Cant Log Into Computer Windows 7 Wrong Password?
Apr 18, 2011my computer wont let me log into my profile, on the windows sign in screen it has my bros profile and other users icon but mine isnt there and if i put in my name and password is always says either my password or name is wrong, i went into the administators account and took off my password and then retried logging in but still no luck, i've never had this problem before but all my college work is on the profile

Sep 24, 2011I have a toshiba satellite L505 it boots I get the password screen it's blue looks more like bios password it certainly not the windows boot splash screen I have tried a couple of password freebies it won't recognize cd rom, or flash stick...it goes directly to the old blue screen box like if you are resetting you use the f2 f8 f10 f12 key as booting, but that even asks for a password?

Dec 31, 2009I have set up a Windows 7 machine that shares out a hard drive as a network share along with printers to our network. On another computer I was mapping the network drive and accidentally entered the wrong credentials (wrong user name) and choose the remember credentials setting, and it would not let me map the drive.
I tried to go back in and remap the drive again but Windows is remembering the user name/password and I can't map it. I can map the drive from any other computer just fine. Does anyone know how to make Windows forget the credentials so I can map the drive?

Jan 31, 2012A few days ago, I plugged my iphone into my laptop and my computer froze up. I hard booted it and the computer booted up to what looked like the screen that you get when you hard boot it, I went ahead and pressed F1 to resume and what looks like a bios password box comes up asking me for a password. I never put a password on the Bios. So I tried to use my login password and got a password failed message. I tried again and the computer flashed and turned itself off. I turned the computer on again and I get to the Toshiba loading screen where you can select F2 or F12, I select nothing and it brings me to the password window.
I pulled the HD and was able to hook it up via serial to my other laptop and save all my stuff.
I'm at a loss of what to do, I have read some of the other posts and one of them suggested I reset the jumpers and replace the battery. I am not familiar with laptops, do they also have bios batteries and where might I find it inside the case?

Windows 7 is also installed in the same drive. before it was all fine but since this morning i hvnt been able to start windows(it hangs at the welcome screen). So it will do a full boot with out user intervention, but still require a password to access the computerReason being is my netbook takes forever to log in to. But I still want the added security of a password. was thinking about a script file that will lock the computer, placed in the start up folder, but it would be annoying to be on the desktop doing stuff then get sent to the lock screen, when the start up scripts finely runs. (being one of the last things to run). It would be simple to by pass, by deleting the script before it has a chance to run when the computer logs in.
