipped with the RC build is stable enough, no problems with it. I installed the driver from nvidia's website and noticed problems immediatly.
If I browse a website that has animated flash and also if I move the mouse pointer around then the entire screen flickers, sometimes just the flash flickers.
If I downgrade the driver the problem goes away, upgrade the driver the problem comes back.
Has anyone else suffered from screen flickering when using internet explorer with flash content on windows 7?
I am hoping this is a RC bug that does not exist in the RTM build.
The card in question is a pcie 7600GT, supported by nvidia in windows 7.
ive been revieving some stutter noticibly when playing and form of video or audio and it has been getting worse as of late. Overall performance has dropped as well.Ive tried using Latency Checker and Latencymon and Realtek Ethernet Diagnostics Utility to try and diagnose the problem and the closest thing ive come to is that it has something to do with 'Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller' as when I disable it the stutter appears to vanish and latency readings drop however I need that to connect to the internet so keeping it removed is not really an option.I have tried using a variety of drivers and methods from this forum and others and none have come to be of any use as of yet. View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having an intermittent problem with my network connection dropping out for no apparent reason.When it drops, I still see the lights blinking on the NIC card, but cannot pass packets even to the router.Windows does not report the connection or the cable as disconnected when this problem is occurring.The problem will persist until I disconnect and reconnect the CAT-5e wire, or disable and re-enable the NIC.As soon as I do one of those 2 things, connectivity immediately returns (and works for another hour or so).I am running a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an HP Pavilion.All of the latest Windows updates and the latest firmware drivers are installed. View 2 Replies View RelatedI was having a problem with dual monitor using 7127 build. But only when I use newest NVIDIA drivers. My tv just flashes a few times, and I can see that fish a couple of times, but then it just goes to like no signal. If I use default drivers which are installed on windows install, then it works fine, but then I dont have NVIDIA control panel and some other features.
My video card is GF 8800GTS 650M 512MB DDR3 DUAL DVI TV PCIE. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem and If it has been fixed in the newest build, so I could be arsed to do a clean install.

It should pick up the desktop pc and also the NAS i have attached to the router as well. I can map a drive to the NAS but cannot see it in the network view. I can also open the web based browser to the NAS and the router.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave recently purchased a small usb inspection snake camera with led light and when testing it plugged it into two desktops computers (one xp pro not sure of the other as it was a network work computer) It automatically loaded the drivers and brought up a screen automatically with the realtime image.(no driver disc came with it). However plugging into my windows 7 64bit sony laptop it signals a connection beep, loaded drivers automatically but wouldn't open or show up on my computer disc manager as an external usb source to click on. It does however show up on device manager as a usb camera and when I unplug and replug in it disappears and reappears so I know I have the right camera (not the lap top webcam inbuilt one that shows USB 2 Camera). Have tried updating drivers automatically and uninstalling it etc. Need it to work on the lap top so it can act as the movable screen for it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a new Dell Precision T3400 which the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor says I can run the 64 bit version of Windows 7 on.I am running XP pro 32 bit version on it. Dell told me I would need to run my 64 bit disc by hitting F12 when rebooting to boot to the disk. The computer then asks me if I want to run from my array or from a usb or cdrom. I choose the cdrom and then is says it cannot start from that drive or some such error. Dell and I did these things:made sure the dvd was an option as a boot drive in Setup.Updated the bios on the drive and the computer itself. this did not work so they replaced the dvd drive. It still will not boot the disk. I tried my xp disk, and the computer WILL boot from it. Dell said its the disk.

A friend shipped me a used computer. During shipment a wire had come off the main HD. I did try to start the machine without knowing the wire was off. I got the "bootdevice" message. After talking with my friend I found and replaced the wire. I tried doing a "repair" using F8 but no luck. I can however use the option to "start my computer using the last known etc." Everything works fine, but when I shut the machine off I get the "can't find bootdevice" again when I restart. What do I have to change in my bios settings to make the machine boot normally?

After the reinstall of Windows I am not able to set the proper resolution of my Dell 1909wf (widescreen monitor) the proper resolution of 1440x900, I am not able to select it.I have my monitor connected though VGA as that is the only connection on my computer. When I go in to Device Manager, I have a little warning triangle next to Intel (R) 4 Series Internal Chipset. When I click on properties of the Intel 4 chipset, the error is: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.I have downloaded the drivers for the graphics card and for the chipset directly from Dell by entering the service tag and have rebooted my computer several times with no success. I have even had Windows search for the latest update and It says I have the latest driver installed.I also have a warning triangle on Intel (R) Management Engine Interface. Keep in mind that my computers graphics card worked great and had the proper drivers on 7 before the hard drive was re-imaged. I have other 760s with the same specs and monitors that have no issues.

When I go to install Windows 7, it tells me it can't find the CD/DVD device driver.The driver is a SonyNEC Optiarc 20x AD-7190A model. Found the latest firmware (v 1.05); installed it.Still not able to locate the drivers upon install.
