Needing to resize digital photos i have recently taken. WinXP had a great little tweaker toy for this...i can't seem to find it in Win7. Is there a small program to do this. In WinXP all one had to do was right click on the image and voila, one could instantly resize an image.

I have some digital images that I want to post on another forum. That forum has a size limitation. My images are too large.
Does Windows 7 provide me the tools to resize those images and save them back into either their source folder or to another location.
My laptop has not be hooked up for over a year and just got comcast/infinity.I use blingee - gimp and site to store photos.My photos have stopped uploading.Sometimes I get a http error?

For my data's i try to trace it by using recovery software. I got all my videos and documents and mp3 files. but i cannot able to find my photos in my system. I dont know what is the reason.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem getting Media Center to display my Photos showing the individual photos contents of each folder.I am running Windows 7 HP 64 bit with all updates. My MEDIA (movies, music & photos) are on a separate hdd (M). Each of the media formats has it's own folder on the M drive, Movies, Music & Photos. I have no problem with the movies or the music. However, when I choose "pictures" in Windows Media Center only the individual photos folders are shown....no photos are shown in these folders. I see the individual folders but no contents. I have set up "Libraries" on the C: drive; Music, Video & Photos. When I click on photos in the "Libraries" all the photos folders are show each with it's own photos. I have "Shared" these libraries as well as each folder on the Media drive M. The format of the individual photos is jpg. I have run SFC/Scannow.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently switched to Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) using one Toslink cable instead of all the analog wires going from my PC to my receiver.The digital sound is amazing, CD quality from my PC is great.However, I now also receive the digitized sound of pages being loaded as I surf the web. All sound comes out digitized when loading a new page.Is there a way to stop this from happening while listening to music or course material without gong back to analog?Can I have my digital CD quality and enjoy it too!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using my parents computer for the last few months and decided to make my own user/log-in the other day. After doing so, I cut/pasted my photos folder into my new user directory (or whatever, I'm not very techie..). I have thousands of photos, my BF is a photographer, and I can view most of them. However, in one particular folder 90% of them aren't viewable! Says I don't have permission... When I log back into parents windows, I can see the photos in my directory (as they are no longer located in theirs) but there are little gold padlocks on the ones I cannot see on my log-in. I've tried changing permissions, ownership, you name it.. I've looked for help on line and tried everything. The only thing that seems to work is if I right click on each individual photo and change things that way.

Norton says the C drive has been defragmented and chkdsk reveals no faults. I need some extra space on the other partition for storage which is why I want to shring C where there is plenty of space

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a portable tweaking app from here and the window opens larger than my display so that the bottom of the window (where the buttons to "apply" the tweaks are) is off the screen. The maximize button is grayed out and no moving handles appear when I move the cursor to the window borders. I cannot find a way to maximize the window or resize it.

I'm using a Thinkpad T420s, dual booting Windows 7 and Fedora 16. However, prior to me installing F16, I used Disk management to shrink the Windows partition. Well...it turns out I shrunk it *way* too small and I'm barely able to use it. Under Disk Management, even if I create unallocated space, it still will not let me re-size my windows partition. I think this is because the partitions are in the wrong order...but I don't know what to do about it.
Disk management shows four partitions as follows from left to right:

No matter what I do, I cannot click "Extend Volume" on my Windows 7 partition. I would experiment and use certain bootable partition tools, but I'm afraid I'm going to mess with GRUB and I won't be able to boot either one of my OS's..
I resized a partition (the boot partition) using gparted off a linux boot disk (should be the same as any other program, though) after removing a backup partition which was never used. I rebooted the computer, and it ran startup repair. After startup repair had finished, I rebooted again. This time it boots into windows and gets to the login screen. I can log in, but it comes up with "welcome", followed by "preparing your desktop". It then loads a temporary profile. From there, I tried to load the control panel to load system so I could input the product key, but it wouldn't load the control panel because of an error I can't remember - but it displayed something like this: "{random nums and letters}"how to make it boot from a permenant account?
PS. I have access to command prompt as admin, and regedit. Also, I have another windows partition which I might be able to boot from. I also have a linux bootable CD, if that helps (can move around files from there)
I tried resizing my C drive but got an error message. It said something about dynamic discs ??after that when i tried to restart my hp laptop i got this error message:The message on boot states "windows failed to load. A recent hardware or software change may be the cause."The status is "Oxc000000f".The description is "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"what can i do to fix this problem? i am running check disc like the system suggested, but if it doesn't give me a solution will i need to re install or recover Windows 7 with my back up discs or using HP's system recovery?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not talking about a clicking the 2 boxes next to the close[X] button in the top right corner, I mean literally clicking on a side of a window and dragging it to enlarge it will freeze the system. I've also been having random freezing and random rebooting issues ( no BSOD) for the past couple of weeks and unfortunately haven't been able to dedicate enough time to diagnose the problem. I'm hoping the recent discovery of this very specific cause to a system crash will possibly lead to the culprit of my problems.- Ran Memtest86 - No problems found- Prime95 - Temps seems stable while its running but wont make it past the 5-10 minute mark before freezing.- Bios up to date- GPU driver is up to date (anything else need to be up to date driver wise?)- Tried switching RAM posistion between both slots, timings are within spec

So i am running windows 7 and vista on a dual boot Vista hard drive is C: while Windows 7 is B: now i am kinda low on memory on B: and i wanted to re-size so i used "EASEUS Partition Master 6.5.2 Home Edition" and i shrinked C: and had 40gb unallocated space and i went to my C: drive and wanted to resize it but i could't. Whenever i let the screen saver active itunes(and other windows) are resized to fit the topleft of the screen only. Can i fix it so it remains maximized? Also when i play some online games the topleft of the screen is the only part used also.
