All Videos Blank In Both IE9 And FF5 And Windows 7?

i recently had applied a 3rd party theme Shine 2.0 for Windows 7 by ~zainadeel on deviantART, and had used the path utility TCP-Z, Best TCP/IP Patch: Universal Theme Patcher (v1.5, Build 20090409)I had applied it yesterday...in the mean time there were a couple of windows updates released too, i applied those as well.Today i realize all flash videos as well as every video on my computer is blank. I have bought and used Biostar hd 5670 card for a few week ago. I got many experience about this card because it always go blank while I try to play the videos like .mp4 .mkv and HD movies. It also on media decoding assesement and watching videos online. This problems blow up after close the player or done watching. I tried a lots of solution like update adobe flash player, update AMD Catalyst to Version 12.10, Test with other motherboard, change PSU+more. Finally it still the same. Or it need to configure a crossfirex to work?. It still works well for gaming just video problems.
My system:
OS:Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
Mb:AsRock H77M
CPU:i5 3470
RAM:8gb
GC:1gb Biostar HD 5670(also include gold finger connector on board design)
PSU:600 watt
It work on the old system which spec: Asus p5kpl am-se,intel pentium 4, 1gb ddr2, but when ram upgrade to 2gb the problem back again. i don't understand why?

I can't get sound from any of the web pages I've visited. I tried to install a codec package, and it won't allow me. I am the sole user of the computer, I'm running W7 64bit with a X-Fi soundcard. All other sound works fine and it is hooked up via spdif optical link to a seperate surround sound system.
Therefore, My first question, How do I get the sound to work?
2nd question, even if is or isn't the codec issue, why won't windows update the registry with the codec installation package (1402 error). I am the administrator!

My windows 7 DVD player stopped playing DVD's. I put in DVD, hit play, nothing. The computer page screen comes on, right click for play....Zip. Nothing appears on computer page screen to show the video is even the machine.

I am adding two video items to burn onto the same DVD. I would expect the viewer to be able to choose to play either video 1 or video 2 but the preview screen does not list the files separately but simply has only one 'play' button. What am I doing wrong?

Recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7, and now I can't play videos in 1080p nor Original quality. On XP I had 30 fps stable, now I get 10-15fps, what could be the cause of this? My graphics card is a Geforce 9600GT, I use the windows classic theme to avoid more ram use.

I recently installed Windows 7 on my wife's Samsung laptop (originally supplied with Vista) and generally the upgrade has been a great success. However, one constant complaint I get is that video files attached to emails are now very slow to open, whereas previously they had opened and played with no problem at all.
if so where should I look for an indication that I need to update.

All of a sudden windows media player and center won't play any videos other than mp4s. Could it be related to me installing a new amd driver? The files run good in real player but they look better in windows media player. When I try to open videos with it it will pop up then give the message this program has stopped working. I tried resetting it but it did not work.

Hd videos downloaded from camera appear to be in a colour negative form reminiscent of old 35mm colour negative film. The first frame appears normal but when play button is pressed then it reverts to this strange colouring. I cannot find any controls in Windows 7 to change this.

Just purchased a new laptop with Windows 7, it has 8gb memory i7 processor. This computer is brand new and any video I try to watch online, (You Tube, yahoo etc,) they are always going into buffering and videos keep stopping and starting. Are there any special settings to help this out. Also I can take my old laptop that has only 1gb of memory and an old processor and it does well, so I know it is not my internet connection or router?

Acer ASPIRE M3802 (details to follow) starts making buzzing noises while I am playing videos, especially when buffering multiple videos at a time e.g. in multiple tabs of browser. This starts happening at irregular intervals, sometimes just after 10 mnts, sometimes after about an hour or so. The system actually freezes every few seconds. This continues till the system displays BSOD or I restart it. After restart, it is fine for quite a long time but eventually the problem starts again.

so last night my computer was in the middle of a download which i now is the cause of the issues i'm having, but i've completely gotten rid of it and done several scans and made sure there was no inflicting damage or viruses on my pc! so after all of that, my toshiba did a start up repair and supposedly restored itself, wellnow my programs look like this.i seriously have no idea why this is happening and seriously, get this. not all of my programs look like this, some are working and are completely fine like nothing ever happened. i usually use AOL instant messenger and it did the same, i used google chrome and it was completely blank and my internet explorer did the same thing as well. so far, no one knows what this issue is and it's absolutely unbearable. my toshiba didn't come with a system recovery disc so i am without it and when trying to burn one

Whenever I go to a webpage and try to play games, view videos, or streaming content my system "freezes" every minute or two. I can never watch a video or play a game in its entirety without having to sit through numerous "freezes", or whatever it is. The little spinning icon just keeps going round and round.
