An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: please enjoy and forward', Account: 'pop-server.neo.rr.com', Server: 'smtp-server.neo.rr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 cdptpa-omtalb.mail.rr.com Lost connection to [98.27.203.190]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67
This is my first time using Windows Mail and for whatever reason I am not able to send emails to people who have an office email address. The error message reads:
An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: ', Account: 'mail.charter.net', Server: 'mail.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 charter.net connection refused from [70.218.47.177]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67.
I have the following problem which cannot fix for a few weeks now and growing increasingly frustrated: Sending emails always generates the following message: 'some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks'. The message then stays in the outbox and the contents of message are deleted. I then need to delete the message which goes into the deleted items folder.
However, the email does actually get sent which I've verified by i) checking on send server of gmail and ii) sending/blind copying myself which comes into Windows mail inbox in the normal way. I would greatly welcome advice on how to remove the error message such that outbox messages automatically go to the sent folder rather than generating the error message and the message contents completely disappearing.
The only workaround is to bcc myself on outgoing mail so that I have a record of what I have sent from WM which then appears in the inbox with the text intact. As background, I have installed the Vista and WMutil patch and run all the checks and tabs to no avail. I have had AVG anti-virus installed for over 1 year. The problem manifests itself consistently in different countries and for both ADSL and wireless so i've discounted this as an ISP issue.
I can send messages using Earthlink webmail but receive this error msg when I attempt to send using Windows Mail An unknown error has occurred. I have various applications which I sell. Written in Visual Studio.net some in 2003, and some in 2008 versions. However the problem is the same with both. The applications have been running successfully on Vista 32 bit, but with Vista 64 bit, this error message appears when the user tries to start the program: Runtime error: An unhandled error has occurred. "An attempt to load a program with an incorrect format, (Exception from HRESULT:0x8007000B)" If the problem persists, please contact your software supplier.
I run Windows Vista Home Premium (32). I've used my HP Photosmart C4280 printer for about 2 years, worked fine for the most part. Lately I started having problems, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver & software (got the latest versions from HP download site). Since reinstall, my scanner isn't working. Whether I press the "Scan" button on the unit, or I select "Scan picture" or "Scan document" from the HP Solution Center, an error pops up: "An error occurred communicating with the scanning device. Please ensure that the printing device is properly connected and try again".
Also, I've uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers/software several times, cleaned temporary files and registry, still the problem persists. Having said that, the printing/copying works fine, so I know that the printer is properly connected. BTW, tried connecting the same printer to a friend's PC running Windows XP and it scans with no problem, so the issue must have something to do with HP interacting (non-interacting) with Vista.
Im having some problems installing vista 5270. It will start the installation, do its first reboot, then when it goes to install the rest, it comes up with an error says: An error occurred whilst copying files. I have tried installing at first the 64-bit version, then the 32-bit version, and still the same error!? I have also tried burning both versions to DVD, and installing them, installing them off a virtual drive by mounting them, extracting all the files to a folder and installing them, and still come up with the same error!!
I have also tried to install it on another machine, but coming up with the same problem?! I got both copies of Vista (32 bit version and 64 bit) from different sources.
Ive just formatted my hard drive and got a new graphics card -ATI 4870. When I try to run a game, using 'steam' it tries to install directx before failing, so I found the download myself and tried, it failed. The error said: 'INTERNAL SYSTEM ERROR OCCURRED refer to DxError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem.' So what any ideas, I need directx but I cant have directx. Wasnt sure if this post should go in here, gaming or graphics card. I figured here as its more a software issue.
I have cox cable but they said problem is with Microsoft, this is the message. I am getting when trying to send and I can receive messages: The connection to the server has failed. I keep receiving an Internet Explorer script error message telling me that "an error has occurred on the script on the current page - do you want to continue.....?" Can anyone tell me why this is and how I can eliminate the problem? I keep asking computer technicians from various companies, but everyone is passing the buck and won't give me an answer. Also, the same messages keep being downloaded into my inbox - any thoughts on this too.
I try to send mail from my laptop but it displays this message: a server error occurred and your mail could not be sent (102) when i log on from any other computer it seems to work and let me send mail. i tried restoring my computer and changing browsers but still same error message occurs.
I often said that there is no such an application that can be defined as all-in-one, or one-step to satisfy all your needs. Take DVD ripper for example, there are DVD ripping software that prevent you from importing DVD videos with CSS or CPPM protection for to fight against copy piracy. This is right, but causes some trouble for users who want to convert DVD videos to AVI, MPEG, and WMV etc. There are always alternatives to help ourselves out.
Actually, Many American legal experts believe that under United States' Federal law, making a backup copy of a DVD-Video is legal under fair use protection meaning backup copies made with software such as DVD Decrypter are in fact legal but that distribution of the software used to make them is illegal. So today, I would like to tell you how to deal with DVD with protection legally.............
When I try to reply, reply all or forward an email either in preview or from an open email nothing happens. Message at the top (Not responding). It seems like the program freezes or there is a very long delay for the reply or forwarded email to appear. If and when it does appear, the email is blank with no text, it is still waiting for the info to load whether there is an attachment or not. When I try to x out, a new window opens giving me the option to restart the program, close or wait for windows mail to respond.
I've been sending emails just fine for months, but now I get the following message: subject 'test', account ' pop-server.triad.rr.com', server: ' smtp-server.triad.rr.com', protocol: smtp, port 25, secure (SSL): no, error number 0x800ccc15 ISP is Time Warner Cable, Road

I get this message when sending email. The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Since yesterday a.m., I can't send emails using Windows Mail. I can receive, just can't send. Getting "The connection to the server has failed. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E" error message. I can send using the webmail application, but not Windows Mail. I am using AVG and have tried uninstalling. No luck. Tried reinstalling without email scanning. No luck. I've changed my outgoing port to 587. No luck. I've checked "outgoing server requires authentication". No luck. Called ISP and they say it is a Windows Mail issue.
I can receive email on my Comcast connection but I cannot send emails. Trouble shooting with Comcast indicate that the problem is not with Comcast. What can I do to fix the problem? Error number is 0x800CCC79. My email address is jpribesh@comcast.net. incoming POP3 server is mail.comcast.net. outgoing SMTP is SMTP.comcast.net. My operating system is Vista.
