Cannot Uninstall/reinstall Intellipoint 8.2?

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, and I have a Microsoft X6 sidewinder keyboard. Most of it works but the volume control does not work and I'd like to fix it.I did have Intellipoint installed and indeed there is a directory full of it's stuff in program files, but driver wise I seem to be using some generic microsoft HID drivers, however I cannot delete the intellipoint folder in program files, windows claims it is in use.I don't have intellipoint in my list of installed programs.If I try to install IP8.2 from a fresh download it says it cannot proceed as it is already installed.

Just went from XP to a new Dell Windows 7. I have a multi-function printer that used CD drivers on XP, but with Windows 7, I had to install the printer with Windows Update and a scan utility from the manufacturer's web site. All of a sudden after a month, I can't scan, so I want to uninstall/reinstall the printer. How do I do this when it was installed with Windows Update? I see a list of drivers in the DriverStore/FileRepository folder. Do I delete those so Windows Update can reinstall them, or were they already there when I bought the computer?

I have an HP Photosmart Premium C309 that was a bit of a bitch to install on 7, but it's been working great for the last several months.A couple of days ago it stopped working. I deleted everything from the print queue and tried to print a test page.Nothing. Stuck in the queue again. I deleted the job and clicked on devices and printers off the Start menu. No HP C309.I remembered that the original installaion CD was pretty much useless, since it was not engineered with 7 as a choice. I downloaded the installation software from the HP site. Still a no go on printing - item stuck in queue.I redeleted, and checked the Devices and Printers. There WAS an HP C309 listed, but it had (Copy 1) suffixed to the name. I deleted the printer and clicked on the 'Add Printer' tab on that page. I eventually got a message that the software for the printer had already been installed.I reinstalled again, adn then tried to rename the printer - minus the (Copy 1). The system would not allow me to rename, saying that a printer with that name was already installed on the computer.

I have 3 ssd's. 60gb 120gb and 256. Currently the60 is not installed and may still have data on it from a previous pc build. Windows is installed on the 120 right now with the 256 being a second drive for my steam games. I want to erase all data on all of the drives and install windows onto the 60gb (new c drive) and make the 120 and 256 an e and f drive. Here are some of my questions.Should i hookup the 60gb drive so my pc recognizes it and then go about reformatting and erasing all data from the 3 drives? Except the os.Then after erasing all data do i delete the partition from the 120gb drive and reinstall to the 60gb drive?Does installing windows to a drive automatically default it to the c drive?

my webcam is not recognized, its an internal webcam for Hp pavilion g4 windows 7 homepremium 64 bit. tried evrythn updating the system and drivers and restoring but still it bot recognized when try using the youcam nor skype for the webcam. curious abt the usb thng uninstalling all usb frm the device manager what of this that is interial will it reinstall after restarting cause i restated the notebook but still not recognized and all.

how to uninstall/reinstall my audio card driver. I'm using a HP Mini netbook (windows 7 starter). I use this Netbook mainly for browsing and watching netflix. I spend a lot of time in a motel. When I'm trying to watch a movie the Audio is faster than the video (The words are already spoken, but the characters haven't said them yet). Ever since I've updated the Intellipoint software to 8.01, I've fallen prone to this random reset to factory defaults from my current custom button settings on my Trackball Optical. The funny part is that the functions will return to default but when you open the settings control panel, they still show the custom settings as shown in the picture below. My exact custom settings:

My question is are these neccessary and why are there multiples? Wouldn't that in itself cause software conflicts?They came from various games off steam and other programs such as drivers and editing software.I don't understand why it stacked so many, I mean wouldn't it be better to uninstall all the versions and reinstall the most up to date versions? I went this route last time and afterwards I got side by side errors. I just don't want software conflicts so I ask the experts here, is it safe to remove these?

I am trying to upgrade from Vista 32bit to Windows 7 32bit but in the installation process the compatibility report/upgrade advisor says:
These programs might not work properly after the upgrade. We recommend uninstalling these programs before upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel, and search for "uninstall a program". (Note: Programs marked as * can be safely reinstalled after the upgrade.)

My problem is when I click Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features, I see ATI CATALYST Install Manager (3.0.710.0) and I can completely remove it but for ATI Catalyst Control Centre I can't even see it.
So now I�m stuck on what to do next because I don't want to install windows 7 if it recommends me to uninstall ATI Catalyst Control Center. What should I do?
Just to let you know: On the windows 7 compatibility center online I search software, ATI and it says both ati install manager and catalyst control center are compatible but when i run the upgrade advisor these programs appear. (as shown above)
Any ideas/comments will be much appreciated thank you.

ATI Catalyst control center is 2.0.0.0 shown in upgrade report.
I right click ATI icon bottom right and select 'about' and it says version 2009.0515.32.42252

I recently had a problem with trying to uninstall the ASK toolbar from IE9. I could not do this, even with advice. I then uninstalled the IE9 and tried to reinstall it. I have downloaded IE 9 Windows 7 x86 enu exe, When trying to install it I am informed that the process can not be completed because a later version is installed.

I downloaded a voice changer, thinking it would be funny to trick my friends. I realized it was a piece of crap, so I uninstalled it with no problem. I had Windows XP on one of my laptops and installed Windows 7 on a seperate partition to see how it would cope. Well.... it doesn't cope at all.I have the dual boot screen when I start the laptop and the default is of course the last O/S system loaded. i.e. Windows 7.Unless I am quick enough to change the bootup, it tries to load Windows 7. And when I say tries, I mean 'tries'. Windows will load after about 20 minutes but is unusable. Nothing will respond. Nothing will function.I cannot change the boot sequence on XP. I have to 'be in' Windows 7 environment to edit the boot sequence, but I cannot get there.How do I either competely uninstall 7 or at the very least change the boot sequence without 'loading' Windows 7?

Running Win7 Pro 64-bit In trying to install SP!, I find that KB2482017 .mum and .cat are corrupted. KB2482017 is a "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer." I've tried to use the "Programs and Features" to remove it, that fails. I've found a "FixIt" associated with the issue and that fails.
