View 1 Repliesrecently i had some mobo problems,my asus striker extreme died suddenly so i replaced it with an asus commando, i formated my drive and installed windows 7 7600,i started re-installing my software and suddenly started to experience BSOD's,i updated all my drivers+bios,my pc is totally clean from dust,i replaced the memory sticks to different slots and i even download the windows debugger program...
i keep getting this : "probebly caused by : rdyboost.sys ",or ' Probably caused by : ntkrnlpa.exe
i have no idea what they mean, only that one of them is about the readyboost option in windows 7 to boost the system using a flashusb drive...im not even using that service.
i didn't perform a memory check yet but tryed working with different memories each time and even tried replacing to a different memory stick, but, still i get BSOD's....
is there a way to check the PSU ?? not the thing with the green and black wire but a different way...
the board is good because it was my moms board and i took it from here and gave her a new gygabyte board, and it worked fine in her pc.
I've been getting the BSOD since the past 3 days. The memory test showed no problems Here's the dump file.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been getting random BSODs over the past several months. The latest is the one listed in the thread title, but I've also had the following:
- Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error, 0x0000007A
- Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area, 0x00000050
- A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited, 0x000000F4
Whenever I get one of these, it also gives the additional error "Physical memory dump Failed with status 0xC0000010"I've seen about a dozen BSODs in the past 12 months with these four errors, and I think all of them have been while I had left the computer idle for various amounts of time (never more than a few hours).I built this computer from the ground up with all new components a year ago and have been running Win 7 Ultimate x64, no re-installs.
I've been getting DRIVER_POWER_STATE shutdowns on my comp recently when I leave it running for a day or overnight. I have about 5 dmp files showing the same ntoskrnl.exe.

This just started happening a few days ago and I can't seem to determine why? I also cannot seem to run the perfmon report as my system won't stay running long enough to generate it and I can't seem to run the report tool from safe mode.
it's a LG T280 laptop,BSOD's started appearing six months ago mainly with 0x0000009F DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE then stopped and now its kinda stable but started having all sorts of BSOD's, but the system did not create minidump for all of them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI filled out my system specs and am including the requested files as instructed (includes dump files). Since last week, I have gotten a few BSODs. All but one (0x1000008e KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) were 0x000000c2 BAD_POOL_CALLER. Both types were apparently caused by Windows system files ntkrnlpa.exe and win32k.sys. There seems to be no correlation between them occurring and any particular software or action (have gotten them upon moving and renaming files, browsing the internet, and even while being absent from the PC). My drivers are all kept up to date; so are my windows updates. I hadn't installed any new hardware, drivers, or software for awhile (some time before the crashes began). I can't seem to relate it to anything else. I ran Memtest for 20 hours and there were no problems with my RAM at all. I have also run a few different hard drive testing utilities and they all showed both my drives to be completely fine. My hard drives also aren't in need of defragmenting. Additionally I have done thorough scans for viruses and malware with a couple different programs, but that came out to be clean as well. Also lately I have been getting some random slowdowns and even crashing with random programs (has happened with programs I use the most); I think this could be related. I'd like to know what could be causing the BSODs, how I could stop it, and if it might mean something fatal to some hardware or my data.

I got a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error with bug code 0x0000009f. I have changed to a SSD for my main drive (was working on a 500 GB segate before perfectly but wanted an upgrade) with a 750gb wd black as my secondary. Also I get this error only when installing (for first time) or playing GTA-IV. The first BSOD out of the two I got was when I had the install hang up so I tried to quit the process then it hit the blue screen right there. The second one was during game play.

Recently got a new computer (about 1 month ago) for our office and we keep getting the following BSOD almost daily:The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa80080d3060, 0xfffff80000b9c3d80xfffffa800994bac0). A dump was saved in: C:WindowsMEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 051012-14414-01. tried to analyze the mini dump files myself, but I can't seem to get them to open up.Not sure how to fix this issue and windows troubleshooting is uselessCurrently running: Windows 7 Professional x64 Sp1 OEM

