After Reformating Dell Inspiron N4110, What Driver Should I Install ?
Nov 10, 2011
after i reformat my laptop ( Dell Inspiron )from window 7 home premium 64 bits to window 7 professional 32 bits , what driver should i install ? does the sequence play a role here ?
i tried installing windows 7 on dell inspiron n4110 but when it reaches the stage when i click on install now, it brings up this message 'install drivers from a cd/dvd/usb device'
My laptop wont start after hibernation. The hard drive starts to spin up after I hit the power button but stops and the screen stays black. The power is still going (I checked the lights) but it still doesn't start. Once I completely turn it off by holding the power button, it starts fine. It wouldn't be a huge deal except I lose everything that I had running.
i have a dell inspiron1464 laptop with windows7 professional 32bit. 4gb ram and core i3 . i have problems in the installation of amd catalyst driver. it shows no error while installing ,but no change in the laptop after that. when i was going to uninstall it , it shows their is no ati catalyst installed.

I'm trying to do a clean installation of Windows 7 x86 on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop that I bought in July 2008. It's been running Windows Vista 32-bit without any trouble. Yesterday I purchased the Windows 7 Professional 32-bit upgrade from Digital River and downloaded the ISO. I've burned it onto two separate DVDs using different software and a different computer each time (the second time I used Alcohol 120% and made sure that it was on the slowest setting). Now I'm downloading the iso again.
Each time I try to install it (which has been many times, now, trying different configurations of partitions, etc) I get the error message "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570"
I've read through just about every thread I could find on this site and others and nothing seems to help. The only thing I haven't done is mess with the RAM, but I'd prefer not to do that as I don't have any experience opening up laptops (although I have built three desktops).
I bought a new dell laptop of model inspiron n5010. It works with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS. I installed all the other drivers and softwares. I cannot find a way to work the Wifi. I tried to install the wifi driver R252283 from dell official site, but when i'm installing it i got an error message"The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed."
I have a Dell Inspiron 700m. I can't find a video (graphic) driver for it. I went to Dell support website but can't find the right driver. I understand Dell doesn't support this model for Vista or Windows 7. I even google for the driver. Quite a few people have the same problem. Do you happen to know a driver to take its place? I went to Device Manager and it shows that I'm missing the Video Controller.
I'm running Dell Inspiron 1525 Windows 7 64-bit and having problems with my beatuful dell touchpad, which works just fine except horizontal and vertical scrolling. I have already read some materials on the web and have downloaded of couble of useless stuff but the problems hasn't gone. I like my Dell Inspiron 1525, but the 64-bit drivers really suck.
On another partiiton I'm running SuSE and it looks much better than Windows 7.
Kindly give Dell Inspiron 1420 web cam driver for win7.
Answer:-
1- Always try first in the web page of the manufacturer of the PC or laptop. 2- You would never get the answer to your mail. 3- See the below link, use the vista driver, if doesn't work, your web cam isn't supported for win 7. But I think that your web cam should work with the vista driver or win 7 install the correct driver from internet.
I'm suffering from really random BSOD's (it can be sometimes just crash, restart or GSOD too) - i can just watch desktop and it can crash. It's been happening for months (about 4-5) and I still didn't find any solution. I've got some minidumps from 3 weeks (had format).Main problem: ntoskrnl.exe.

I have Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, and I am using Windows 7 Profession 32bit operating system. Currently, my resolution is set to 1024 by 768. I want higher resolution than that. The graphics driver installed in my system is Standard VGA. I tried installing 64 bit AMD ATI Mobility Radeon driver, but it didnt work. Also, I tried NVIDIA Driver 275.33, but it said its incompatible with my system.
where can i find sound driver for my dell inspiron 1420 . cause since i install windows7 it doesnt produce sound at all and if you check in the device manager it won't show any sign that sound or any driver is missing.
The first thing that you should try is to connect using the wired network and apply all updates. It's possible that a driver may have been added that was not part of the retail package (this certainly happens with printers).
The second thing that you should be aware of is that there are a number of different chipsets used for the wireless network in the Inspiron so the following link may or may not help. (A solution is given in the last but one post.)
