BSOD Plaing Starcraft2, Error 0x00000101?
Aug 2, 2011I keep getting a BSOD while playing starcraft. It doesn't happen very frequently but around once a day maybe twice if I play a lot.the full error is : The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000019, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff88003765180, 0x0000000000000002). A dump was saved in: C:WindowsMEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 120211-23524-01. really don't know much about this or how to fix it. I put together the computer myself the specs are: Asus P8P67-M PRO, 3.40 gigahertz Intel Core i7-2600K, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti and 16 gigs of ddr3

Oct 24, 2011Whenever I play a game for longer than 10 minutes, this happens. Affected games: trackamania nations, trackmania united, CoD4, MW2, BO, Oblivion, .. Most games. Stepmania doesn't seem to have the problem, so I think it may be OpenGL/DirectX related.This sound is also paired with severe FPS problems. After a few more minutes of play, I the BSOD; [URL]One odd thing is that when I launch a game (for example CoD4, which boots quickly, because other games need to boot steam first :s) right after startup, and leave it running for say 10 minutes, the problem will not exist for the entire session, until I reboot.Natively, I had Vista, after a month orso the problem started occuring. Then I clean installed Windows 7 Home Premium, the problem didn't exist at first. After a month, same problem. Then I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate, which gave the same story.I'm confident that the problem is with an auto-update of something, I deliberately didn't instal any drivers manually.

- Not the original OS. At first this had Windows Vista Home Premium Dutch 64 bit, then Windows 7 Home Premium Dutch 64 bit as an upgrade I got cheaply from my ACER, and finally out of misery I got Windows 7 Ultimate English 64 bit.
- Full retail.
- I got my system just over 2 years ago.
- My current OS is about half a year old I estimate. The problem recurred over all OS's.

Computer Freezes And BSOD When Gaming + Random Times?
Jul 6, 2012I recently changed the cabinet of my computer and since then I've been getting freezes and BSODS, when it freezes it just gets stuck at whatever I'm doing and makes a buzzing noise through the speakers. I haven't had time to read the error codes when I get the BSODS, it reboots to fast. The freezes/BSODS appear to happen more frequently when gaming, but it also occurs when I'm just browsing. have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and have tried reinstalling it but it didn't help.

Feb 28, 2012Been having blue screens somewhat randomly for the past few days. Frequently I get a crash when all that's running is a browser and Winamp (most recent one happened as I opened Winamp), but definitely had some in games as well.I've also had a few different error codes, the one in the title is the most recent and has come up before. The others I have gotten are 0x0000000A, 0x0000007E, and 0x0000003B. Computer is recently assembled but nothing fancy. Installed 7 for the first time a little over a week ago, Ultimate 64bit. Think I've got everything here asked of me, and will certainly scramble to get anything I missed.

Aug 10, 2012Ive recently built my own computer, however at random times when im on it, it will blue screen with a 0x0000004e error. I have Windows 7 professional 64 bit and ive also attached all the information including a few dumps from the times it has crashed. It has happened before a few times but i reinstalled the os so the dumps went with it. I will add more dumps each time it does blue screen. Also I downloaded BlueScreenViewer and it came back with a majority of the problems coming from a driver called "ntoskrnl". I have ran memtest for about 8 hours (With about 8 passes) and came back with no errors so i do believe it is a driver problem other than that, I have no clue what the problemI went on to run OCCT for 30 minutes, whilst it was testing it stopped and said there was an error in core 1. I then ran it again and it stopped again saying that there was an error in core 0. I have uploaded the graphs from both of these test for analysis. The minimum temperature ranged from about 26 - 29 degrees (Idle) and the maximum was ranged from 64 - 70 degrees.

Nov 19, 2011I have had my acer aspire for about 6 months and for the past 5 months this BSOD keeps happening at random times, and the symtem reboots and then restores.I have tried various methods to stop this happening - and I am now at a loss - I have tried puting hotfix on and also restoring to factory setting, i have heard about updating the bios etc but i am not great with the technical side of things.My computer came with windows 7 on it and it no disc - so how do i unistall it and then reinstall? i am hoping that i dont have to do thi however i see no other option.i should add that i contacted acer and that they have agreed to take it back and look at the hardware, however it its a software issue which i think it is - they will charge me 80 to fix it.

Feb 26, 2012I reformatted my computer multiple times, yet my computer seems to BSOD randomly.What happenes is that everything becomes unresponsive; cant alt+tab, cant ctrl+alt+del etc etc. everything freezes randomly... then boom, BSOD. its happened twice, with no apparent pattern.And then, when it restarts, it tries booting but then it goes into the boot selection screen and my SSD is nowhere to be found. Remote Desktop Connection Runs In Safe Mode But Freezes Otherwise
Feb 23, 2012I have a Dell XPS studio desktop that runs Windows 7 Home and I have been trying to connect to my work computer, which runs Windows 7 Professional. I connect via the internet through Remote Desktop Web Connection on Windows Small Business Server 2003. I can connect to my computer fine, but usually after only a few seconds of clicking on files, it freezes on me, causing IE to freeze. When I do this in safe mode, it does not freeze, so that tells me there must be a conflict on my system. I have a suspicion that it's something to do with my ATI graphics driver.

Jun 28, 2012I am experiencing issues with my ASUS graphics card and my Intel HD display driver. Whenever I am playing a videogame or doing something that is graphics intensive, my display freezes and I either have to reboot my machine or sometimes the display unfreezes and I am allowed to resume my activities. I originally had graphics driver 295.73, but I upgraded to version 296.10 when it came out. I still had the same issue when I upgraded my driver so I rolled back to version 295.73. I kept bouncing back and forth between the two drivers and I even tried going into safe mode to install the drivers. Twice while I was using AutoCAD and playing a videogame, the display became distorted and showed pixelated colors.
I installed the 301.24 driver when it came out on May 22nd, but the problem occurred again while I was playing a game and while I was in AutoCAD. In the rare instances that my display froze and unfroze, I received a windows notification from the windows event log stating that my driver 295.73, 296.10, or 301.24 failed. I have performed numerous diagnostics and stress tests using Ultimate Boot CD. My memory tests have checked out fine and so have my hdd and ssd tests. The only thing that sticks out is that my southbridge temperature, my CPUTIN according to HWMonitor, is at a constant 60 degrees. It never changes or fluctuates.

BSOD At Different Times?
Aug 29, 2012I recently "repaired" my laptop by replacing the hard drive. Originally I was told that its the motherboard that was faulty and not the hard drive, but after replacing the hard drive, it seemed to be working OK. However recently, at random times my laptop has been experiencing the BSOD.I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and all the system specifications has been attached with this post.At the moment, I solved the issue by using system restore to restore the machine to an an earlier date and at the moment I haven't experienced any BSOD. I installed BlueScreenViewer to read the minidump and it said the the problem driver that caused the crash was athr.sys.
