Clicked Graphic Properties - Unextended Desktop
Jun 12, 2011I right clicked my desktop and clicked graphic properties it said unextended desktop or something, i switched it to monitor now I cant see anything. I have windows 7 btw.

Where Are 'Graphic Properties'
Dec 27, 2011I'm running a game at the moment, which is leaving two black bars on either side of the screen when trying to play it. Anyway, I know that to fix this I need to go into the Graphics Properties and change some of the scaling settings.However, I cannot find the Graphics Properties anywhere. Some people are saying that I need to right click on the desktop and select it, but it isn't there when I right click.Basically, could somebody inform me on how to access the Graphics Properties so I can change my scaling settings please?

Mar 30, 2012I have Windows 7 Starter on HP Notebook and had IE7. IE wouldn't open when I clicked on the icon. Only opens in safe mode (with networking). I ran malware in normal and safe mode, nothing appears wrong. I ran latest updates and thought I had IE8, but no internet access for updates to work. IE still won't open in normal mode. In safe mode, I ran fixit, even reset internet, to no avail. I even ran regsvr32urlmon.dll and Shdocvw.dll without success.

Upon booting up, i tried to open any program shortcuts on the desktop but multiple windows prompt me whether i want to delete the shortcuts. Any files or folders i clicked it happens too. Apr 14, 2012I have a folder in My Documents that doesn't open up (other folders in my computer works fine). I double click on it and it makes that clicking sound and flashes for a sec but nothing opens up. I can only look at what's in the folder by using Word 2007 then open and select all files. I scanned it with AVG and there's no virus. Most of the stuff in there are not downloaded, it's mainly documents which I typed on this computer, and the few things that have been downloaded I have opened before and there never seemed to be a problem until recently. I made a copy of the folder to an external hard drive and funnily that opens up. I tried to delete the original folder in my documents but it says folder in use and won't let me delete it.

Dec 13, 2011I have sent in my computer to get repaired and got it back yestersay. Since then i've been trying to get it to work properly again.I can't play any of the games I used to play before I sent it in to get repaired (for example, Battlefield 3). I can start dota2 but it looks pretty messed up. My computer shows me that I have an nvidia geforce 7025 nforce 630a graphic card.Although it says in the computer description that it SHOULD have a AMD HD 6870 1GB GDDR 5. My screen isn't plugged in the graphic card, since it doesn't recieve anything from there. It is plugged directly to the motherboard.So, from what I understand the nvidia card is the integrated graphic card or am I totally wrong?Anyway, the device manager can only find the nvidia card and I cannot run any game smoothly on this computer.Before I realized this possibility I've tried to download newer drivers for the nvidia card, but it didn't help.

And I was searching for a well known social web hosting forum.That I was visiting two weeks ago and had no problems getting onto that site then. I will not tell you the link as I do not want anyone else to click on it, as it is not safe.But I clicked on the link from Yahoo search engine but instead of putting me onto the website. I was redirected to a blank page,that said I have got viruses and it needed to scan my computer.And it just closed my web browser,without warning, and started scanning.I tried to stop it but I could not, so I quickly shut down my computer as this brings everything on my computer to a halt. And then I turned my computer back on again everything seemed normal.But I did a scan with Windows Defender and MRT-Malicious Software removal tool,just in case. And it never found any viruses or malware. And using system restore to put my computer back in time to BEFORE the event happened helped,I think.
But when I went round to two of my friends house,the same thing happened to them on their computer.When they tried to go onto that website. And I tried some computers in the Internet cafe. And the same thing happened,so it was not just my computer.But am I right in that the website I visited was trying to install,spyware,a virus or malware on my computer and someone elses computer as well?As I explain the website is a well known and genuine website that I have visited in the past,well two weeks ago in fact. But now it redirects to that page which seems IS trying to install spyware on an unsuspecting persons computer. And it is not just my computer was trying to do it on.So am I right was it spyware or a computer virus,that, that redirect was trying to install on my computer? And if so is there anything we can do about it?As I reported the website link to Google and Yahoo and they have not taken it off of the search engine.
Damaged Hard Drive Clusters - Windows Icons Appear But Empty When Clicked
Feb 28, 2012I have my mothers dell inspiron laptop at the moment When you turn it on it cascades the message "Failed to save all the components for the file \\System32\\00002ed7. The file is corrupted or unreadable. This error may be caused by a Hardware Problem." A system check box then appears and does a scan. When you press Fix Errors. Its unable to fix 9 errors and you have to purchase the full version. Virus maybe????? I am unable to delete the system check box from the system tray. The screen is just a black background and all the icons have disappeared. When I press the windows icon and all programs the file icons appear but when I click on them they say Empty.