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have another laptop and its a HP 2230s. I originally installed Windows 7 professional 64bit. But I have swapped the ram into my Lenovo ThinkPad. So the HP now has 2GB. I created a new partition and installed Vista Business 32bit on it. When I started the install windows .exe program in Windows 7, everything went well until it rebooted. When I rebooted, windows said something like:
Windows Boot manager:
The system cannot boot because of a recent change to files/hardware. (Something like that). Insert your windows disk.
So I just rebooted my laptop with the vista disk inside and installed. After, when everything was working, I wanted to go to the Windows 7 partition to un-install programs and copy some files over to the vista partition, the laptop just booted into vista.
I downloaded the easy BCD editior and visual BCD editor. (in the vista partition), I clicked the auto fix in visual BCD editor. It detected my windows installations. At the boot screen, I can select either Windows 7 or Vista. But when I select 7, the same error message appears.
Then I rebooted my laptop with a USB containing the Windows 7 (64bit) recovery tools. After, I don't have the message again. But when it goes to the starting windows animation, it stops halfway and it gets a BSOD. I tried debugging mode, it worked.
I found out that the larger partition, (Windows 7) is the C: drive. But when I boot into the smaller partition, (Windows Vista), the drive is also C:!. So I don't know what I could do.
I insert the windows 7 disk and repaired my installation, it just boots into windows 7. But when I insert the Vista disk and repaired my installation, it just boots into Vista!
Ive had this laptop maybe 1 month it has a 1 year warrany, my issue is it seems to be blue screening non stop, generally when i open games, i was on D3/WOW when it happens the screen goes blue and says windows has experienced an unexpected error blabla. It did stop doing it for about 2 weeks however its doing it again today however now its got a different error saying DRIVERPOWR_STATE_FAILURE when i get the BSOD. i can also hear a fan in the computer maybe the gfx card?THe bug check code was 0x00000116 the first 3 times howevr now its 0x0000009f here is the BSOD from BlueScreenView:

The original OS was Windows XP 32bit SP3. I upgraded this system to Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2 with no issues.
I then went to upgrade the system to Windows 7 Premium. I chose the "Upgrade" install and not the "Clean" install. I've checked the updater to confirm that all my system information was adequate. I uninstalled the ATI Catalyst Controller, iTunes, etc. that it wanted me to. Oddly enough, the ATI Catalyst Controller was the most recent driver that supports Windows 7.
I checked online to see if the hardware was all supported by Windows 7. The Sapphire Vapor-X video card was not compatible or compatible... it simply wasn't on the list of either. The X-Fi Extreme Gamer said it was NOT compatible... yet, I had a driver for Windows 7 and the Windows 7 Application checker said that my sound card was ready for Windows 7... thus a discrepency.
I went on with the installation. I get to the last step where it resets the computer at 62% and I get a BSOD for about 1/3 of a second. It goes by too quickly for me to capture it. It then restarts the computer instantly with the result of "Upgrade was not completed successfully. Restoring prior OS yadda yadda". I've gone through this about 5 times now trying different things.. keeping the Catalyst controller installed, uninstalling the video card, removing the sound card, etc. Nothing seems to work.
It was recommended to me that I do a clean install... however, I have read that many others have done a clean install and theirs STILL doesn't get past the 62%.
Is it my hardware? Do I need to buy MORE hardware now that 7 is out that is on the compatible list?
My computer has been stable for years, however recently I have been getting BSOD when doing any task. Windows will sometimes load to the desktop and I am able to watch video, run windows score, check email, etc before it will BSOD. Other times, it will BSOD before getting to the windows login screen. When I use safe mode, it logs in and stays there - no BSOD.I have tried removing all extra hardware in the machine, however this has had no affect. I have also tried one stick of RAM, then another, both BSOD.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a NB550D with windows 7 home 32Bit installed and but i am having issues with it. I usually put it to sleep all the time as i use it for school. I went to use it 2 days ago and it started to become REALLY slow. The hdd light was on all the time and doing anything started to take a very long time. It ended up blue screening with something up the top with irql not less or equal message up the top but before i could read anymore it restarted. When it starts up, it prompts for my password, and i login. It then sits on the Welcome screen with the little circle spinning for ages. it ends up with a black screen with the cursor that is moveable for about 10 minutes and then it freezes. The hdd light is on the whole time.
It is booting into safe mode so i decided to install SP1 to see if that would cure it which it did... for 1 day. It has stopped working again today with the same symptoms but instead of it sitting in welcome screen for 5 minutes it sits there for about 30 seconds and then goes to a black screen with the cursor. It appears to be loading something because the cursor has got that little spinning thing and then after a while the task bar comes up. It is responsive to some degree but the background is nowhere to be found. I can move the mouse right up until 2 seconds before it reboots. there is no warning as to when it reboots, it just goes blank and then the BIOS logo appears. It appears to be trying to load something faster than the HDD can cope and then it crashes. It still boots into safe mode.
I was infected by some malware which affected the ability of the computer to run Windows Updates. The malware infection has been cleaned successfully with the help of fireman4it.
