I have a desktop running on XP and just purchased a new laptop on the Windows 7 platform.. I get a wireless connection to my router and have internet access. Everything is fine, except that when I tried to install my printer which is Lexmark x1185, it installs, but when I try to access it on the laptop, I get the 0x0000000d error message. My printer is in the office and prints fine if I use my desktop which is running XP but cannot get the thing to connect with my laptop which is running Windows 7.
Can anyone please help me out!! This is very frustrating and I have been trying to get it to work for over 5 hours and nothing..
I have 2 computers on my home network. My desktop is running Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and I have a kodak 5500 Aio connected to it. I also have a laptop that's running windows 7 home premium 64 bit that connects wireless. I was able to print until today and now I can't print from the laptop. I can see the printer in the add printer window but comes up with cannot connect with error of 0x0000000d
I have a Desktop computer with Windows 7 (32 bit) and a laptop with Windows 7 (64 bit). I'm trying to set up a network printer, so I can print from my laptop using my desktop computeer printer. I've set up my wireless computer which uses Windows Xp just fine, and can print from that computer. But when I try to add a network printer on my laptop, as it's finishing installation, an error message pops up saying "cannot connect to printer" error code 0x0000000d. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Is it possible to set up a 64 bit with a 32 bit computer?
I have a Kodak ESP 5250 printer attached to an XP machine - and have a Windows 7 machine that functions well on the network with the XP machine otherwise, but when I attempt to add a network printer to the Windows 7 machine (the printer is the Kodak mentioned above) I receive the error message above 0x0000000d.
I get when trying to install a printer. I have 2 hard drives one is a 1 TB w/ 800 GB free, the other is a 300 GB Hard Drive w/ 187 MB free. Yet I get the message that the drivers cannot be installed due to not enough hard drive space?
I am trying to install my printer to my wireless network, but I keep getting an error message that I am not the administrator on this computer. This is my personal computer, so don't know why I would not be the administrator. I did set up a homegroup and add my printer and all my documents, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
I installed a new printer and started printing a new document, a script error message popped up on my computer. I cannot fix it. Why is this happening. It will print an old document frm my files. I also noticed that an ethenet cable is connected to a wireless router and a modem. Is there a cable that supposed to connect from printer to computer? I have an HP Ethernew all in one printer, Officejet 6500 E709 series.
Im trying to install windows 7 on this PC i have just bought from ebay but it wont let me .This message comes up and i Cannot get any further.Windows cannot be installed to the disk. I'm trying to install a program that has an updated patch. When I go to install the update I get an error message saying "program name (x86)...you don't have permission to save in this location contact your administrator to obtain permission. How do I get around this block. I did go into the admin setting nad played around with them but that didn't do anything. This is my computer and this account is the only one on there and it says Richard (me) is the admin so I should be able to put stuff where ever the I want. I am so sick of Windows 7 this is the worst version of windows yet. Can't we go back to MS Dos.
I am trying to install Windows 8 x86 on my 2-year old Acer Aspire One netbook. After the screen that says "Setup is Starting," a message comes up telling me that a "Required CD/DVD Device Driver" is missing and that I must find the driver file before continuing setup. Being a netbook, my machine doesn't have a disk drive.
I've been trying to get Windows 7 working for a couple days, without success. A friend of mine told me about this forum, so I figured I's try my luck and ask my fellow Windows users.
I have a valid, working copy of Windows 7 build 7000x32 on disk. The same disk has been used on other computers and works fine. However on my machine, it begins the installation just fine, until it reaches the blue Windows 7 background screen. Then it stops. No error, it just stops working.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I find it extremely frustrating.
System is HP desktop running W7-64 bit. Printer is HP Photosmart 7350, old but working perfectly until 2 days ago. Driver is Deskjet 5550 (closest one for this printer).
I've reinstalled the driver, plugged and unplugged the printer, and tried to print from different programs. As soon as the print button is selected the error condition shows in the Devices & Printers section. This happens whether the printer is turned on or not.
Emachines ET-1831-03 box, with Intel ES-300 dual core 2.6 ghz processors, Ran fine, then SATA Seagate 750 gb HD failed.Received the correct system restore CD's from both emachines and Asus. Attempted to reinstall Windows 7 home Premium 64 bit on alternative 80 gb WD IDE hard drive (having removed the defective 750 gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 from the machine). Also installed 2 gb DDR2 which tested fine, to insure no RAM errors. Recovery CD's go thru entire restore process, and say to remove the last CD and restart. On restart - I get only the black screen with the "MBR01 Error" message.RAM has been tested.Obviously the motherboard and CPU are OK, because it loads the system CD, and does the complete recovery install process. I am a retired IT professional, and this is the first time I have been stymied by an operating system re-install. I've tried variations in the BIOS settings for about 10 tries, with the same negative results.
Just completed my first build. I have two error messages during the boot sequence that I cannot resolve. The first screen shot during boot is the Asus logo. Next is a black screen that reads: "JMicron Technologies, PCI Express to SATA Host Controller ROM V1.07.23Detecting drives; Done; No drives found"next up is another black screen that reads:[CODE]
I have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).
I have Windows 7, Live Mail. Mail with attachments come in with no problems, like photo attachments, but my mail will not go out with photos attached. They are not huge files. I get an error message "error/tasks" but then that screen freezes.
Before my computer was working fine when i am connecting to the internet using a portable usb internet huawei. Then one morning when i tried to connect i got this "Error: 720".
My son has the above printer which has been working normally for quite a while now suddenly when he wants to print something he is getting this message coming up 'output file name' how can I get rid of this message so as he can print as before. I have tried system restore as far back as I can go but problem persists.I have looked in devices manager and there is a yellow exclamation mark which I've always interpreted as driver not completely installed I have been online and saved printer driver to my flash drive still wont install.
I bought a new wireless Epson Workforce 545 printer. It has worked without flow for quite some time (nearly a year). Now all the suddenly it wont print.I have it as a shared printer. There are three other family members on the network and all three others print without any problem. Mine worked fine and now wont print. It goes through the motions and then times out. All it says is "printer error".
I have changed my graphic card (MSI N560GTX-TI) and new PSU (Corsair GS 700) and now my PC does NOT start, it gives me an error message: "error code biohd-2 warning no drives detected".Checked the cables, SATA ports, hardware diagnose, reset CMOS, removed the motherboard battery and nothing...My HD is a WD Caviar Green 2TB.
In the past couple of days I have had the following WLM error message: The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Live Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. HP laptop: after log on, message says "problem starting C:ProgramDataWindowsPolicyProfile.dll" and can't do anything at that point but shut it down. Did full MRT scan which found nothing. McAfee says no problems.
I can't find anything on this and all 501/505 message posts are related to Windows XP not 7. But, I have a 501/505 error message in my Windows 7. Funny thing, it is a problem with all my browsers (IE and Firefox) and I cannot access any website with the www. prefix. Urls without this prefix works fine. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded and installed a Java update yesterday. Did this cause the 501/505 error problem? I also tried following the steps recommended by Microsoft for XP [URL]
I recently just starting having this problem in which it states that a specified modual cannot be found when i enter onto desptop?. I have no clue where this came from and it is very annoying. I have attached an image at the bottom of what specifically it states.
