BSOD Getting More Frequent
May 31, 2012
i've been having this problem for a while, and earlier it only came up when playing BF3, but now it occurs all the time, even when in desktop. I've been monitoring temperatures and usage on my components, which seemed like the logical error from the start. It's usually the 0x0000003B, but i've also had 0x0000001E. Minidump attached, but the latest ones are not saved, but i usually get 0x0000003B win32k.exe error.

I never used it heavily at the start and assumed it was just a driver and that i'd figure it out later.Well; now is later and I can't figure it out.I've done a re-install of the OS (HP recovery)This system is about a year old and is an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with AMD Phenom II N850 Triple Core @2.2 ghz 6 gig memory 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

I own an Asus Laptop that runs on Windows 7 and I've been getting random BSOD for months (around 6) and they've become more frequent. I've downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scanned my computer and thought the problem was fixed but then it would come back. It's happened 11 times this month and 3 times today alone.I really don't know what to do anymore. I've considered reinstalling windows but I don't have the disc.

I have been getting BSODs on occasion. When recently playing a beta of a MMORPG I recieved three within 20 minutes of playing the game. They are I believe, bad pool header errors.I am running a custom built older PC with Windows 7 Pro-64bitAMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+4GB RamASUS A8NNvidia GeForce 8600 GTSI ran a memory check and nothing showed and I believe my drivers are all up to date. In Device Manager I have two unknown devices on PCI standard ISA bridges and and a creative game port on PCI bus 4, device 8, function 1 showing errors.

The BSoD has happened a few times over the last few days. Every time it reboots just fine. I have noticed it tends to happen while downloading or while watching a show using VLC player. My background programs include McAfee Enterprise 8 and TeaTimer (Spybot S&D). I am suspicious of the McAfee because the day after I installed it was the first BSoD
After reboot from most recent crash I copied the details from the "Windows just recovered from an unexpected error" box.
Problem signature: Problem Event Name:BlueScreen OS Version:6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID:1033

I have also attached the zip of dump from the SF Diagnostic Tool.

I got a lot of BSOD on Windows 7 64 bits.I have updated the video cards drivers and all the others drivers windows update suggestI have run the Windows 7 mem test 2 times without any error. The weird thing is that the stop code change a lot. Here is the computer spec: HP Pavilion a6318f PC (GX769AA) specifications - HP Home & Home Office Products With a 8800 GT geforce 4 instead of the default card and 3 gigs instead of 2.For now, I'm thinking of trying another video card or doing a windows repair. But I would like if someone that know how to read dmp file could point me in the right direction.

my computer has been running great. just last week, it started randomly producing the BSOD. I have several dump files. I am trying to fix a computer for a relative, but cannot seem to figure out the cause of these BSOD's, they are frequent, with the computer running typically for less than 5 minutes before crashing out, once or twice for longer since I've received it. I removed expired versions of norton internet security and another norton program as well as a basic virus scan with malwarebytes. The laptop also passed a single full pass from memtest.

I chose to ignore it as its the first time it happened and i hoped it wouldn't happen again.I came home 2 days after , and in 1 evening i got around 4 BSODs.Some BSODs occured while i was playing games , and they would happen with some lines appearing on the screen for a few seconds and the computer freezing , and then i would get the BSOD.I thought it was something GPU related , probably driver related , so i reinstalled the drivers and all , but nothing happened as they still occur.

i have a self-built pc that i have been using for about 2 years. i have had problems with bsod in the past and recently reinstalled my operating system (windows 7 64 bit) about 2 weeks ago. in the past few days i have been getting nonstop bsod, about 5+ per day although not all are being shown in the dump files according to bluescreenview. usually i am not doing anything when these occur except browsing the internet or listening to music on Internet. sometimes i will have a game minimized in the background while i am doing work. i have had these problems before but have not been able to put my finger on what is causing them. i have attached requested files with my computer specs, so if there is any advice you can give me or any insight into what might be causing these, please let me know. it is difficult for me to understand on my own because most errors are different according to the bluescreenview reports.

