I need to find out if there is a agp video card that will enable the aero features on win7
(grphics or gaming 3.0 and higher). Here is what I am working with:
OS Windows 7 Home Premium on a hp a320n
Processor AMD athlon xp2800+ wei score 3.4
Memory 1.00gb wei score 4.1
Graphics ati 8500 wei score 1.9
Gaming 128 mb wei score 1.0
Hard disk 149gb wei score 5.7
When I run the assessment, it doesnt detect the graphics memory etc. I tried all of the drivers. Unless there are some workarounds somewhere I need another card! No gaming really, just want to enable all of the aero features.
my sd cards work fine on my other computers, all of which run windows 7 32 bitbut, over the past few weeks i have had 3 computers, two of which i returned thinking they had defects, but this one does it too when i first insert the sd card, it reads the drive as active, in this case E drive but NOT the sd card inserted into itso what i have to do is right click it, click EJECT, i get a pop up saying it is in use and option to cancel, or continue, i click CONTINUE, take the card back out, reinsert it, and it is fine.
I have built them formatted them, fixed them added components many many times...This is my issue, Internet explore won't open....well it opens and I get a ap crash notification. I take out both of my different videos cards and use internal video and it does not crash. The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..
I have a "SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash" 4GB card and an internal card reader (HP desktop). When I insert the card into the reader, the green light above the slot turns on as if it recognizes the device, but it doesn't show up. Device Manager says that the driver is installed and working properly, and I have uninstalled it,reinstalled it, and restarted my computer. A system restore isn't really an option because it isn't my computer.
I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?
PI have to use onboard sound card to have audio through HDMI output from video card. The external sound card installed is Xonar DG and it comes with SPDIF output header to be interfaced with video card. But I do not see no such header on the video card. I wonder what video card has such an interface header.
I have recently purchased Samsung RF511 notebook and I have been trying to run HD video files(mkv) and they do run but it is very laggy and stuttering occurs very often. So I looked a bit into this matter and what I have found is that the VLC player that I am using to play the video files runs of the onboard graphics card and not the nvidia 540M card that is also installed in this notebook.
I have Dell Latitude E6410 with PC Card Bus, StLab USB 3.0 PCIe card connected with StLab PC CardBus/PCIe adapter. OS is Windows 7. USB 3.0 card do not want to work (system do not find it - no USB 3.0 controller). Other PC Ie cards (modem ...) work with this adapter and USB 3.0 card works in other notebooks with PC Ie bus (without adapter). Is it possible that the card and adapter (from the same producer) are not compatible?
I have sent in my computer to get repaired and got it back yestersay. Since then i've been trying to get it to work properly again.I can't play any of the games I used to play before I sent it in to get repaired (for example, Battlefield 3). I can start dota2 but it looks pretty messed up. My computer shows me that I have an nvidia geforce 7025 nforce 630a graphic card.Although it says in the computer description that it SHOULD have a AMD HD 6870 1GB GDDR 5. My screen isn't plugged in the graphic card, since it doesn't recieve anything from there. It is plugged directly to the motherboard. So, from what I understand the nvidia card is the integrated graphic card or am I totally wrong?Anyway, the device manager can only find the nvidia card and I cannot run any game smoothly on this computer. Before I realized this possibility I've tried to download newer drivers for the nvidia card, but it didn't help.
My company uses industrial computers for controlling equipment. These computers use 16GB CF for hard drives with Windows 7. If I remove the CF and plug it into my laptop using a card reader, all I see are the files on the System Reserved partition. The other partition which holds the Windows 7 files is blank. If I put the CF back in the industrial computer all of the files are visible.
On my PC there is a card reader connected. It shows up as 4 different drives when I look at "My Computer" and elsewhere. One of the slots in the reader is for sim cards. When a sim card is inserted a Windows sound is heard and the "Installing Device Driver" window shows up but then another window stating the installation was not successful. Any further action from within windows does not solve the problem. I tried an external card reader connected via USB and the same negative results. this was tried with 3 different sim cards.
i have everything installed exept my soundcard. Philips PSC703 LWHA581-U3 A581-U30 soundcard. When i try to download and install my drivers, it says The Philips PSC update installer has been detected.New PSC update files cannot be copied until this installer has been removed. Do you wish to remove the old installer? Then its two options "Yes" and "No" I have never run this driver install before, and this pc is newly formated and installed. When i click Yes, it says it has been removed, and when i restart the installer, the same note comes up.. Ive tried to restart my pc, still no success. Also, when i downloaded the installer, it didnt say it was for win7, only XP and the other versions exept vista and 7, cant i have my soundcard at this pc..?
I am running Windows 7 service Pack 1, 32-bit on a HP Pavilion, Pentium 4, 3.0 ghz, 1.0GB memory, 250w power source. I had a ATI Radeon 9250 PCI graphics card, 256MB ran great on XP. I know its not compatable with W.7. I play only a few older games, like EA Sports NHL 2008 & Tiger Woods Golf, is there any PCI card I could buy that will work with Windows 7?
The action is already pretty explained in the title. Now I'm gonna tell you the reason. Windows isn't my principal operating system. I already have a Linux Mint install that fulfills all my needs. I'd want a Windows system too just for gaming, if I manage to do my way. Id est on a Secure Digital I bought for that exact reason. Why? I don't want Windows to occupy space on my HDD, which is barely big enough for my needs, and I don't want to carry around an external drive either. An SD is perfect for has all the space it needs on its own, is small and confortable to bring where I want and when it's plugged in completely disappears in my computer.
Now that Windows 7 RC Came out, the Theater 550 Card doesn't work. I tried the Hauppauge card and it also has issues with Windows 7 (Freezes all the time). What card is recomended by Microsoft.
It seems as much time and money I throw at the RC, Media Center doesnt work in Windows 7. Worked awesome in Vista (I'm going back to vista... ewww) It's supposed to enable awesome television for the home, you would think there would be some decent cards out there that anyone could buy at Best Buy or Fry's.
I was wondering if there is a firewire card for windows 7 and what the number is of it and where I can find one. Need it to download video from JVC camcotder.
