My printer won't print on paper. It keeps telling me it is out of paper....it's not. It tells me to load paper into the cassette, it doesn't have a cassette. The paper loads in the back of the printer, just off the top. It has plenty of paper.

I preparing a display that requires printing very light ink on black paper. I have tried white, although a lack of ink makes sense on white paper, yellow and light orange. Looking very closely at the finished sheet I do not see any evidence of any ink being deposited. However, I can see evidence of black being deposited. The printer is a HP PhotoSmart Premium C310a. Incidentally, my Hp series D2600 acts the same way. Both printers print all colors when white paper is used.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCan't get CANON BJC 210 to print from XP MODE. Everything goes to PRINT QUEUE, and there appears no connection or communication with the LPT port. Windows print troubleshooting no help, and even printing attempts from command prompt results in nothing happening. Printer responds normally to beeps from holding down the power button, but nothing from print tests or commands from the computer.XP MODE works fine otherwise.I've made sure printer is online and tried unplugging and plugging back in the power supply several times.This particular printer model won't install in WIN 7, but worked perfectly in WIN XP prior to upgrade. Also careful to inactivate the USB option during installation with updated driver.

It still copies the screen to the clipboard for a paste into paint, but I can't figure out why it's bringing up the dialog to print or how to turn that off. I mounted a Vista x64 ISO-image/source, extracted the folder with the canon printer drivers and installed the Colorpass Z40e driver under Windows 7 x64. In my case I used this driver für a Canon Colorpass Z400e (Canon CLC 1100).
Extraxct :
- use 7zip
- under options check "wim"
- open the install.wim an verify your vista version (important if there is a 64bit and 32 bit version on the same DVD, in my case there was only a 64bit on the systembuilder DVD)
- choose the right folder and extract the canon printer driver folder with 7zip

Upgraded desktop to 64-bit and discovered that my Canon LiDe80 and Canon PIXMA iP4000 drivers are incompatible. So after some research and not sure how accurate, I read that the professional version would allow more of the 32-bit drivers to work.
Is that correct?
how do i print to pdf? is there anything similar to the print to PDF addon for firefox. i also can't print when using xps nothing happens when i click save and don't have the option of printing to file. i can't check the box i would rather save to PDF though. no printers installed,XPS writer is set as default printer.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi am having an issue i have two wndows 7 home premium computers in seperate offices and when i remote desktop to the offsite one i am unable to print to the printer on site.
I have enabled the printer sharing and added additional driver support for the printer. It shows up when i am connected as redirected 2 and i can access all of the properties and other menus. However whenever i print to the printer the job never makes it. It does not matter what program i am in i have tried word excel notepad the test page firefox and nothing comes to the printer. The printer is not directly connected to the computer it is a local network install and works fine from all computers in the office just not with Remote Desktop.
I just installed Adobe Professional 7.0 which of course allows me to print pdf files. It requires a certain printer port that is being used by another pdf program that came with HP Elite HPE Series computer. I believe that pdf program is called PDF Complete 'Special Edition'.
This is the error I get when trying to print using Adobe Professiona: Error "Warning 20225" or no PDF Printer appears My question is how do I change the default pdf printer device to use Adobe's?
Suddenly since this afternoon I have not been able to print from any browsers. I am able to print test pages to the printer and print from any other applications (word and excel).

I have a toshiba laptop and it is running windows 7 with internet explorer 8 and I am not able to print from the internet, I get a error that says script error. I am able to print from all other programs and have called my printer company they say there is no problem on the printer side and all drivers are updated for the printer.