About a 2 month ago I built a new PC, installed a fresh copy of win 7 x64 and started getting random BSODs. It only happened once/twice a week but has started happening more requently, 5 times in the past 4 days. I've done several MemTests (both slots, single slot, different RAM in each slot) and no errors have come up. I've tried to the best of my ability to update my drivers but I may have missed something. Also, the bugchecks are not consistent (1e, 7e, 3b, ect) although 1e and 3b are the most frequent.
System Info:
CPU: i7 2600k 3.4 Ghz (2 months old)
MoBo: Asus P8H67-MLX (2 months old)
RAM: 2x Silicon Power 4Gb DDR3 1333 (2 months old)
Graphics Card: Zotac GTX275 (18 months old)

I've followed the instructions. I get almost 5-6 BSOD in a day. The blue screen appears and it shows dumping memory... 10% ... 50% 100% then my PC restarts. Another major problem is that I frequently get "Windows Explorer has stopped working". It fixes itself when I restart. But it's hassle to restart everytime.

i've been experiencing BSOD's pretty much consistently since i bought my computer a few months ago but i thought i'd fixed it a while back but turns out it just happens alot less frequently when playing certain games / idling on desktop / browsing internet.Games like counter strike source and ARMA 2 (playing the DayZ mod) seem to cause the BSODs pretty regularly (almost every 30 minutes) whereas i can play games like WoW with almost no troubles, until i try to stream that is, then its pretty random: sometimes i can stream for hours but other times it will BSOD with in 5 minutes.

I have a computer as described in my profile and ive had it for about a year now. about 6 months ago i occasionally got BSOD and ignored it Then i upgraded the ram to 16gb (was origionally 6gb) and it was great (ran so smooth) but recently ive been getting this BSOD more and more frequent and now the pc is quite unuseable.
i searched up online and found that it could be software, ram or hardrive most probably so first i tried a factory restore and still got bsod and freezes then i tried factory restore once more... no luck then i downloaded a home premium iso installed that and it appeared to be working then that started doing it.
next i tried Ram first i downgraded it to 8gb then swapped it back to the 6gb it came with none of this helped
now i think it must be the harddrive or something wrong with the motherboard. since i cant use it atm im quite ****** off (Ps:the blue screen error message is "Page fault in non paged area" every time)

My Alienware M17x suffers daily, random BSODs, I think most are Driver Power State Failures. These persist when I re-install my NVIDIA drivers (I even tried using Driver Fusion to get a clean install), but they do seem more frequent with the recent beta drivers. Maybe it's my Intel display drivers...? BSODs occur when starting programs, ending programs, in programs, and when I have everything closed. Random.I'm open to the idea that it could be physical damage (if that's possible). My laptop shipped with a busted DVD drive, so if that's a physical issue, there could be others.Changing my anti-virus from Avast to MSE was advised on another forum but made no difference.A possibly-completely-unrelated symptom: my laptop won't boot (freezes on splash screen) when I have a USB device plugged in (like my mouse). Changing my boot order doesn't seem to fix this.

Recently I've been noticing that my computer seems to have frequent short (maybe around half a second) freezes no matter what I'm doing. I notice it most when playing videogames, where the screen will freeze for a while before returning to normal. It's also noticeable when typing in some programs, where i will see nothing come out until a few seconds after I've typed it. When watching videos on the internet, the video will randomly freeze at a frame for a while (with audio still going) before skipping to synch up with the audio. If the videos are on my hard drive however, the problems are much more noticeable; Both audio and visuals stutter almost constantly. I first noticed this problem around a week ago when the sounds of a game i was playing (League of Legends) kept repeating for several seconds each time they played.

Problem description: While not occurring all of the time, it has become apparent that if my computer experiences a long period of activity, say if I am playing on it for a number of hours for example, the system will struggle to shut down. This means that once I click the button to shut down the system can sometimes take 5-10 minutes to finally shut down. At one instance the system hung up for so long that it caused a bluescreen of death, forcing me to just kill the power to the PC.Usually however the system shuts down in seconds like normal.Attempted fixes: What have you tried to do to resolve the problem?I examined the Event Viewer and learned that during each problem event where the computer would start to hang up, leading to the shut down problems, the program "Bonjour Services" is clearly defined in long strings of errors. Wanting to make sure that this program was responsible for the problem I waited for the issue to occur again and sure enough, each time the Bonjour Services was causing the issue.
know that this program comes with iTunes (which I use) but I simply uninstalled Bonjour since I don't use any of the specific functions it uses. Well it seems the problem has not simply been fixed by uninstalling Bonjour. I am still encountering the occasional stall upon shutdown, but this time the event viewer does not show any errors regarding it. I only uninstalled Bonjour through the Add/RemovePrograms in My Computer, is it possible that there are still parts of it screwing with my computer? It can't be a coincidence since Bonjour was clearly identified with each error in the event viewer for all of the previous shutdown issues
