BSOD With Photoshop Elements Editor And Organizer Version 8 And 10
Apr 9, 2012
I am very computer literate (Ex Wang System Engineer) but this has me stumped. I often get BSOD when running the above programs. No other programs give me problems. I installed trial version of Elements 10 to see if that might work, it crashed once. Since then today I have not been able to get either to crash. System is I7 930 chip on a Gigabyte m/b (GA-X58A-UD3R), 4Gb ram (2 banks). In the past I have swapped banks, but no change.
OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Original OEM.
I want to know if Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 will help me manage, orangize, and sort digital photographs already stored on the hard drive? Another words, I have thousands of duplicate photosgraphs in files and folders that i want to be able to pare down to one copy.
I built my new pc in november and have been having constant BSOD, I have reinstalled plenty of times, memtest86 all passed, all drivers are updated, still having problems. I reinstalled 5 days ago with the march updates and still getting them. They happen when I am working in photoshop, playing games, surfing the net, even just idling.
System specs are: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H AMD Phenom x4 955 2 x 4GB Generic DDR3 1333 Samsung 1TB hard drive Hitachi 500gb hard drive Powercolour Radeon HD 6670 1GB

1. Computer Files Folder Ect Organizer (best if it can search in all possible data *>* Like Advanced Find and Replace 7 this IS a Software for the GODS ! TRY IT.
2. An Encrypted Username and Password Encrypted software but ,don't forget when i go on TechNet ex: this encrypted software will fill the usernames and passwords.
I am running Office 2003 Pro. My husband deleted a few folders and long story short I had to reinstall Office to get it to work but I still get an error when I try to use clip art in any of the programs. It says:
Clip art cannot complete the operation No such interface supported Error code 0x080004002
I have compacted and run detect and repair but still no collections and I can't add any clip art to it. I have searched microsoft support but the only answer I found did not work and seemed to be for XP or earlier.
I found the my AHCI version driver is 6.x where as the latest version is 9.x. This is concering with BSOD's.A few errors I can remember are BSOD stop errors:
I just received my new WD Elements 3TB External drive and at find it worked fine and I was copy files to it and it seem to of froze and the files stopped copying (using TeraCopy) so I pressed cancel to stop the transfer and it wouldn't stop so I just unplugged the drive and now it doesn't show up in windows anymore. I went into Disk Management and it shows up but i cannot do anything to it. The Initilize disk pops up and I click GBP and it fails and says Media is write protected.
I have a Seagate 1.5 TB Free Agent External Hard Drive . I have a folder with approx500 GB in this H.D. This folder have some other 3 -400 folders . Sudenly , when I open the H.D. I cannot see this folder ; when I check the H.D.'s properties the folders / files are in the H.D.
I have been getting this error for a while on anything from Adobe or Apple that I try and install or uninstall. I tried to reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and I got this error when it was trying to uninstall it prior to reinstalling it. I tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 9 trial and I get the same error just before it completes installation. I have the UAC turned off, and I've tried doing this as Administrator.
I get this error if I try and uninstall an earlier version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (I have the new one installed as well). And I get this error if I try and update Apple ITunes, or QuickTime. I get notices all the time to update but it never works. I do have working versions of all this software on my computer but can't seem to update any of them. I would like to update to the new version of Premiere Elements.
When trying to install Premiere Elements 9 the complete error message reads as: "Error 1326 Error Getting File Security C:programdataPhotoshop ElementscatalogsGetLastError5".
As of recently (for the last couple of weeks) I noticed that the transfer rate to my external WD Elements SE 1TB drive is very very slow (~2MB/sec). This wasn't always the case, and the drive was much more responsive than that.
I searched about this topic extensively and the only thing I found was an issue with installing Windows 7 SP1 that in some cases screwed up the USB2 drivers. This was supposedly addressed by KB2529073 which is installed on my system. However, I'm still experiencing this ulta slow transfer rate.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but i really cant figure this out.Im trying to install the above program on 7260 x86 and i keep getting error 1303 and it tells me i dont have the correct permissions (or rather the installer doesnt) on the install folder.Ive used the Take ownership hack as well as setting permissions to allow Everyone full access.Any one got any ideas? Im sure im just missing something but its been bugging me for two days now

I have a 60GB SSD that I have my operating system on and I have a 1TB regular Hard Drive that I wanted to have all my basic programs on. Once the operating system/drivers/etc were installed on the SSD drive I changed the registry so that the default filed installation location was the 1TB drive instead (because some files/programs don't ask what location you'd like to install them to). Afterwards I restarted the computer after installing a program. Now tons of my system 32 system files/programs wont open even though they're there. I get an error message saying "Windows could not find 'C:Windowssystem32egedt32.exe' Please make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again."
This is the second time it has done this. The first time I had installed a few more programs before restarted so I thought maybe somehow I got a virus that disabled some of my registry permissions. But all this stuff I can't open IS still there, but because I changed this the ProgramDefDir registry now it can't find this stuff. After this first time when I thought it was a virus I just went ahead and reformatted and reinstalled windows, but I noticed as soon as I restarted after changing the registry the way I wanted it before, the same problem occured. So, 2 questions come from this: first, how can I fix this? i.e. changed the registry back WITHOUT the default regedit program as it wont let me use it.. second: How can I do what I want efficiently without creating this problem? i.e. OS on SSD and every other program, music, and such on the 1TB drive?
So I installed a beta version of W7 Ultimate and it's displaying a watermark that says "this is not a legit version". I never had a legitimate product key.I want to purchase a real version and upgrade appropriately. Can I purchase an Upgrade license to Windows 7 Ultimate or do I have to purchase a Full version? Also, what if I wanted to install Windows 7 Home Edition instead of the Ultimate version. If I did this, I assume I would have to install the Full version correct?
i have problem installing the power-tab editor. After i downloaded from CNET i got a file "cnet_powertab_zip.exe".If i double click and try to install i get an Install error: "Unable to initialize installer GUI".If i try to rename to exe to zip in order to extract it, it wont work at all.
I just switch from MS Win XP 32-bit. but it seem that MS-DOS editor in MS Win 7 64-bit is no longer existed. so is it relevant to keep searching another edit.com n put it into this environment MS-DOS at system32. I should just go for another 3rd party editor? The edit.com from my Win XP 32-bit actually a 32 or 16 bit?
So I bought what I thought what the full version of Windows 7 Pro online for the student discount for $65. I got it all installed and the activation key wouldn't work.Long story short I got the upgrade version on accident. So I got that refunded and I'm about to just go buy Home Premium. I need to install it. Do I need to uninstall Pro before I install Home Premium? Or will it just get rid of it for me when I install it?
I am running Windows 7 on my computer and have downloaded overdrive and the updates. When I try to download an audio book to my computer, It still gives me this error message: The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are running. Check your computer system information to see whether you need x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publishe
I have logged in as administrator and I am trying to start up the 'Group Policy Editor' using gpedit.msc but Windows 7 can't find it. Is this something that has to be installed or comes inbuilt with Windows 7?
my operating system is windows 7 and i have a large problem as every single programe is set to open with windows regestry editor and every single icon has changed to the windows registry editor icon . is there any way to change the programes back to normal?

Somehow .txt extension got associated with the Registry Editor and it cannot be changed. Namely, I click on Change program, select the editor I want to use, but the association does not change. Furthermore, the Always use the selected program... checkbox is disabled.
Is there a dynamic partition manager out there for Win 7...something like what Partition Manager used to be? Also, I'm thinking of adding a version of Linux to my system and I'm looking for an easy to use boot-manager-editor to use in Win 7?
Quote: Visual BCD is an advanced GUI version of Windows bcdedit utility. It is the first GUI utility to implement full editing of the BCD store. No more mystery behind the BCD store. The user can see and edit every detail in a well known explorer like structure. The power of bcdedit by simple clicks and keystrokes. To create a new Windows 7/Vista/XP/VHD Loader just do a simple click.Create boot sector(Linux, Ubuntu, Mac OS X) Loader one click plus extraction of MBR or PBR with dd utility for Windows. Now with automatic creation of missing Windows 7/Vista/XP/VHD loader entries (since version 0.9.2).The user can create and change the value of more than 120 properties of BCD objects by simple edits. Other similar utilities like VistaBootPro and EasyBCD give access to not more than 30 properties. All used constants, names, objects and elements are as defined by Microsoft. That means 100% compatibility.
